Nahrein is wonderful! I am so glad I found her. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone. After years of being frustrated with another stylist at a different salon who could never seem to create the hair color I wanted (despite bringing in pictures), Nahrein created it perfectly the very first time! I am in love with my new burgundy color with highlights.
The attention and care she provided is beyond 5-​star service. She treated my fragile and fine hair in an incredibly gentle manner, and she took painstaking care to make sure my highlights were perfectly placed and that it blended extremely well with the rest of my hair. I was also in dire need of a good haircut, and now my hair feels so much healthier and it has so much more body! She is also extremely affordable, despite providing the quality one would expect to find at an expensive top salon on Newbury Street. Nahrein mentioned that she has a client that drives all the way down from New Hampshire for appointments with her, and I can see why! I would do the same in a heartbeat. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer.

I decided to try Belmont Beauty Salon after a less successful haircut elsewhere.
Nahrein understood perfectly what I wanted and gave me a wonderful haircut.
Some might be hesitant because she has a small and quite (compared to the new glitzy places) but she is talented and attentive.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Nahrein. She has been able to get me in within one week. She’s very accommodating. During my first visit I got blonde highlights. They’re perfect and Nahrein listened to exactly what I wanted. I got a haircut at the second visit and I love it just as much. I was paying outrageous prices for years at a salon in Boston and I’m mad at myself that I didn’t see Nahrein sooner. She is so reasonably priced and she provides very high quality work.

It’s been more than 3 years since I wrote my last review on Belmont Beauty Salon. What can I say, I don’t trust anyone else but Nahrain. We moved away from Belmont to Metrowest. But I still drive all the way to Belmont for my haircut, waxing, etc. She cares about her clients and makes sure her clients walk in and out of her salon happy.

I made an appointment with Nahrein last week. She was very accommodating of my schedule. We have just moved to the area and I needed a new hairdresser. I found Nahrein on Unilocal and decided to give her salon a try.
The salon was in great condition! Everything was very clean, warm, and friendly. Nahrein’s customer service was excellent as are the color and cut that I received. I have never had coloring so natural and subtle. She did a wonderful job matching the natural highlights and lowlights of my hair. I could not ask for more. The price was also very reasonable. I will definitely return for all of my hairdressing needs.

Nahrein has to be the nicest stylist I have been to. She is very professional and appears to love what she does for a living. Very affordable.

I’ve been going to Nahrein since I moved into the neighborhood, which is about a year ago. I regularly come in for a color and have had a few haircuts throughout the year as well. I am always pleased with the cuts and colors. I wanted to change my color to a darker color and Nahrein totally understood and I love this color, she matched my natural hair perfectly.
Nahrein is very professional and easy to talk to. I’ve also never had a problem getting an appointment and appreciate that I’m called when someone cancels for there is earlier availability. I think it should also be noted that credit cards are accepted and that the prices are reasonable.
Overall, I think its a great place for a cut, color, and blow dry!

I went here to get my hair cut based on the Unilocal reviews and the Best of Belmont awards. The owner was pleasant enough, though she didn’t have much to say and didn’t ask me anything. She complimented my hair’s texture and said she knew exactly what kind of cut I wanted based on my description.
She cut my hair quickly, then blow-​dried it. It looked okay in the salon. The price was fair. After I got home, however, I realized that the left side was longer than the right and the right side had been thinned out a lot more. I was really disappointed. I called her the next day to get an appointment to fix it but couldn’t get in for a week (mostly because of my schedule).
I went back in, she wet it and cut some more, dried it, and I was on my way. Later, after I got back home, I realized it was STILL uneven, although not as bad as before.
I would not recommend this place and won’t be back.

and now Best of Belmont again in 2012! Well deserved.

Nahrein is truly talented!!!
I have been having my hair highlighted for 10+ years at various salons throughout Massachusetts; But I have only had ONE other stylist give such amazing highlights, Nahrein is now the second. The result of my visit with Nahrein: GORGEOUS color!; lots of thin, super-​natural highlights!!!
Also, Nahrein and I had pleasant, easy conversation. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I found parking right in front of the salon and she also takes credit cards for payment AND for the tip!!!
I HIGHLY recommend Belmont Beauty Salon! You will NOT be disappointed!

Wanted a change in my hair, but nothing crazy so I looked for the closest place. I was originally going to go to a place in Cambridge but their prices are crazy high! I decided to try this salon and everything went amazing! I was able to tell the stylist exactly what i was thinking and she helped me with some great advice. She really knows what types of colors go with certain skin tones/​eye color, etc. I ended up getting a cut and highlights, which came out great. It also was a very reasonable price! I definitely plan on going again :)

What a gem!
I called yesterday to make an appointment for a haircut, and the owner told me I could come in within the hour. When I arrived, I told her that I was nervous about trying out a new salon and she assured me that she is quite meticulous and confident in the quality of her work, and that I had nothing to worry about. I really appreciated that sentiment.
During the cut, she asked what I wanted but also offered insight on what would look best and why, explaining the relationship between the shape of my face, the way my hair grows, etc. Sure enough, she cut my overgrown, thick hair into gorgeous face-​framing long layers that move and bounce. The biggest selling point for me was that she emphasized that it’s more important for her clients to have a cut that they feel they can take care of at home than a cut that is quicker or easier for her to do. I loved that!
I also really appreciated the ‘little things’ that are fun about going to a salon, like chatting with the stylist on a personal level, having someone take time and care with your appearance, and she even offered me chocolate on my way out! Her prices were the best that I was able to find in the area, and the experience is worth every dollar.
You will not go broke on a haircut, and you will leave wishing it was already time to go back.

Second time here and a second great experience! Highly recommend for color and cut :)
