We have bought and sold many homes, and we found Joe Serino to be the best inspector that we have worked with — hands down. Joe was incredibly thorough, and if it weren’t for him, we could have wound up with a house with a questionable foundation and other system issues. We were also very appreciative that he was so willing to discuss and explain each matter as he performed his inspection. We learned a lot in the process. We highly recommend Joe Serino!

I was very worried about a house we were buying in Asbury Park. It was built in 1940 and had«issues». Joe was recommended by my sister who works with a contractor in the area. She told me «he has a reputation of being very thorough and independent». Independent was important to me because most of the inspectors in the area are connected to the local Real Estate agencies. If they are too thorough, and find something wrong with a house it can delay a sale. If that happens too often they won’t use them again. Good for the buyer, bad for the seller. Joe spent a lot of time inspecting the house and then talking to us before, during, and afterwards. He explained everything in laymen’s terms. Based on his report we were able to negotiate major issues that needed to be repaired before the purchase. He also charged about 10% less than the other inspectors I researched in the area. Something about him is very trust worthy and honest. He knows his trade.
