Of course the Jim salad is worth its own trip. Great thin crust pizza. Also awesome lunch specials.

The food here is great, besides the enormous things they call calamari. The reason I give 4 stars is due to their wait staff. They are pretty terrible.

The food was delicious and the service from our waiter Kyle was great! Had a fried artichoke francese appetizer, broccoli with garlic and oil, chicken piccata over linguine and an individual pizza(just to try it) and all exceeded expectations. The only negative thing I can say is that the setup inside is kinda weird and cubicle-like. The outside area is really nice though. Would definitely come back.

I’m sensing that people either love Federici’s style of pizza or hate it. My family loves it and we’re glad that we don’t have to trek to Freehold anymore as the meatball pie here was close to identical. That’s all we ever get so I can’t attest to the other food but I was happy to see the pizza is excellent. The maze of booths comments are accurate and that’s a shame because it gives you an odd feeling being in there. Frankly, I wouldn’t even care if there were no tables or chairs in there, I’d eat the pizza standing up.

Great quality food & clean and casual atmosphere, the eggplant parm and arugula salad is my favorite. I feel like the quality of food here surpasses all of the other locations. Even though the recipes are all the same I love Feds on 10th the best out of all locations. Great people great food and great location.

We decided to pick up a pizza at Federicis on our way home from work this week. Having had the pizza in freehold I felt this would be a good treat, and was willing to overlook the high price of $ 19. We got home. We live 30 minutes away so it was too far to go back. What a huge disappointment. The pizza was small and horrible tasting. I really believe it was a leftover pizza. It was stale and tasteless. This was our third try at this location. The first try the pizza was ordered with meat ant the pizza came with very little. The manager apologized. And corrected the second try was ok. But on this third try it was so bad that I just can’t do it again. I am so disappointed as I have always loved the freehold location and never had bad food there. Mike. I don’t remember the date now. It was about a month ago. Probably a day or two before the comment was placed here. It was around 4.30 in the afternoon. The restaurant was not busy at the time and I picked up the pizza from the guys in the kitchen, I wish you could have personally seen the poor quality of that pizza yourself. But it was too far for us to drive back after working all day. I have never been disappointed like that in the freehold location and you can’t convince me that it’s the same. 8−10−15

Worst pizza and the very worst antipasto I have ever eaten. The pizza was paper thin(I love thin pizza) but this was too thin. The toppings were extremely sparse! The antipasto was chopped so finely my sister and I had a hard time eating it due to it falling off the fork. It also included celery, egg and not the traditional ingredients. My sister and I felt cheated and left hungry and extremely disappointed but we spent more than expected. We spent more than average for a large pie(although the it was not only too thin but small) and an antipasto that one could not eat! I grew up in the area and there are many, many other places to enjoy pizza/Italian food at very reasonable prices. Moms, Vic’s, Pete and Elda’s and many more. Please avoid wasting your money! The service was nothing to write home about either. Cannot imagine anyone recommending this restaurant.

We had the Tuscan tortellini, which was fairly good. The hot shrimp was amazing! Even the sauce was to die for. Good with the bread they serve. The tiramisu was pretty good! It’s not in cake form, but the parfait kind, so be forewarned. Our actual server who brought out the food was very friendly and funny, too. Overall, not bad for a quick bite before hitting the road. And easy parking as well! Perfect location.

It was after 6pm. It was a Sunday. It was Mother’s Day. And, we were hungry. We headed to Federicos, our go to place for Italian food in Belmar. Can you believe it… they were closed. We’ve been to the original Federici’s in Freehold but that was year’s ago and we were OK with it. We thought we’d give the Belmar offshoot a try. We chose to sit outside. That put us right next to the hostess station where we heard something we had never heard before. She stopped seating people because«the kitchen was backed up.» More than one patron left… some to Jack’s Tavern next door. FOOD&SERVICE: Overall the service was fine although our waiter was over apologetic for kitchen related delays. To be honest… we never noticed any problem. The salads were fresh and tasty. However, the Caesar dressing on mine was too peppery. The fried calamari appetizer was a decent size. It was tasty. The rings were huge. For a second I thought we got onion rings by mistake. The calamari was tender although the coating seemed overly fried. It appears as if the calamari was pre-breaded, slightly fried and frozen, only to be retried before serving. The sauce was good. Federici’s is known for its thin crust pizza, something you either love or hate. I usually side with the haters but I have moved into the camp of the lovers. We ordered a large pie with eggplant and onions. The eggplant was a little sparse. It was good but Federici’s large is more like a medium elsewhere.

I’ve been going to the original Federici’s in Freehold for a long time, so when this one opened close to my house I was very excited. They did not disappoint — started off with the necessary and always delicious Federici’s pizza. This is always great. Thin crust, so it goes fast, but perfect in every way. If you think you want a small, get a large. I also got an entrée of penne pasta with sausage, broccoli, and mushrooms in oil and garlic and this was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back to have it again. As for the atmosphere, it’s nothing too special. As my parents put it, it kind of seems like a maze with high booth walls all around. Aside from that, there really is nothing to complain about. Service was very friendly and attentive, and as I said the food was fantastic. Added bonus, the place is BYOB. Will be back soon.

We stopped in for lunch. We have ordered take out pizzas before. It took a little while for them to get the pizzas tasting right; now we enjoy the nice thin crust. The dining area is like a maze; there are half walls around all of the seating. It feels very confining. We had a large pizza and two lunch specials for our meals. The sausage, pasta and broccoli was very good. The«double play» was cheese ravioli and veal parm. I did not care for the ravioli, it tasted stale. All in all we had a good meal though. Our server was pleasant and the dining room was clean.

Ok, we are fortunate to live in a great area for pizza and I have reviewed a couple of places I love. However, the first time I had pizza from Federici’s in Freehold and later at Frankie Fed’s in Howell, I decided it was the BEST pizza in Monmouth or Ocean that I have tried. A buddy of mine recently ordered takeout for us from Federici’s on 10th and I am extremely happy to say their pizza has maintained the same high quality of its predecessors. A family friendly place that is BYO, the take out is phenomenal but if you can eat it there as the pizza comes out of the oven to your table, I have a strong feeling that even the hardcore Pete & Elda’s and Vic’s fans will be hard pressed to honestly say either is better than Federici’s. As is the case, when a restaurant does something so wonderful, I tend to always get the pizza but the rest of their menu is extensive. My wife loves their Jim Salad. It has a special italian dressing over garden salad but also has a selection of salami, cheese, etc. The news of Federici’s being in Belmar was awesome news! I will be able to enjoy the pizza more often and I can’t wait to broaden my horizons with one of their dinner dishes or a meatball sandwich. This place is outstanding.

I love Federici’s! I grew up going to the one in Freehold so I was super stoked to hear of the new Belmar location. The house salad dressing is the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten and their pizzas are great too! If you like thin crust pizza, you’ll love Feds!

I’ve been here twice and thoroughly like their pizzas. They do thin crust, FYI, which I know not everyone appreciates, but if you like a good thin crust pizza, I highly recommend. The best pizza I’ve had so far was pepperoni, onion, and sausage. Wow, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. If you want to drink, you have to BYO. There is also a nice outdoor seating area.
