VERY disappointed. Soggy fries, cold onion rings, stale pizza(HARD crust, cold), the burger was really just bad… I knew we weren’t getting«good» food, but I had hoped it would be acceptable. I will not go back. The delivery was quick and the soda was cold.

I ordered from them one time off grubhub. They claimed to have come to my home once when I asked them to return they did, saw the man across the street called the rest, and tried to get his attention, nothing. So waited 2 hours for no food and the guy on the phone at the restaurant was not very helpful at all.

Excellent Italian Beef sandwich. The bread very italian, the beef was delicious with a nice size plus portion, and sweet peppers generously added as a nice touch. Good job Nicky’s!

Ribs were fatty and dry, fries soggy even though I asked for crispy. Italian sausage tasted old and dry. My pizza puff was punctured and delivered as is, which was cold and very messy. Delivery driver wanted me to come down for food instead of bringing to our hotel door, so I tipped less than normal. Breaded mushrooms were good but too little too late imo. Won’t be going back

Everything I’ve eaten here has been good. My daughter and I always have our pizza dates here, and she couldn’t be happier with her large slice of pizza and drink. One meal has me full with more for left overs. The cashier is awesome and always look out for my baby.

Honestly very disappointing pizza, a franchise pizza is better to go with. Service is awful and rude. Last spot I would go to an order. The igredients are a shame.

I get the gyro from here all the time and its very good. Service is solid and a nice menu. Also id like to say the the reviewer below«Joe C» is a worthless fat piece of shit with no ability whatsoever to form a sentence.

Pretty average pizza joint. Not special enough to be a fave regular spot but good enough to get the job done if you’re hungry, in the area and got some cash. The pizza isn’t horrible. Actually, I would put it at the low range of pretty good and it’s a nice size slice. Maybe a bit pricy but who isn’t nowadays? Hotdogs can use a little improvement but if i really want a good hotdog, I’ll just go down the street to Mickeys

Last time I ate here was about 5 months ago. Had more frequent visits in the past and what Ive noticed is that the prices, at least on the smaller food options keep going up(e.g a slice of pizza w/pop was $ 3.65 a couple years ago. Ive watched it slowly climb to $ 5.00 for the same slice).

This place is nothing to go out of your way to get. A huge slice of cheese is $ 4.25, veggie slice is $ 4.75 and a deep dish slice of cheese and sausage is $ 4.75 all slices come with a medium pop no free refills. The pizza looked old and was thrown in a warmer for a minute. Sauce had no flavor, and their lemon Italian ice tasted like just plain ice with a hint of lemon flavoring. The slices are huge but again lack in flavor. The girl helping me was good but the girl who was suppose to be pulling the food as she was taking the order was too busy on the phone and slow. Just a less than average place to go.

It’s edible because I’m hungry this place provides no spice in their pizza the pizza is out of the warmer and it’s pretty cold the crust is very flowery definitely not the best pizza I’ve ever had they get two stars because it’s at least clean I was kind of thinking on my way home all Aldi’s has this frozen pizza its for 99 cents its sauce is a lot more spicier when you Dr it up with extra bacon and pepperoni and mozzarella it’s a damn good pizza I’m sitting here kicking myself thinking I should have went to Aldi’s instead of this place

I order from Nicks a lot, but what I have been noticing when I order after 3 or 4pm the food ISBAD. I am not sure what is going on in the evening but the food is all dried up with no juice and no flavor. I will not order after 3 again. I am tired of wasting my money and not enjoying it. I’m tired of complaining.

This restaurant has produced great food over the years… I will miss it once I move. Awesome people & food. That is all. Take Care. One.

The employees are rude. They barely can speak English. They don’t know how to use the cash register. I do not understand why restaurants employ people with the type of attitude that the employees have at that establishment. I will never go there again.

So I notice lots of people don’t really like this place. Personally I really enjoy the pizza and the marinara sauce. I also like the taste of the beef. I’ll be honest and say I haven’t tired much else. But when I crave a slice a pizza, its usually this place. Plus they always have groupon deals with is another plus. Its reasonable on the prices and quick food. Will continue to go back!

Nick’s Pizza & Beef. Serving up a whole lot of average for 35 years. I used a Groupon. There, I finally said it. You know what that means? If Unilocal had an All-Douche squad, I would now be eligible to be inducted. The Groupon name-drop would be obligatory to make it in this select group. In this instance, it’s imperative to mention the Groupon because it’s the only thing that brought me to this pedestrian looking establishment. This is classic«I don’t care» food. Food that only tastes really good when you’re so hungry that you don’t care what it is. As long as it’s digestible. I got my pizza with bacon and hot peppers after a long 10 hour work day. I was championing this weak ass pizza the entire time I was eating it. I probably said something like«Damn. This pizza is the TRUTH, son». But you see, I wasn’t in my right frame or mind. I was famished. Truth be told, the only thing that gave the pizza flavor was the peppers and bacon. And even those ingredients were applied meagerly. I couldn’t fathom eating a plain cheese pizza from here. For one, because I’m not 5 years old. But mainly because the pizza wouldn’t taste any different from the pizza box. This is the kind of place that stoners think is really good. They think everything is really good because they’re always high. So have your Nick’s menu handy and roll up another doob and enjoy your miserable food. .

I use to love this place when they were on Bellwood Ave. The pizza is «good»(while it’s hot) the price kept going up and the cuts kept getting smaller. You use to have the option if you wanted a pop but now their isn’t an option which lets them nickel and dime you some more. Last time I was there while placing an order I got the impression I was wasting their time because I decided to ask about some products on their menu and what came on it. Want have to worry about that anymore. I live 4min away from here and typically drive 15min away from this location for a pizza.

Good pizza, a little pricey but a good change from the fast food pizza chains. You can get pizza by the slice and a free 6-pack of soda with a purchase of a large pizza. The staff cares about their customers and remembers you when you return.

Nice eating area and clear easy to read menu’s. Sometimes places like this can overwhelm you with tons of handwritten menus and poor seating or an run down appearance. Nick’s was a 4⁄5 in this area. I was in the mood for pizza and the slice + free drink was a draw. Nice selection of styles, deep dish, pan, thin. And if you were not in the mood for a slice, they also had calzones ready to go. They had a $ 3 off $ 15 so I decided to try some different items. Sausage Calzone — Not as warm as I would liked. Still it tasted good. 3⁄5 Deep dish peperoni(sauce on top). 3⁄5. Crust and amount of cheese was great but I didn’t like the sauce as much. ½ cheeseburger. Good bun and assembly but the patties are pre-formed and look from frozen(you get 2 — ¼lb patties). 4⁄5 hotdog and fries– Crinkle cut fries 5⁄5. The hot dog on the bun was a little dried out though. Definantly not the perfect steamed bun I look forward to in a Chicago style dog. 2⁄5 Overall, with coupon it was a really good value but the food averages a 3⁄5. I do look forward to trying there Italian beef and gyros next. Bonus, open late and have a drive-thru.
