BEWARE of this place. My elderly father brought his car there to fix a slow leak in his tire. They pulled a nail out then drilled the hole with a power drill to put a plug in. (No one uses plugs anymore) The hole they drilled was to big for a plug so they told my father the tire was bad and he needed a new $ 156.00 tire. We then brought the car over to Goodyear and they put a patch on it fixing it the proper way saving him 156.00. These guys have no clue what there doing. Save your money and go somewhere else. PS. This guy is a new owner. The old guy Enzo is gone. The new owners name is Jay. He’s clueless. If he can destroy a tire Imagine what he could do to the rest of your car.

I loved this place when Enzo was running it. He was honest and affordable. I’m not saying the guy running it now isn’t but my one experience was bad. I need my car for work so dropping it off means I take a day. I left my car with them all day to check out an obvious noise and change a headlight bulb. When I picked it up 8 hours later, he claimed he couldn’t hear the noise. I asked about the headlight and he said «oh I didn’t do that since I couldn’t find the main problem». Um, it’s a headlight. I need that at night. Anyways, the noise was an engine mount and only required turning the car on to hear. I took it another place and they figured it out in five seconds. I might give them another shot but I am hesitant.

Very helpful to seniors, and those who are handicapped. Need inspection and oil change, set up appointment and it was all done while I waited. (less than 30 minutes). Rates are better than at dealership and the service in my opinion is much better. They know their business which is vehicles.

We used to like this place. We’d always bring our car here. They’ve been good to us. But after a recent bad experience will never go back. I really hate to give a negative review, but what happened to us was just unacceptable.
My husband has a muscle car that has sentimental value. An irreplaceable car with barely any mileage, that he barely drives himself and treats it like his baby. He loves this car — which is why he was so happy to find a mechanic he liked.
We brought it in to A&L&J for an inspection and it wouldn’t pass. When my husband returns to pick up his car, the owner proceeds to hand him a $ 20 receipt for gas, and tells him that he drove the car (without our permission) for miles on the parkway and «really opened it up.» to see if he could get it to pass. My husband was speechless.
Not only did he have the nerve to drive our car without our permission, and possibly risk getting a ticket or damaging the car, but then thought my husband would be ok with it… and actually thought we were going to pay for his unauthorized joy ride!
Well, my husband came home with a look on his face like someone just killed the family dog. Not only did he feel violated, but he lost a mechanic that he really liked. Unfortunately A&L&J lost our business and our trust.

Great service at this busy garage. Quick and reasonable pricing. Good for repairs and also oil changes. Don’t be turned off by how crowded their parking lot is, they do a high volume of business but still manage to complete work quickly.

After the experience I’ve had there I don’t trust them with anything more than oil changes. They do have a good deal on that, standard oil change for $ 20.
I had some engine work done there and 2 weeks later I hear an odd noise so I pop the hood to find the mechanic had left a wrench stuck on my engine.
I also overheard Enzo referring to me as an asshole while I was waiting in the front office for my car. I’d rather pay the extra $ 7 for an oil change elsewhere than be called names.
A buddy of mine also had an issue with Enzo, while trying to resolve the problem Enzo lost his temper and challenged my friend to a fight hahah. A guy who is coming up on 60 years old wanted to fist fight a guy half his age.
I hope he knows more about cars than he does conflict resolution.

I am devoted to Enzo and his crew. I have entrusted 2 of my cars to them and have not been disappointed. The owner, Enzo and his wife are ever present at this mom and pop shop. Is it possible to actually enjoy taking your car to the mechanic? Apparently, because it happens with me. Auto repair and maintenance is a necessity. A&L&J not only fix what’s wrong at a fair price but help in preventing future breakdowns. I have called in an emergency and was told to come right over, no questions asked. They have always put the customer first and that means everything to this customer.
