The guys at Whatcom Windshield are great. Friendly, well priced and speedy. I made an appointment to have my Dodge Caravan’s windshield replaced, and promptly forgot that it was on a Friday. So I showed up on Monday with no appointment. They got my van in immediately and replaced my windshield in about an hour for about $ 225 plus tax. The bonus is that they’ll fix a chip in the windshield for free if purchased from them. I’ve replaced 4 different windshields with them in the last 5 years(I’m a cracked window magnet for some reason) and have had great service every time.

I ended up in the unfortunate position of having two vehicles with broken windshields, and no glass insurance, so thought I would call around to see if anyone would offer me a ‘volume discount’. I checked out every glass shop that came up on Unilocal, and prices averaged around 250 bucks each. Whatcom Windshields was especially friendly, had reasonable quotes, and knocked about 10% off from their already low pricing, making them only a couple hundred dollars per windshield. And as they were only a few blocks from my work, I decided to go with Whatcom. My experience with them was exceptional! The windshields were installed quickly and professionally, and the owner, Al, even dropped me off at work, and had the cars done in time for me to pick them up on my lunch breaks. Oh, and an added bonus, after I had already negotiated my deal? Whatcom throws in free rock chip repairs for life with their windshield replacements! If you’re in need of a new windshield, or just have a chip that needs repairing, I could not recommend Al and his team more highly. Truly a five star experience!

Drove up, got a quote for a rock chip repair, thought it was reasonable, they fixed it and was out the door driving again in 15 minutes. My rock chip repair looked great. Am taking my other car in soon to get fixed too. The place at the mall wanted to charge 3x as much, and wanted to charge me to repair a pock mark that wasn’t even a true chip(not fixable, nor does it need to be).
