My boyfriend and I went to Smith Kia to do some research on the new Optima and the service we received from Jason N. was absolutely amazing. Jason went above and beyond our expectations. He spent a LOT of time answering our questions, working on the pricing, and explaining leasing v. owning to us both. I’ve worked in the customer service industry for the last 10 years, and the service we’ve received from Jason is one of the best interactions I can remember having.

I called with a relatively basic question about my car. I bought my car from out-​of-​state so obviously I wasn’t going to call a dealership over a thousand miles away.
Anyway, I talked with someone in service/​parts and soon he said «come on in, it’d be simpler if we just did it or you».
So I drive in, am helped within 5 seconds of walking out of my car; he actually came out before I even had to go inside and find him. He was very friendly and completed the task very efficiently.

First let me preface by saying I am a habitual car buyer. It’s a bad habit I know but I trade in my car every two to three years. That being said I’ve dealt with local Bellingham dealers for years Dodge, Ford, Nissan, Hyndai (some multiple) and Karmart in Burlington. I’ve never felt compelled to write a review good or bad But– my experience with Kia Bellingham was such a pleasant one I had to.
Our salesman Jason was very low key and did not pressure (stalk) us like other salesman in the past. I think the difference is their products sell themselves so they don’t have to be pushy. The buying experience was the best ever. Quick in and out, they honored a price I printed out from my bank! No haggling I couldn’t believe it! All that and free car washes for life, what more could a girl ask for?

Always my go to place!
I own a Kia Sportage and discovered Smith Kia during my second year at Western. I made the mistake of avoiding dealerships in general due to their bad rep. but once I came here I felt like a fool! Jerry in the service department is AWESOME. So friendly, helpful, and sincere!
They were always very accomodating. Provided me with a loaner car anytime I needed one. Always did a great job fixing any problem I had. Never any recurrence.
My only regret is that I no londer live in Bellingham and have to find a new service center to use!

Second KIA i have purchased. First was from Smith in Burlington but the latest one from Smith in Bellingham. I dealt with Jason Kurtz and Jason Neilsen. Both guys were accomodating and easy to work with, it was a pleasurable experience and not stressful at all. I’ll be back again for sure. They were both as patient as i was thourough.
The service department is great. Jerry is eager and helpful. I never have trouble getting my vehicle in or questions answered.
