This is a well stocked store. However I found the man working there seemed somewhat indifferent. Don’t get me wrong, he was courteous but didn’t seem to be concerned about the customers in the store. He was just standing at the counter engaged with something on the computer. As I was looking through the humidors he showed no interest in assisting me. To be fair it seemed that he was the only person on staff at the time. Just the same a little personal attention would have been appreciated. Even to say «is there anything I could assist you with?», would have been nice. I might even have left buying some cigars.

Went in looking for some pipe tobacco for a gift. I do not know anything about tobacco so I waited to talk with the sales guy. He was extremely helpful and was able to guide me in the right direction for my gift! I will be back!

The owner has no idea what customer service is. Moe is as much of an ass as the owner. Both need to be away from «helping» anyone.
Don’t support a local asshole and his asshole workers. Spend your money somewhere else.

I’m not a smoker, but I went in to buy some tobacco for my sweetie… Unfortunately, I was «helped» by Monique, who treated me with such condescension and contempt that I left a little stunned and actually cried in my car for a few minutes. I’m not sure what I did to offend her, but I will be anti-​recommending this place as long as she works here.

Good selection, but prices on cigars are way over suggested retail price, on some the prices are about 300% of suggested price.

Senate Smoke Shop is my favorite shop in town. I’m finding myself there less and less as my schedule gets busier, but when I come back after just a week I realize how much I’d missed it. Mike runs a great store in this great location off Holly, and is always a pleasure when I’ve been there, even when I’ve got no money to spend and just want to browse his array of beautiful glass. He and his staff (Taylor, Moe, Nick, no matter who you work with you’ll have a great experience) are experienced and honest in their trade. This is my preferred shop to buy glass art in Bellingham, hands down.

Senate Smoke Shop is an excellent establishment with knowledgable staff and great prices! I bought the Danish rolling tobacco on the clerks recommendation and I have to say that I’m very pleased! I’ll be coming back to Senate for my tobacco in the future and would recommend this place to anyone. I didn’t look around the store too much but it looks like they have an awesome selection of glass wares too.

Best place to get scientific glass in Bellingham. Good selection of Roor, Grav Labs, Dave Goldstein, etc.
Had an issue with a purchase and they more than made things right.
Go to the Senate for all your smoking needs!

I should preface this review with the fact that I don’t actually smoke. But I went in there with a friend who does, and I have to say I was really impressed with the selection and the service at this place. As previously noted by other Unilocalers, this place is beautiful, well-​stocked and their prices are very reasonable. If I ever have customers at my own place of employment who are looking for tobacco products, I always send them down this way. If you must smoke, this is the best place to go.

I just came here after visiting the Fairhaven Smoke Shop because they said this place had a bigger selection of tinned pipe tobaccos. It was the best selection of tins I’ve seen. The Fairhaven shop had a wider variety of pipes with this one focusing almost exclusively on Vauen. Clerk was really nice but I unfortunately missed Mike, the owner. Overall, awesome store and I can imagine stopping in everytime I’m in town. I still prefer the Fairhaven store as it feels more old school and doesn’t have glass pipes etc.

Amazing smoke shop. I just bought a $ 100 bubbler from them. The clerk named nick was so nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back in the future… lifelong customer now! :)

A great shop run by the wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful Mike. Hands down the best Smoke shop in the Pacific North West. Check out his other shop too in Fairhaven.

The best. Run by the same people who own the Fairhaven one, but 5x bigger. Sweet people who even opened up way past close to let a drunk girl pee. They couldn’t be nicer, and they beat everyone in price and selection. If you can smoke it, they have something for it, even herbal blends. Hell, they even have straight razors with the high end lighters and cigars. I hope they put the asshole on Magnolia out of business.
