Culinary Creations

I’m not a big baker or cook, but I’m always aspiring to become one (!). So in this endeavor, I watch cooking reality shows on tv and check out kitchen stores like this one, wherever I go. I may not use all the items displayed, or even know what they are and what they do, but I ask a lot of question and appreciate good design and utilitarian pieces.
This store is jam-​packed with stuff, from big to small, from decorative to pragmatic. There are unique single-​purpose kitchen tools and utensils, gourmet food products, great gift ideas for the cooks and bakers in your life, and wine accessories.
My eye was initially caught by the humorous dish towels at the front of the store. They had the funniest sayings on them and would make a terrific hostess gift. Heck, I wanted a few! As well as many of the jarred gourmet condiments, and the placemats.
The store is deceptively large, as it is quite deep. And, as mentioned, it truly is jam-​packed. If you’re into kitchen and dining accessories or cooking tools, expect to spend a lot of time in this place.
I’d be surprised if there were a kitchen item one wanted that couldn’t be found in this store. Great place!

When the previous version of this store closed, I hoped that a similar store would reopen. Quelle surprise when one did! Bellingham has two fine kitchen and culinary stores, but this one is closer to me and to a few of my favorite shops. I was greeted and assisted quickly. The choices were unique and eclectic. I look forward to supporting this local business.
