A solid 4 stars. If you like fun, wild and blended drinks, this place is for you. A multitude of flavors and syrups, both sugar free and regular and a fun vibe. The baristas are golden, always cheerful and happy to serve you. I ordered a double tall soy white coffee latte and enjoyed it– probably a 3 star latte. A little milky– more foam, please. But DEFINITELY hot enough, which I am super picky about. Love the white coffee option– more caffeine, different flavor too. I’m spoiled by assuming that I’m not paying for my second shot, but, alas, you do at most establishments. 3 stars also on speed– it took forevvvvver to get through the one car on each side before me. I hear that’s not often the case though, and both cars appeared to have ordered giant fancy drinks. So I completely understand. Full 5 stars on customer service and variety, and the other 3, mean this place is solid good. I’ll return and try other things!

BigFoot Java is now my new morning coffee stop. Conveniently located, good coffee, and great service. The price is even a bit better than other local coffee shops I have been too lately. The staff is very friendly, and always starting the conversation to help wake me up on the way into the office.

This is a rating for the Big Foot Java on Bakerview mostly. I go here early in the morning… i take that back i use to go here before work and now i go to Wood’s and Starbucks. I would rather pay extra to get good quality then go to a place where they have no idea how to make coffee. Every time i went there my coffee tasted burned and it was terrible plus the barista had a convoy of early morning visitors in shady cars, not a safe place to go. I contacted the owner and she was awful! She defended the way they make coffee. No apologies to me as a customer just telling me i need to accept the way they make coffee or do not go there. She did not even address her baristas choice of characters taking up part of the driveway while people were trying to get coffee. No offer for my money back nothing. Horrible, Never ever will go there again.

The coffee is perfect everytime and you can’t beat the price. The baristas are always friendly. The 24hr service is a plus.

I was just driving through and thought, «I’m a tourist, I should stop here and get a drink.» Well, the service is excellent, the drinks are tasty, and not everything is caffeinated. I’m very happy tourist.

Prices are cheaper then Starbucks and the coffee has a smooth and solid taste. The drive thru can move a little slow but that is part of the issue with drive thru coffee shops as they place one order– complete it before helping the next car. All in all this is a good place to get a cup of coffee –plus it is open 24 hours a day!

While driving to Canada and stopping for gas, I came upon this location at about 8pm. So glad these were open late. I asked the Barista, who was friendly and nice, about a smoothie without dairy(for my son) and she made sure everything was new for concerns of cross contamination. Again, have been a fan of BFJ and glad that no matter what the location, there are awesome people working these spots!

My favorite coffee place in all of Bellingham. I have really weird work hours, and Bigfoot Java is open 24-hours a day. Oftentimes I’ll come here twice a day — sometimes for the coffee, and sometimes the coffee is just an excuse to chat with the baristas. Bigfoot has some really friendly, energetic baristas who seem to actually care about my day. The coffee itself if top-notch. It really tastes gourmet. Get the legendary latte blended and you’ll be in heaven. Or try some white coffee, which has a lot of caffeine but is less acidic.

I used to get soy lattes here on my way to work. They were okay, not great but not as expensive as Starbucks. I always felt like the soy milk was burned, but the woman who worked there was very nice and chatty.

I love the coffee drive thru concept! Why get out of your car in the cold, rain, or snow for a cup of coffee?! The service was friendly and fast with a fair price. I wish there were similar establishments in DC.

This place is open 24 hours and I wind up stopping there pretty often on my drives to and from the tsawwassen ferry terminal. At first I was… dubious about going to this place because it seems to be some kind of chain and I like to support the one-and-done places, but hey, it’s the only one that’s open. Can’t beat that. Everytime I drop in, the girls are very nice and the coffee always hits the spot and gets me home safe and awake. Thanks, Big Foot Java

My mom and I used to stop here occasionally because it’s really conveniently located — we go through Sunset every time we go to or from the north side of town. The coffee was never that good, the baristas were pretty slow, and they use those weird compressed shiny styrofoam cups. But no matter, if we weren’t in a hurry, we’d get our drinks — an double tall extra hot americano for her, and a nonfat tall latte for me — and be on our way. One day, we noticed they had some sort of promotion going on — one of those deals where you prepay for some number of drinks, I think it was 10, and get one free. What a great idea, we thought, we might as well! We don’t come here that often, but we’ll use them sometime. We got 2 magnetic strip cards, one with 11 double tall americanos, one with 11 tall lattes, and we put them in the coin tray of my mom’s Jetta. The next time we pulled up to their drive-through window, in the Walgreens parking lot, we gave our usual drink order. When the barista came back with the total, we confidently handed over our bright red«BIGFOOTJAVA» cards. «Oh — sorry, we don’t accept those anymore», she smiled at us. Not one to take no for an answer, my mother insisted that there were drinks — 11 drinks! — on each one of the cards. The barista smiled at us again, «Well, we don’t have a machine that can read those cards anymore, so I have no way of knowing that». My mother stared her down. The barista got her manager. Upon examining the cards, the manager carefully made 11 tally marks with a sharpie on the back of each card, and then scribbled one out. He handed our cards back to us, with our significantly less hot drinks, and looking pleased with himself, waved the next customer up to the window. Now, every time we go and present our *paid for* cards, there is a great confusion and commotion. It’s turned from«We’re not doing that promotion anymore» to «I’ve never heard of that promotion and don’t believe you». Sometimes they try to swipe the cards as if they were a credit card. My mom then shows them the tally marks on the back. Sometimes they nod and give our drinks, sometimes they cross out a tally mark, and sometimes they add more tally marks. Sometimes they try to hole punch them. It’s gotten to be quite a mess, and I’ve taken to reading a book while my mom sorts it out with the poor soul at the window. And then, every time we finally manage to drive away with our hard-won espresso, we vow that as soon, just as soon as we use up those drinks we’ve paid for, we’re never coming here again. It’s been about four years since we bought those cards. I’m in college now. When I come home, we keep going back to Big Foot Java, trying to use up these prepaid cards. I don’t understand how we’re still getting coffee. The tally marks on the back of the cards have started to wear off, and I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. They’re still sitting in my mom’s coin tray. One star for convenient location. One star for what I suspect is a lot of free espresso.

I’m biased because I work here, but whatever. We do serve really great coffee(Dillanos, based out of Sumner, WA) and we also have awesome smoothies. We serve white coffee, which is kind of like crack(twice the caffeine). We have almost every flavor you can imagine — even in sugar free flavors! We use Ghiradelli dark chocolate, regular chocolate and white chocolate(powder, which is the best). We also serve Big Train Chai(a powdered chai) which is starting to come up as better than Oregon… could it be?! You decide, come check us out! We’re all really nice and love all our customers! Try the Mythical Mocha — White Chocolate and Caramel = Heaven.
