I’ve only been here once but I’ll be back again. I came from another local waxing studio and I can assure you that this place is much better than any other place I’ve been to. The woman who waxed me was so nice and made sure she got all the hair which the other studio I had been going to seemed to struggle with. Would recommend to anyone!

I may be a little premature on rating this place 5 stars but based on my first experience I am assured my opinion will only get better!
I was referred to Jessi for a NuFree Brazillian by a dear friend and I was NOT disappointed! She was fantastic! This was my first experience as well and she made me more comfortable than I ever could have imagined I would be.
The appointment took about 25 min tops. Much faster than I expected! Not to mention, she is a perfectionist and goes back and tweezes every hair that the wax didn’t grab. The overall feel of the appointment was that I was going in for a professional service, which I was very pleased with! She also made sure that she got to know me as a client which I feel is important as well.
One thing I must say that I was extremely impressed with was when I went to pay she made sure to let me know that the tip is included in the price already. Her words were, ‘I’m a professional and I guarantee my work every time, you will get the same service, so tip is already included.’ That to me shows extreme confidence and someone that I can trust to do a great job!

Pretty and cozy location. Heated massage tables are pretty sweet! Went for waxing services. Brittany was good, thorough. I would go back.

Ever think of waxing and painless in the same sentence? No, me neither. But I’ll tell you one thing, Jessi is hands down the most talented, quick, warm, professional, cleanly individual in the business.
Pain level, ladies, you know what I’m talking about– literally half the ouch factor from any other waxing/​sugaring salon out there. Seriously. You will NEVER feel awkward, and will ALWAYS have personable service– not just «another face». It is incredibly evident that she is highly practiced and through in her work.
Where she moves, there will be a following.
The new location is both calming and oh-​so-​chic.

I have been seeing Jessi for well over a year. I cannot say enough great things about her and her waxing skills! Her new location is very nice and easy to find. I drive from Anacortes to Bellingham every six weeks for my appointment. That’s how good she is!

«As good as it gets», (the 5 star description) is serious. Let me see… I followed Jessi from being an employee at another business to her now expanded business, and I would never venture elsewhere. I used to drive to Seattle to be waxed properly, and then I met Jessi. This was at least… three years ago? Maybe longer?
I have very sensitive skin, and Jessi has ventured into her education so thoroughly that her NuFree Brazilian has saved my areas. You know what I mean.
To top it off, her personality is amazing. So amazing she was able to get my (Veteran with PTSD) husband to be comfortable with getting his back waxed.
The product lines that she sells… she actually KNOWS them! And uses them! AND goes to seminars and continues her education on them! I’ve personally watched her skin improve through the line that she now endorses. Trusting her knowledge, just makes

The space is beautifully decorated, clean, warm and inviting. I got a Brazilian wax and the service was professional, friendly, quick and thorough. Over been back again with the same satisfied results.

I loved my experience here! It was my first time doing any sort of skin care — waxing, sugaring, or nufree so I was walking in very nervous. However, the esthetician, Madison, did a great job of reassuring me and helping me feel comfortable. She was casual, yet professional and dealt with my nervous blabbering with ease. I love her! And as soon as we were done, I booked an upkeep appointment.
After all these years of being too afraid of the pain and hearing horror stories of beauticians and estheticians being mean or just plain gossipy about their clients, I’m glad I took the chance to finally do it. And getting hair removal done at BARE was the best choice, after reading the other reviews on here and I concur. One of the other great things about getting nufree done here is how quick you get in and out. Takes a lot of the nerves away, you’re done, and back in your car! :)

5+ stars for Jessie! ! She is brilliant! I have had 2 other nightmareish Brazilian experiences and was apprehensive to try again. Jessie put me at ease with her friendliness and expertise. The studio is very clean and welcoming. Speed waxing gets me in and out on my lunch hour in 15 minutes or so and I still have time for a bite to eat! And not enough time to think about the pain! :) Jessie is personable and professional.. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Jessi! was amazing, so friendly and caring and just understanding. she was open and helpful! i called today and got a appointment today and that is not normal! i was so thankful that she had a opening. She had this none wax wax that i used today and it was amazing! my skin was soft and not red or puffy at all! Im so thankful for my sisters friend to tell us about her! everyone go there ! her prices are so worth it. 45 – 50 $ for Brazilian!!! I’ve sent so much more than before! its a breath of fresh air when i spend much less money and get the same amazing results!

After trying shaving, waxing, sugaring and lasering with just okay results I had almost given up. Enter Nufree, the… substance (it’s not wax) originally created for hair removal before surgery. No more ingrowns, and I actually see a noticable reduction after just two appointments! Hairs are still pulled out by their roots, so it is relatively painful (less painful than waxing, sugaring, or lasering, though), but Jessi is so quick and skilled that it’s over before you have the chance to worry about the unavoidable pain.
On my first visit she took the time to explain sanitation practices (not that I was concerned-​the place looks spotless) and the atmosphere is friendly and professional. The no tip policy is great; I like it when I know the price I pay is what they expect instead of worrying if I over– or under-​tipped.

Wow! I had a brow wax and facial done by Jessi the week of my wedding, and it was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences of my life. I had never waxed before, and Jessi put me right at ease. My brows and skin looked AMAZING for my special day.

Moving to a new city, I am always apprehensive about finding new service providers, especially for waxing because if I get a bad one, it’s extremely painful. I found Jessi from her reviews on here, and all I have to say is, they were absolutely right.
Jessi was amazing! She is so welcoming and sweet, really makes you feel comfortable. She is fast, but so much more thorough than any other esthetician I have been to. It was by far the least painful and cleanest brazilian I have ever experienced. Although waxing down there is not very enjoyable, Jessi makes you feel like you are just there to chat and catch up. From now on, I will not get waxing anywhere else.

Just moved here from San Diego and needed a last minute appointment. Jessi was able to see me last minute. She was very professional and pleasant. Her work is very detailed. I will definetly be going back.

I cannot say enough good things about Jesse! Not only was she extremely knowledgable about my skincare needs, she made me feel more like I was chatting over a glass of wine with a girlfriend, rather than getting… ouch… a brazillian wax! She was quick with the wax and it was honestly the cleanest and most thorough I have ever received. She also waxed my eyebrows and tinted both my eyebrows and my lashes and they look amazing!
After all the waxing, I had her finish off with an amazing facial. It was SO relaxing and when it was over my skin looked and felt better than it has in years!
I came to Jessi with some aging issues and when I asked her to recommend some products to me, she really took the time to go through everything I was interested in. Her line, Bioelements, is really affordable and after just one day and night of using it, I can already see improvements.

I had my first facial with Jessi yesterday and afterwards, I booked my second!
First off, the quality of the service was awesome. Jessi is clearly very experienced and has «knowing hands». I felt confident in her abilities from the minute she touched me. Everything was soothing and relaxing. I left with amazing radiant skin and felt refreshed.
Secondly, the salon itself is so beautiful. Very clean, elegant, simple and so conveniently located right downtown in the Robert Jude Real Beauty salon.
Lastly, Jessi is so nice and professional. She didn’t try to push anything on me and gave me her honest and direct opinion.
Bellingham just keeps getting better for me as I find these little gems. Vancouver ladies, Jessi does customized 1 hour facials for $ 65. You can’t go wrong.

So this is going to be a pretty long review because I had such a wonderful experience and feel like there’s a lot to say here.
I have recently moved to Bellingham and decided to get a Brazilian wax for the first time. I’ve had an extended bikini wax done before, but it was a long time ago and I didn’t have too great of an experience. I have extremely sensitive skin and very dark thick hair — the worst possible combination when it comes to waxing. Anyways, I did some searching and really liked Jessi’s website, so I decided to give her a try.
I am a very shy and reserved person, and «baring all» to someone I’ve never met before is a reason to cause a bit of anxiety for me. Jessi was extremely professional and I was surprised with how comfortable the experience was. There was not a single time I felt awkward or embarrassed. Further, she is EXTREMELY clean.
The «Advanced Speed Waxing» title on her webpage is very fitting. She was extremely fast — the Brazilian and eyebrow wax took a total of 30 minutes. She didn’t dilly dally and was understanding of the fact that no one wants to be sprawled out in front of someone else for any longer than what they need to be. I want to point out that although she was fast, she was not rushed with the process and was extremely thorough — which I really appreciated. You can tell that she knows what she’s doing and cares about giving you the best result possible. Further, she made the process as pain free as possible and did not wax over sections she already waxed — the wax she uses is very good and literally grabs it all at one go.
She is the best, and I won’t go to anyone but her.

Jessi is a rock star. She has this great personality that makes you feel like a sister instead of a client. Her business sense and customer ethic is not easy to come by.
I’ve been going to my nail salon for a few years for waxing and decided to give this a whirl. So glad I did. The experience was wonderful (if getting your body hair ripped out could be called wonderful). I will be back!
