Fun place to have a crêpe in downtown Bellingham. Good place to bring the kids too, as they have all sorts of fun sweet crepes to go along with their savory ones.

For Bellingham this is a decent place if you’re craving a crêpe. They’re not the best crepes I’ve had in my life, but I’ve also had worse. Their prices are good and their ingredients are usually fresh. I like the banana cream pie, but this place is not at the top of my list of go-to dessert places.

Two words: strawberry. Nutella. OMG! One is big enough to share for sure. They have some sort of eating challenge too. Try it!

Best place in Bellingham to get a crêpe! Tons of options for sweet or savory crepes, cheap prices, and huge servings! I recommend the savory Chicken Bacon Ranch or the sweet Razz Dream crêpe.

So obviously this was NOTTHENIGHT for me to try this place. I went in, ordered my smores crêpe and sat on the bench to wait. There I was, innocently checking Facebook, when some idiot– who had entered the crêpe eating contest, and clearly lost– started barfing in the garbage can right next to me. GROSS! And then they gave me the wrong crêpe– I got chocolate strawberry instead of smores. And I couldn’t even eat it because of the previously mentioned barf incident. Pretty sure I won’t ever be able to walk in there again.

This place was recommended to me and I think it’s great! The food was terrific — savory and sweet! I came with 4 teenagers and everyone was beyond delighted! The environment is laid back, even modest, but the food shines with complex flavors and originality!

Each time we’ve come to dine, the service has been wonderful! Our family loves crepes and for Mother’s Day, I was treated here for lunch with my husband and two kids! We ordered a strawberry and banana, strawberry and Nutella and I got the Apple Pie Crêpe! We are never disappointed! Our kids LOVE the atmosphere and always seem to finish their half of the crêpe! Our son says it’s even better than pancakes! We finally grabbed a punch card and even eyed the 26 Crêpe challenge for two! Not sure if we can handle that just yet, but congrats to the two pairs that have already! We’ll definitely be coming back for more! Well bring some friends too! Thanks guys!

I recently visited Bellingham with a friend and she recommended AB Crepes for lunch. I remembered hearing good things about it when I lived in Bellingham, but just never had a chance to try it before I moved. I’m glad I finally had the chance to stop in! They have a pretty decent sized menu with sweet and savory options. Some of their concoctions are pretty unusual(but delicious) sounding, but I opted for a classic Zesty Scramble. My friend got the Apple Pie. We both loved what we got! The Zesty Scramble had eggs, lots of cheddar, mushrooms, chipotle salsa, and sour cream. It was HUGE. For such a reasonable price, I was surprised by how much food there was. And it was truly yummy. The chipotle salsa had a nice smokey flavor, and the mushrooms added a nice meatiness. My friend loved her Apple Pie crêpe as well. It had apples baked in brown sugar with sweet caramel drizzle and what looked like crumbled graham crackers. Again, it was gigantic. We barely were able to finish! The customer service was fantastic as well. The employees were all very efficient and friendly. AB Crepes is definitely a place to keep in mind when you’re in downtown Bellingham!

Very good crepes, the aroma alone will get you in the door, you walk by and they have their window down, and you can just smell them, they smell so good. I had the Hawaiian and it was huge, great lunch and I enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this place.

Ah, the ever popular Bellingham crêpe place. I came to try this location after hearing all the things about it from my BHam friends! I ended up with the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese crêpe and I honestly just didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. To be fair, I’d had reservations about eating savory crepes beforehand and this was my first time trying one and it made me realize why I wasn’t sure about them before. For me, crepes just work best when they’re the sweet kind with berries and the such. I suppose I just wasn’t too pleased with what I did end up getting so they’re only getting 3 stars from me, but if I’m ever in the area again, I’ll have to give it a second try for a sweet crêpe! Will re-review then.

So I come here about once every 2 – 3 months or so and all past 4 experiences have been top notch! Husband likes the savory crepes, I love the sweet ones so between the two of us, we’ve tried a handful of them and enjoyed them all. For savory, highly recommend the pizza crêpe. What’s great is that you get to pick your toppings! I’m a big fan of the strawberry banana with nutella. How can you go wrong with nutella??! Either way, the sun’s shinning so I’m sure AB Crepes is getting ready to get there outdoor seating set up. One of the best places to grab a bite to eat AND people watch! Come ‘on, you’re on Railroad! People watching is a must! Oh! And I can’t forget to mention the GENUINELY friendly college-aged people that work at this place. They’re all so laid back but yet, if you watch them for a few minutes, you can tell that they want to produce a great tasting product! Love the clean prep tables that they maintain back there, if a few toppings drop on the table, I noticed on more than one occasion that they grabbed a rag and took care of it as soon as possible :)

So, are you hungry? Maybe even late into the evening? Can’t decide whether you’d like sweet or savory? Have I got the place for you! While wandering downtown recently, we re-re-discovered how amazing AB Crepes is. I couldn’t decide which crêpe to get, and asked the cashier for a recommendation. She promised that I would fall in love with the Banana Cream Pie crêpe. There was no disappointment whatsoever in her suggestion. Creamy, sweet, filled with bananas and strawberries, and with their amazing ABC’auce providing a delicious finish. Do yourself a favor, and head down to AB Crepes. You won’t regret it.

Great stuff! We brought our daughter here for her birthday because she has recently become a vegetarian, and we thought this might be a place where everyone could be happy. We were not disappointed! I was able to order my own southwest style crêpe, and was even asked if I would like sour cream to go with it. My daughter and her friend ordered their own random mixture of sweet stuff, and my husband had the Mediterranean crêpe with chicken added. Everyone was happy, and we will definitely be back. Oh, and the price for create your own crêpe was amazingly cheap at $ 3.60!

Visited on a Saturday morning in February, expecting far more people to be out and about on a day where it was not raining. It was delightful to be able to finally get crêpes from these lovely magicians, as usually we are stopping to watch through the window(a frequent entertainment for small children, especially during the summer) as the crêpe cooking is all done in the front window. The coffee was hot and fairly decent, the service was friendly and fast and the food was so good that my teenage son was silent during his consumption of «The Usual»(cinnamon, candied walnuts and AB sauce). I had the ABCT(avocado, bacon, cheese, tomato) and it was delicious, but I wished I had gone with a sweet crêpe… though the S’more crêpe I had last summer was a little on the heavy side and definitely should be shared. All in all, a quite delightful experience! Will definitely be back.

You may think I’m full of crêpe, but I believe that there aren’t many things in life more satisfying than a good crêpe. Good thing we have a local shop that rivals all other crêpe shops I’ve ever been too. Sweet or savory, whatever you’re craving, the selection is there and you better be hungry! I usually get one savory crêpe per person then split a dessert crêpe. It’s too good not to. Add it to your«must try» list and be prepared for the fact that you’ll never give a crêpe about another crêpe shop once you’ve tried AB Crepes. They are that good.

Good crepes. Friendly service. Cool place. I had a breakfast one. It was okay. Wife had a different one. She like it a lot. Son had a raspberry one which was crazy good. Overall the crepes were light and just like they should be. Would go back and maybe try one with Nutella

Was craving Apple Pie(thanks to a pumpkin beer from Wander!!)… Fall is in the air! Unilocal led us here for an apple pie crêpe. We added candied walnuts. Oh My Goodness! So delicious! How have we not been here before?! Nice to have another reliable dessert place on Railroad since Mallards has become a bit iffy. Highly recommend!

Here is where you can get happiness on a plate day or night. Your choice of sweet or savory, both are available, both are delectable and satisfying. Usually I indulge in sweet strawberries and bananas swimming in Nutella and enveloped in a light fluffy crêpe for an evening treat. However, I have also thoroughly enjoyed the ABCT(avocado, bacon, cheese and tomato) combination for a filling lunch. There is something on the menu for everyone. You won’t be disappointed. There is metered parking out front, but it’s free on weeknights and weekends. You can walk up and order your crêpe to go from the street-front window. Alternatively, you can step inside, order and pay from the counter, then wait at a table for your masterpiece to be brought to you. The atmosphere is laid back with fun murals painted on the walls. Seating choices include several tall pub tables as well as long community tables that can seat singles or groups. Composting and recycling are encouraged, as is busing your own table when done. This is a fantastic little Bellingham staple that I suggest everyone try.
