I’ve come a few times to this dentist and I’m happy with their service. They don’t try to sell you anything and they get right to work. They send you reminders for your next appointment which helps me out a lot.
The dentist is also very gentle but thorough when working on you so if you’re a big chicken like my wife, I think you’ll like it here. Give them a try. I think you’ll like them.

Scott Wathen and his whole office are so great, I trust them completely. I get nervous at the dentist, and these guys are so gentle and honest, I will never go anywhere else! If you need a gentle dentist who is amazing at what they do: Dr. Wathen is the one for you. Simply put: good luck finding a better dentist than Dr. Wathen. He also recommended me to to the best in Endodontics for my root canal– Dr. Joseph Greiner, DDS. Amazing! Oh, I forgot to mention the quaint play area for kids & Susan, the Office Manager, is: fantastic, fast and kind.

I have been a patient here for the past 2 or 3 years now after a bad experience with Western Dental.
I had a tooth that was in pretty serious pain and I went to Western Dental because, well, that is the only place that came to mind. After getting one of their dentists/​technicians to check out my tooth and having her suggest a scaling, she went in the back for confirmation. Well, after that another gentleman came out and told me that they wanted to pull the tooth and it was going to be around $ 600. Well, OK, the money wasn’t the issue, but I surely did not want to lose a tooth unless it was a last resort (Western Dental assured me that it was) so I decided to leave and get a second opinion.
That is where Dr. Wathen comes in to play.
On a recommendation from my Aunt’s friend I showed up here. He and the entire staff was very friendly, and he took some X-​Rays and gave my chompers a good examination. After making note of a few things, he suggested a deep cleaning/​scaling and some treatment. Yup, basically the same thing that Western Dental’s first dentist recommended except that Dr. Wathen didn’t try to upsell and push me into a costly tooth pulling.
He got busy, and did the job and guess what? To this day I still have the tooth. He SAVED it! For that, I am very thankful and I have been back several times for further maintenance work. I have finally bitten the bullet (see what I did there?) and I have also gone back to him to get braces, and he was great there too.
Being in the auto collision business it was described to me this way. Western Dental is like the Earl Scheib of the dental world. Oh hell no. Deal with a real professional and give Dr. Wathen a call.
