Eating factory in bellevue has closed, and transformed into Bluefin sushi in Seattle at the Northgate mall. More food choiices and better décor.

I’m glad this place is closed. We went here once, and once was all it took. Was kinda pricey for the quality, food was just alright, but worst of all is our entire party had really bad food poisoning! I’d never have gone back here anyway.

Can’t wait for them to reopen in Northgate in the fall:
I know there is great, heated, passionate debate about the quality of sushi buffets. Yet, the Eating Factory has a faithful following, and I have been one of them for some time. Sure, it’s not the best sushi I have had, but it’s darn good. Plus, there are more reasons to go than just the sushi. The crab legs and udon noodle soup, tempura, calamari, cold salads, etc all contribute to the experience. It’s worth it– and it’s causal and fun, and not pretentious. I’m only concerned about getting into the new location, named Daio, when it opens in the fall. The place in Bellevue was always packed.

this used to be my favorite all you can eat sushi in Seattle, but I went there Apr 2007 and they seem to have closed.

Are you sick of Todai? Or has Todai made you sick? Then the gig is up – you need to go to the Eating Factory. Just as cheesy as its name, the décor reflects the poor artistic skills you find in Asian restaurant owners.(Yeah, I’ve been to all of my aunties’ and uncles’ restaurants) But the selection is pretty vast for a price that’s pretty little. If you can’t figure out what to eat tonight, you can try this place. Oh yeah, when I left the place, some guy got a flat tire from parking his car in the grass parking lot.

I went there for a special occasion and this place wasn’t there. I had to find out from one of the Sprint store that they have closed down. The food there must be bad and dirty.

A pretty good todai style buffet with cheaper prices… at least 5 $ cheaper than todai. plus this place has oysters and more classic chinese faire than japanese faire. sushi is about the same as todai. there’s a soup station that serves udon only — so its slightly different than todai which also has ramen. also you’ll find more asian families here than at todai maybe since its bellevue or maybe ‘cuz its cheap. who knows?

Favourite seafood/sushi buffet. I think it has better selection than Todai(although it doesn’t have the crêpe corner). And it’s cheaper — $ 23 dinner vs. $ 30 at Todai. We always bring guests here. Small parking lot that can get full when it’s busy but we haven’t had problems.
