I’ve tried a few hot pot places and this place was one of my favorites. Coming into the restaurant it was pretty busy, but the wait time wasn’t to bad. I liked the fact that we get our own pot instead of all sharing one big one in the middle. The food was delicious, i also enjoyed the appetizers that they offered. The service was good also, they were attentive to us. I ended up getting a milk tea for dessert which i recommend.

I’ve been here probably about 10 times(if not more) in the past 6 months. Since coming here, I haven’t been back to the other hot pot places around the Seattle area(Boiling Point, Happy Cow, etc.) Swish Swish is an all you can eat hot pot restaurant. This place is usually packed during dinner time so expect a 30 – 45 minute wait, sometimes you could be waiting up to an hour. They don’t take reservations for under 5 people I believe. Service is a hit or miss. Once they serve you your first round of food, it’s hard to get their attention after wards. Some of the staff can’t speak English either so that makes it a little hard to communicate. The place is very clean, and the interior design is simple. They have about 12 different broths you can choose from, some of them will cost a dollar more outside of your all you can eat hot pot price(I’m not sure why) I can’t remember all the broths off of my head, but I’ve tried the Singapore Laksa, Japanese miso, Taiwanese spicy(3 stars), House onion broth, Rich curry, and a few others.. . The Singapore Laksa has to be my favorite though! It’s savory and a little spicy with a hint of coconut curry. Everyone at your table will get their own broths to cook your sides in, but you guys will all share sides. They give you a menu and a pen and you just tick mark whatever you would like. They have ramen, rice, udon noodles, clear mung bean noodles, and etc. to eat enjoy with your hot pot. Meats: luncheon meat(spam), sliced beef, sliced pork belly, sliced chicken, sliced lamb, beef balls etc. They are all frozen btw, don’t expect a lot of fresh poultry and seafood. Seafood: shrimp, mussels, fish tofu, fish ball with roe, fish ball, etc. Veggies: bok choy, napa cabbage, tofu, enoki mushrooms, corn, potatoes, spinach, lettuce, etc. They also have some appetizers that they offer with the AYCE hot pot like gyoza, chicken karaage, and a few others. Their dipping sauces are really good too, and they don’t charge you for it even though they say they do on the menu. I believed they used to charge you, but the last few times i’ve gone, they’ve been given to me. They give you a bowl, soup spoon, a ladle, and tongs to cook and eat your food with. I’ve tried some of their milk teas and must say they lack in that area but otherwise, I really do enjoy the hot pot here! I come here about once a week or so, haha. Service could be better!

Food is very good. Very tasty. The service is extremely horrible the last few times I’ve been there. I always think, «Maybe next time they won’t have such bad service» but I’m always proven wrong. Basically it’s enough to knock it down from 5 to 3 stars. the way that they seat is horrible. The last time I was there, they kept a table for 2 open for 15 minutes because one of them wasn’t there when they should have moved onto the next couple. You’re always looking for someone for water or to order more food, but they’re always none to be found and when they do come out, they’re servicing someone else and rushing back before you can say anything. it really is a mess service-wise. You’re also going to be spending at least 10 minutes for them to come around to get your check and another 10 minutes before they come back to drop it off. But the food is still good. So whatev. Just expect subpar service.

This is my first time coming here and I was really excited because of the reviews but after getting to try it for myself, I’m disappointed. For the price of the AYCE hot pot, it is not good at all. The only good thing is the meat. I ordered a Taiwanese spicy and it was THEWORST thing ever. My mom got the kimchi and she also did not enjoy her hot pot. I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.

I first tried Swish Swish about a week ago and have come here 2 more times since then. I am obsessed!!! Both times I got the all you eat option with Tom Yum broth, many many veggies and meat. I usually tend to go there around lunch time which is not too busy. The staff provides a casual vibe so you’re automatically relaxed with some hot food in your tummy. All you can eat is only $ 20.99 but make sure that you watch for additional charges that they apply to your bill. For example, Tom Yum broth is $ 1 extra which is not written on the menu but it is when you go to their website. Overall, best place to eat on a typical rainy day!

My wife and I love hotpot. It’s the perfect food for a cold rainy day. We get plenty of that here in Seattle. Next to Boiling point this place has become or 2nd go to for hotpot. It’s clean, fresh, fast, the décor is contemporary and did I mention it’s CLEAN!!! The place gets busy and it’s mainly asian folks there(which is a good indicator that its good) so go early.

Bright, clean and not stuffy when walking in. There’s a menu you can order from. Also there is a laminated menu sheet and a pen at each table. With that you pick ALL of your hot pot options. It has appetizers, broth, meats, noodles, veggies, and so on. You simply write down how many orders of that particular item you want. With that option it’s all you can eat for $ 20.99. I like how it’s individual hot pot and each pot has its own burner. On top of that you are able to control the temperature! Awesome! I got the taiwanese spicy and everyone else got the thai style tom yum. The taiwanese spicy was not great. It was very oily and didn’t have much flavor. I was able to trade that out for the tom yum. I’m glad i did. The tom yum was the prefect combo of sweet and sour. Everything was good and the veggies were fresh. Can’t wait to go back!

I thought this place was okay. We went with their buffet and got to pick all the items we wanted but I still think BP is much better choice. We got our food and drink right away but that the end of it. The servers didn’t even bother to come and refill our drink or check on us to see if we need anything else until we waved at them. All in all, its pretty pricey, and the food is okay in my opinion.

This place is a mixture of boiling point and little sheep Mongolian hot pot. They have ALLYOUCANEAT like little sheep. 1 $ cheaper here, unless you want to upgrade on certain soup then you pay a few bucks more. You can also order individual pot pot for $ 12.99 each. I ordered the house special and fiancé got the three star Taiwanese. I hated the house special, it was too sweet for me, but if you like the sukiyaki broth, then this broth is right for you, it tasted just like it. Taiwanese broth allow you to choose a spice level, 1 – 5, level 3 was comparable to the spiciness of the taiwanese broth at boiling point. It got a herby taste to it which I like, so I will come back for that broth.(This broth is one of the few broths where you have to pay extra for.) The only issue here is that I don’t think you get refills on your broth, but I can be wrong because I never asked. All and all, service was great, refills was fast, good amount of selections to choose from, and great selection on drinks.

I’m totally addicted to this place. A co-worker brought me here back in March? June? Pretty early this year, and at one point in time we came here every weekend for two months. No joke. I work nearby and would come during lunch here sometimes… I’ve also brought a lot of different parties here and they’ve all come here within the next week. Pretty funny. It’s like a curse or something! So the reason why I come here is because it’s unlimited!(Duhhhh) You can get as much meat, veggies, broth. whatever you want as much as you want. I usually get the miso broth, but the Tom Yum and onion are really good as well. So even though this place is my second home, I docked it one star because of the service. Service is extremely poor. You need to ask several different people, several different times for the same thing. I’m pretty much used to it, but for anyone else it might get annoying. I come here for the food, not the service anyway. If you come here before 5:30PM on a weekday, or anytime during lunch it’s not busy and the servers will be more attentive to you. Obviously when it’s more busy they’ll be more forgetful like any other place.

This was my first time ever having Hot Pot. I’m from Chicago originally and I came to Seattle to visit family during the holidays. We went to hotpot on a Saturday around 5−6pm. There was a wait already and our expected wait time was around 35 minutes. The rule at Swish Swish is that your WHOLE party has to be there to be seated. The 2 reservations ahead of us did not have their complete party, so we were seated within 15 – 20 mins of waiting. We all did the unlimited hot pot. I got the House broth with many vegetables and meat. Also with Ramen noodles. Everything was amazing. The broth was delicious and i loved that the burners were built in the tables. We received our food pretty quickly and servers would check up every now and then. It was worth the wait and I will be def coming back here the next time in the area.

Swish Swish is great if you want to build-your-own hotpot rather than a preset menu like Boiling Point. Even better is how there’s an all you can eat option, which include appetizers like fried chicken nuggets and gyoza. The gluttonous and cheap Asian in me approves! I was pleased at how fresh and well washed the vegetables were. None of it was wilted or gritty with dirt. Plus the portions were generous for all of the add-ins no matter if they were meat or veg. What I didn’t enjoy was how the hit or a miss the broth flavors could be. The Taiwanese Spicy broth was very grainy and a little bitter due to the large amount of Szechuan peppercorns in it. Lastly, be aware that seating for parties of 4+ people can be awkward since the booths only have 4 cooktops. So you’ll be stuck at the bar counter.

Highly impressed. We walked in around 7:15pm, there was about a 1 hour wait for a table. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our server. They were extremely thoughtful of my friend’s vegan lifestyle and carefully brought out her items separate from my meat. **Try their Matcha Milk Tea with tapioca.

I was skeptical at first but then I kind of fell in love. Maybe I was really hungry. I don’t know what it was but I really enjoyed eating here. The food was fresh as fresh frozen could be, and the service was pretty spectacular for our table. We had people coming and asking us if we needed anything every 5 minutes. The restaurant is not well suited for large parties and the bar looks a bit cumbersome but parties of 4 fit really well here. I think there were larger tables in the back. Anyhow, I loved the place and 20 bucks for buffet is not a bad deal. There is a service fee for parties of 4 or larger. I figure it’s ok, it’s just like a tip. Ill be back. I hope you enjoy.

In my opinion and experience, this is by far the best hotpot place in Seattle & surroundings area. They have a lot of options for broth, we tried the House Special Onion, Taiwanese Spicy, Thai Style Tom Yum, Rich Chicken Broth, & something Tomato broth… My favorite was the House Special. I liked everything else also but the Taiwanese and the Tom Yum do have a bit of the herbal taste or smell in it, so if you don’t like herbal, you wouldn’t like these two. Other than the ones we tried, they still have a few more options, which I will definitely try when I come back. Each person will get their own mini stove, and broth pot, and then you share all the sides such as meat, seafood, veggies, tofu, etc. This is an All-You-Can-Eat hotpot place and the food is delicious so make sure to starve yourself before coming here!!! Lol jk. But do come when you’re hungry so you can eat worth your money. Each person pays $ 20.99. Service is quick and friendly compared to other hotpot places I’ve been to. I like that. They also have regular Lunch and Dinner menus if you don’t want the all you can eat hotpot style. Definitely worth checking out and coming back for!

This place is an individual hotpot place. It has a nice modern décor with electric warmers built directly into the tables. They were pretty cool, except some of the buttons are a bit finicky, so it can be hard to change the temperature. They now have all you can eat for $ 20 /head. But their more expensive items cost a little extra. Their menu has a nice 3 step build your hot pot options. First you choose from some 8 different types of broths and the spiciness level. They have some unusual options like help and congee. Then you choose your protein, with the pricier ones costing a dollar or two more. You can get 50% more meat by paying a little more. Lastly you get to also choose your starch: a bowl of rice or noodles(thick or thin) to put in the soup. Overall not bad, but I enjoy communual hotpot more. GOOD * Congee — was pretty tasty, and they give you yau jau gwai(chinese doughnut) to put in too! MEH * Onion soup base — it has a mild onion flavor similar to french onion soup, it isn’t bad but doesn’t transfer well to the hotpot ingredients.

I came here for lunch with the girlies not too long ago. The décor was really modern and cute! I loved it! All of the tables were taken so we sat at the bar, which was fine. We decided to do the individual hot pots. I think I got the house broth which I did not like so I switched it with the laksa(which is curry based), and that was MUCH better. Our waitress didn’t give me any trouble about it which was nice. It was the perfect amount of food which was great and maybe too much veggies but maybe that’s because I’m not much a veggie person? The watermelon juice was AMAZING! It was honestly the best hangover cure lol. 100% watermelon, no water added. So addicting. I also ordered some chicken katsu to-go for the bae and he liked it. Nice, crunchy and flavorful.

I stumbled upon Swish Swish while dining next door at MonGa Café. I took a peek at their menu and was intrigued to find that unlike other traditional hot pot restaurants, each individual receives their own pot. I’ve dined here a couple of times and I always opt for the AYCE menu for $ 20.99. There’s an option to order a single meat pot(which comes with a side of assorted vegetables) for $ 14.99, but I think AYCE is a better deal when it comes down to how much I can eat… First, you choose your broth. There are about 10 different options, but my favorite is the kimchi broth. The meats and seafoods are fresh and of good quality — not frozen like other places! There’s also a wide range of veggies and other miscellaneous items(fish ball, noodles, etc) that you can choose from. I especially enjoy the beancurd sheets, Japanese ramen and fish/meat balls. AYCE also comes with unlimited appetizers(gyoza, chicken karaage, and/or fried chicken chop. I’m not much of a fan for the sauces… the house sauce is thick and has a strong garlicky flavor. Swish Swish offers remarkably fresher ingredients and you can avoid the mess of cooking/sharing food with your entire table. Sounds like a win-win situation to me!
