A year ago I frequented the Romio’s in Redmond, then I was physically threatened by their extremely rude staff. I never went back — but I mad ea point of ordering from this one whenever I visit my friend in Bellevue. Thankfully, the wonderful low carb«fromaggi» dish was even better here as they made it with chicken instead of meatballs, and the fantastic gyro salad was still loaded with gyro meat and yummy tzatziki dressing. It was worth the insanely long(1hr) wait time. I returned to Bellevue tonight and ordered from Romio’s again. There is no Fromaggi dish except the pasta one now. The greek salad did not have tzatziki sauce and did not come with Gyro meat — making it just a regular, overpriced salad. To add insult to injury, the(thankfully pleasant) woman at the store insisted that the menu has not been changed in 5 years. Even though I(luckily) specifically ordered tzatziki. sauce I had to insist she send the correct dressing or refund me before she would stop arguing! The only thing that stayed the same was the 1hr wait time. It was NOT worth it. Wow. Is this a Romio’s thing? At least the driver was yummy(he is REALLY adorable and nice too!)(The guy just brought my tzatziki dressing — different guy, but a terrific flamboyant character with neon patterned sneakers that looked like house slippers. Their awesome delivery people got them the second star). The«chef’s special» I did get was good(not fantastic) but for mediocre now overpriced food I can try one of the many other Italian restaurants around here — which hopefully won’t gut their menu! This is a first world tragedy!

Second time having dinner here, obviously the first time kept my interest but coming back I must inform you was a mistake. The pizza was way too greasy and 28 dollars. I left hungry bc I couldn’t handle eating the amount of grease, my stomach was starting to turn. BUT on the upside they have a really good pour for wine at happy hour! You’ll get your money’s worth there!!!

This place is amazing! I just ordered delivery and requested for 12:30 and it got here at 11:52. The delivery guy is very nice, but the food! It was amazing! I love Italian, their chicken eggplant parm is so full of flavor! I had to call them just to thank them again lol and the girl that answered was very nice and told me if I dine in the food is ever better… not possible. Great place, I give them a 10 out of 10.

I’ve eaten here a few times since moving to the area. Romio’s Pizza is actually very good if you can afford to pay their prices! The girl who rang me up for my takeout last time I went seemed like she would rather be anywhere else but at work, and barely made eye contact. I prefer service with a smile. If you can afford their prices and want good pizza, Romio’s is your place. If you just want a pie without spending a bunch of money, look elsewhere.

We absolutely LOVE this place! They have the best chopped salad I’ve ever had and the house calzone is a great balance of generous toppings and quality cheese! I hope the family stays in business for generations! They are very nice and deserve to be successful. My boyfriend and I are out here in Washington for only a few months and this place will be surely missed when we go back to Las Vegas. If you work there and are reading this… keep up the great work! :)

This place is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s soooo yummy and other times it’s oily, greasy, and just not worth«cheat day» meal. I ordered the lunch cheese ravioli with meat sauce and the sauce was literally ALL oil! It was soooo disgusting. I had to flag down one of the waitress(by the way, they all have no idea what they’re doing & no idea how to multi-task) and asked for marinara sauce and an extra plate. I don’t know if the meat sauce is always like that but I’ll never order that again.

Came here with My fellow runners after Ragnar NWP and fell in love, with the pizza. Awesome GF offers and service was most excellent as well. Would definitely recommend them:)

Based on the reviews I read here, I had low expectations for what this restaurant had to offer. To my surprise, you have the option to order your food online as take out. The process was simple and as soon as we arrived to pick up the food it was freshly made and ready to go! I shared an order of a calzone and lasagna. They are very generous with their portions. What really stood out to me was their delicious marina sauce! I couldn’t resist the urge to dip everything in it! Overall the food is nothing spectacular, but definitely worth it if you’re craving Italian food. :)

Food was great but unfortunately the service was awful. Can’t stand the snooty waitress. She was so rude & inappropriate. Don’t even think of touching the Parmesan cheese. The waitress will literally rearrange it for you.

OK, did this place change hands? We’ve been here so many times for a decent Italian dinner(so close to home!), but tonight — omg. Horrible. Staff all seems Russian, which is why I’m asking. Didn’t recognize anyone. Had the lasagna, which I’ve had and enjoyed so many times before and tonight — yuck! First bite was full of salt — no ricotta cheese — cheese on top looked melted but wasn’t. I had three bites and I was done. My wife has the spaghetti and the sauce was so sweet; she couldn’t finish, either. She left meatballs uneaten; for the carnivore that she is, this is remarkable. And the Merlot I ordered — so sour. Shame; was one of our places to go close to home for Italian. Not sure I want to try again.

Honestly for being delivery this place isn’t half bad. I’ve ordered pizzas here before, they come nicely portioned and hot when delivered. Ive also ordered a selection of pasta when ive been extremely lazy. The pesto penne with chicken and meatballs isnt too bad, and the portion is a fare amount. The Italian wings(again for delivery) is pretty good too. Better than giant pizza conglomerates but still is average. $ 1 delivery charge!

I am not a salad kind of guy, however whenever I can sneak in a trip to Romio’s, a salad is the only thing on my mind. Their chopped salad is the best I have ever had. Let’s start with the dressing– basil, parmesan, and ranch. Definitely some lemon too. I have tried to copy it without success. Fresh basil garnishes diced tomato, salami, garbanzo beans, mozzarella, grilled chicken, and tons of shredded iceberg lettuce. I literally had it for dinner last night and I’m ready for another. Their pizza is great too of course. I prefer it over Pagliacci’s in Bellevue or Tutta Bela’s in Issaquah. Great thin chewy crust and a perfect marinara ratio. Just discovered they do delivery for no additional charge!

I have been here every other Friday for three months since I moved back to the PNW– I get a Small Olympian Pizza– Its so good– Something about the dough that no other pizza can compare– Sometimes will get a half chopped salad also– Its pricey, but worth it in my terms. Its my weekly treat and love the dough and the pizza– Staff totally friendly and I call in to go, always ready on time–

Romio’s has decent pizza and pasta dishes, and even though my co-workers love their pizza, I’m just in «like» with it. Romio’s serves a great chopped salad, though. I’ve been on a chopped salad kick lately, and I was pleasantly surprised by the huge portion you get for the half portion, as well as the slice of garlic bread that comes on the side. Very, very good. I can do with or without the pizza and pasta, but I will definitely be back for the yummy chopped salad.

FOOD: Got a medium pizza(12″); half chicken pesto, half kickin chicken pizza. With added jalapeño. Generous on toppings. Flavor was not outstanding but it was decent enough. For a medium pizza it cost $ 16.95 which is a expensive for this location. This would not be my first pick pizza spot. I also came in after 3 which is their happy hour and got garlic bread sticks for $ 2. That’s a really good deal you say? But when it came out, it did not look like fresh garlic spread and there was nothing different about this compared to pre baked garlic bread from Safeway which i’m quite familiar too. $ 2 – 3 for a huge loaf at Safeway is a much better deal. Granted it comes with the marinara sauce which wasn’t too bad. I like how it had chunks of tomato in it. There is a lot of variety on their menu so I would try something else next time. SERVICE: There wasn’t many people dining in so service was okay. Our server Helen was nice and attentive. She was helpful and asked if our food was okay and if we needed anything else which is what a server should be doing. PRESENTATION: Usual pizza presentation. Casual dining. Dim atmosphere. Many tables, mostly booth style. LOCATION: Next to the Factoria theater that no one goes too. There is parking in its little lot. WOULD I COMEBACK: Maybe, but I would not go out of my way to come here. ADVICE: Skip on their garlic bread.(I actually prefer Pizza hut garlic bread)

Romio’s in Renton was my first choice, but they were out of red onions. Then I tried Romio’s in Georgetown, but they’re only open M-F. So I wound up going all the way to Factoria, but it was worth it. I called in for carryout, and they said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I figured that was about right for a calzone. It took me a little longer than 20 minutes to get there, and my food was ready to go. They seemed pretty busy, but the cashier was pleasant. The calzone is huge; it’s a good value for $ 10. There was tons of great mozzarella, and the red onions were nice and sweet. Getting gyro meat in a calzone was a mistake, though. It was squishy, gross, and I didn’t like the flavor, but it was easy enough to pick out. The dough was the perfect bread-like texture, and there was lots of good topping-free crust around the edges. Some parts of the crust were darker than I like, but I guess that’s hard to avoid if you’re going to cook it all the way through. Some of the edges were also a little too oily. I got hot & spicy buffalo wings, which also weren’t a bad price at 10 for $ 8. They looked a little burnt, but they tasted fine. They were a nice dry wing, not goopy or soggy. I tried sauce with them for the first time(Ranch), and I definitely recommend it for anyone who, like me, doesn’t want their wings to be too spicy. It really helps cut down on the heat. I may not be ready to end my quest for the perfect calzone here, but it did taste great.
