Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union

I thought we would try this we like local credit unions and have always used one. While the shared branch idea sounds convenient if you want access to a deposit you could be waiting up to 5 days, maybe more it has yet to be seen. We called because we did not know this was the case, it was never explained, they said they would reverse the overdraft fee but didnt. Thier only office closes at 4pm, extremely inconvenient when payroll doesn’t bring checks until 4pm and your only option is a shared branch which you deposit but have no access to your own money and again the long wait.
Update Wednesday: they did give me credit as promised. Of course not giving us access to our money has caused more heart ache and stress.
We have used 3 different share branch locations 2 were better than this credit union and one was equal (I review good and bad so you can see those too). I am surprised the bad share branch didn’t charge us to walk in the door. I was relieved to see most all the other Unilocal reviews were bad for that credit union. Seems like the co-​op would pay attention to that and disassociate with them. When you allow bad to continue for your customers by using them as a share branch that is a bad reflection on your credit union.
They told us our check deposited last Friday would be available today, wednesday, the day before thanksgiving, at the time we deposited it on friday… guess what??? Website says not available. My husband told me to run to an atm and check it and that shows it is finally available. To bad the website wouldn’t have showed this and saved us a half hour in traffic.
As we are new to this credit union if hope things get better. As someone told me once, when you hit bottom there is only one way to go unless you break the bottom out and keep digging.
Bottom line would I recommend this to friends and family and that answer would have to be no.
