Wow! Super fresh and tasty. As good, or even better, that I had in Chengdu and Ya’An.

Had lobsters and fish here. Amazing, taste very original Chinese. Not those type of «Chinese food» you eat in the us. If you are looking for those kind of «Chinese food» go somewhere else, but for those who loves the true Chinese food, this is the place to go. Although the«GongBao Jiding» is terrible lol

I LOVE frying fish. Whenever I’m craving really good Chinese food and I don’t want to break the bank by going to DTF, I come to frying fish. The restaurant is clean and the food is tasty. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, the service is actually good. The servers are attentive, friendly and helpful! The must haves: — Green Onion Pancake: Cooked so the outside is crispy and the inside is soft. The sauce that comes with it is a nice touch of flavor. — Spicy and sour wontons(i think thats the name): Little pork wontons that come in a flavorful sauce that has a nice balance of spice and vinegar. — Dan Dan Noodle: Noodles in a thick, spicy sesame sauce with minced pork. I can handle a lot of spice, but this dish is spicy! Even though this dish makes my tongue on fire, I can never get enough of this dish. — Szechuan Style Fried Tofu: These are like tater tots made of tofu with a nice kick to it. Warning: the red pepper used can numb your tongue. These dishes are just the foundation to the meal. I always try something new for meat dishes and honestly, I haven’t tried anything bad.

First of all, to people who complain about oily dishes, Chinese food are oily, get over it. If you want zero drip of oil, stay home and eat raw carrots. Secondly, this is a Chinese restaurant, so don’t expect stella service and check on you every 15 min. Usually as long as they don’t mess up my order and the food come out promptly, I’m happy. Now onto this place, I think they recently changed chef, so maybe the food was way better now. It is one of the best«spicy food» restaurant I’ve been to in Bellevue. Their appetizers are freshly made and you can go to the counter to pick and order. For main dishes, I loved loved the spicy dry wok fish(not sure if this is really the name and I forgot to take a picture before devouring my food), it’s not brothy, but the fish was very tender and spicy. We also got the string beans and eggplant, both were very well cooked and full of flavors. The service was decent, fast and efficient. No complaints there. I will be back next time I’m in town for the holidays.

I liked here the first two times I came. But the third time is very disappointing. There’s no way the fish we ate were live fish. After we packed home and reheated it, it was so smelly that we cannot even eat it. So we throw out the whole thing.

My friend took me here for their iconic frying fish, and it was pretty good. The fish was live, not cut and frozen one, which made it very fresh and soft. The price was not cheap though. The restaurant itself was decent and clean, very nice for family dining or business treatment. I think I would come back again.

Health Department should come inspect this place and teach the staff here how to handle food. I was just here for lunch and saw this waiter used his bare hands moving someone’s to go order from one box to another. Worse thing is he just cleaned a table and didn’t even wash his hands. Gross!!!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I can honestly say I was impressed… initially anyways. My girlfriend and I were craving Chinese food and decided to try out this restaurant. We chose this restaurant because the décor is nice, clean, and bright. Additionally there were a decent amount of people in the restaurant. However, any hopes for a nice outing with my date were quickly ruined by the food quality. I ordered the spicy lamb with«gravy». Upon receiving my dish I was shocked by the amount of OIL my dish was soaked in. The lamb was drenched, disgustingly SWIMMINGINOIL. My girlfriend and I left after taking a couple bites of our food and immediately decided to pay our bill and resume eating elsewhere. My girlfriend threw up outside of the restaurant shortly after eating the spicy lamb in OIL! *I visited this restaurant on Oct. 7th2015 at 7:00 P: M

I placed an order for takeout tonight: Spicy chicken wings & House fried rice. Their wings are scrumptious & totally out of this world! The fried rice was cooked to perfection with generous portions of beef, chicken & shrimp. Staff members are refreshingly courteous & friendly. They gave me hot tea(an entire pot, actually) to sip on while waiting for my meal to get ready! Who does that? All in all, a great experience. Bravo Frying Fish Restaurant!

Came here for the first time last night and was thoroughly disappointed with this place. After a weekend of camping I was craving for some hot noodle soup and decided to order the Spicy&sour pork Tripe noodle soup and cold bamboo appetizer. The husband ordered beef with garlic sauce and green onion pancake appetizer. literally within minutes from the time we ordered the beef and garlic sauce arrived followed by my noodle soup. Right away I noticed that it was not Tripe in the noodle soup but intestines. Meh ONE: I flag my waitress and reminded her that I ordered the tripe noodle soup and NOT intestine noodle soup which she went on to say that it was it. She pulled another waitress over to help her explain that it’s the right dish. The other waitress went on to tell me that they don’t have tripe noodle soup, only intestines. Then why does the two of their menus say Tripe then? clearly misleading. The two waitress then just stood there wide eyes and then walked away. Management, please have this correct immediately. Meh TWO: Our two appetizers didn’t arrived until way later. The broth to my noodle was not bad spicy with decent favor, however the more I eat the saltier it get. Finally it was way too salty to eat. Same thing with the bamboo appetizer, it was way too salty almost inedible. Meh THREE: By this time I just wanted to get my check and get the heck outta there. The waitress who initially wait us practically disappeared after the Tripe/Intestine situation. I tried flagging down this waiter who not only walked right pass my table but also looked directly at me and then proceed to ignored me. Took another 10 min before my original waitress noticed that we were waiting for our check. Service and food both Meh, I’ve definitely experienced way better. Two star because my husband did enjoyed his beef in garlic sauce.

Summary Nice decors but below average food and service. Improvement Recommendation — Better training in terms of service. It’d be nice to chat with the waiters and be attended to — Use larger shrimps in your dish and less batter. Aware this is a cost issue but personally I’m will to pay more for better quality stuff. — Hide the beverage refrigerators to better your decors. Felt like a lot of money was spent on the decoration only to be ruined by out of place appliances. Pros — nice decors — neutral smell Cons — lack of service — below average entrée I went there on a Monday around 12:30PM. First walked in and noticed there wasn’t anyone at the entry behind the host stand. Looked around and made contacts with several employees but everyone looked away. There was also no sign that says to seat myself. After a few awkward minutes, decided to leave and then someone finally came with menu on hand to help. The host randomly pointed at a table. Put the menu on the table and walked away. I looked the menu for a little bit, decided what I wanted to get and put the menu down. Two additional waiters behind me then walked away. Someone eventually came to get my order. Ordered their Shrimp in Hot & Chili Sauce that is on their lunch menu for around $ 9 dollars(tax included). It came with steamed white as a side and Hot & Sour soup as starter. The portion was good and not too much. Shrimp tasted under fried and overly battered. There was no crunch to the shrimp as if the shrimp was fresh. Will not order this dish again. Someone refilled my tea during the meal but did not give me a heads up. I was about to grab the tea kettle at the same time it was taken away from me. When it comes times to pay, waiter was very attentive. He set the bill on my table and looked to take my wallet out and put a $ 20 dollar on the bill. He grabbed it immediately. I left a $ 2 dollar tip and left.

First time here, tried the following: 1. Dan Dan noodles, not bad, probably the favorite dish for everyone. Noodles and sauce went well together 2. Sichuan fish. Fish was cooked well, plenty spicy. 3. Stir fried potatoes and jalapeños. This was actually my favorite dish. Stir fried in high heat. 4. Chicken wings, over cooked dried wings. Don’t bother. 5. Kao shing tsai. Little old. Overall, okay, better out there in Bellevue

Amazing interior décor. Very bright, open and clean! The fish is yummy, the dry pot is fine, but I love the side dishes personally. Oh, and the duck with vege is nice too. Servers is cool consider they have asked to change my full plate during dinning. :) definitely can give a shot on this fresh new restaurant. Btw: we saw a singer from China dinning here as well tonight ;)

Horrible dishes and bad services. Don’t ever go there, the person who order for you(the lady who speaks in «baby» voice, she is around 45−50yrs old) is really really really annoying. The dishes are horrible!!! The services is bad!!!

Came here for a family dinner the other day and upon arrival. Besides the nice ambiance and sweet servers, the food was extremely poor quality. We probably ordered a good 12 dishes and not a single one made me want seconds except maybe the sliced tofu appetizer. Do not order the corn w/pine nuts! It was literally a plate with a mountain of frozen sweet corn sauteed in butter with 8 pine nuts sprinkled on top. I was really confused as to why they served such a pointless dish. For the lamb dish, I was informed that the lamb’s texture felt artificially plumped and flavored. Overall, for the price the quality definitely did not fit. I definitely do not recommend.

I am not a Unilocaler, and this is my first review. It was so bad that I had to share with you, so you understand what kind of place this is. Management is the worst I’ve seen in Seattle, ever. If I could give negative stars, I would. Ordered a dessert of $ 5, they brought a can of something that is sold for $ 1 in ranch market. They do not even bother to pour it into a cup. We were expecting something they made, not a commercial drink that worth one dollar. We politely asked to take it off the order,(we did not even touch the straw), and we were speaking to the owner. He said«how can I do such a thing!».(worst rejection ever). We explained that nobody expected such a thing from a restaurant. He did not care. We then asked if we would count this as part of the tip, he said«if you dare, go ask the waitress». Impression: 1. manager/owner is extremely rude. 2. they rip off people by charging $ 5 for $ 1 you can buy from market 3. they do not care about their employee 4. owner does not care about customer. He does not care about you or me, and I start to doubt if he cares about food or anything, except for money We ended up leaving the can dessert there, with three dollar tip, because waitress was at least polite. Not even mentioning: 1. fish has scale on it… 2. we asked for boxing the leftovers, owner never gave the leftover box back to us… If you want to eat there, do not go If you want to work there, do not go

The Frying Fish recently opened in the Safeway shopping center, next to Wells Fargo. It specializes in fish and Sichuanese dishes. The food was of high quality and tasted delicious. The interior was well decorated and service was friendly. Our large group ordered 8 dishes. The bullfrog dish was very good(it’s called Frying Frog on the menu). Tiger-skinned bell pepper is also nice — not very spicy. We received a $ 50 voucher for spending more than $ 50 here tonight. This is a temporary promotion — not sure how long it will last, but it’s a great deal. Overall, we will definitely be coming back.

It is great that they have live fish instead of frozen. About $ 30 for a whole fish. Mostly tilapia and catfish. Safe for pregnant women. Expensive but they do prepare them well. The other dishes are also decent. Their code dishes can be a little expensive compared to other restaurants nearby that offer them. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Limited seating though. 12 small tables and 6 larger circle tables. Expect to wait a little when busy. One of the older female waitresses is very nice. Gave us advice on dishes and kinds of fish very patiently. It’s a great new place, but the prices will keep us from coming here regularly. Just special occasions. Also, be aware that this is another place where only Chinese people come to eat.

Came here during their grand opening. 1. Staff here are soooo nice! Women staff 2. Very clean and classy layout 3. Special spicy fish dishes come in big sizes but doesn’t have much taste 4. Lunch menu are cheap 5. Taste pretty good, the spicy fish was okay 6. Parking in front of the store So they made our order wrong and we told the waiter nicely but he wasn’t all that nice to us. He had no intention of wanting to take it back so we just asked him to take it back and remake. Other than that I don’t mind this place. And I will come back.
