Culver’s Butterburgers & Frozen Custard

I stopped into Culvers for the first time today for lunch. This place may have just became one of my top 5 fast food burger joints. The cleanliness and feel of the restaurant took away the fast food aura you get from other chains. Its has a comfortable feel as it seems the cashier/​ordering area is in a way seperated from the dining area. I tried the pub burger which was fresh and delicious with a side of fries that were piping hot out of the fryer. The staff delivering the food to my table was very welcoming. I topped the meal off with an awesome vanilla shake on the way out of the door. Great quality and fresh food in an amazingly clean restaurant will always get my business.

My favorite fast food burger and custard place. Being from the west coast, we do not get to experience the deliciousness of custard very often. This place is a good intro for those who have never had custard. Can’t go wrong with any of the sundaes or cones. The burgers are all great too.

Served raw fish. Told employee it was raw and they didn’t do anything about it!

I love their fries & diet root beer. I usually have cod or walleye. Just wanted something to hold me over til supper. The fish in the sandwich was tiny but good.

Culvers has been a favorite of mine since I was a teen and now it’s one of my kids’ favorites as well. The butterburgers are fantastic but you can’t go wrong with the pork tenderloin, fish, soups (broccoli cheese!) or salads if you’re feeling healthyish either. Those are a few of my favorites but I actually can’t recall ordering anything that wasn’t good.
Then of course the custard — super smooth and creamy. A special flavor everyday and an insane amount of topping combinations. I crave this stuff and have flavor alerts for my favorite flavors of the day on their app on my phone. :)

Culver’s is a nice change of pace from some of the other fast food chains in Bellevue. They have a variey of menu items although known for their Butter Burgers and Custard. The kids love their chicken strip meal. The reason I like them is it is clean, staff is friendly, food is fresh and made to order and the price is competitive. They make great burgers and good french fries (meaty krinkle cut fries), would like them a tad crispier but are still very good. Plus free refills on your soda pop. Often times I don’t think of Culvers because the buidling is somewhat remote on 36^th street by the Movie Theater. However, everytime I go I am generally pleased. Great place to go with the kids.

It’s rare for me to give 5 stars to a fast food place, but this one deserves it. I’ve visited this location over 20 times this year, and without exception, the service was friendly, accommodating, and attentive.
The food is about as good as a fast burger chain could conceivably get. Although they feature their burgers, those are probably the least appealing items they serve. Try a pot roast dinner for something special (okay, it’s not like home made, but for something you can get from a drive-​through window, it’s pretty remarkable).
This location is a popular stop for bicyclists on the nearby trail.

What can I say, I dig the food here and I really dig the frozen custard and their flavors of the day. On this visit we brought myself and 12 of my favorite family members. Everybody was happy with the wide variety of food and frozen custard we got. I will say everybody got a burger of some sort. My wife and I split the pub burger which was pretty darn good.(If you love cheese and bacon and grease like we do.)

Culver’s is a kid favorite. Free scoop of frozen custard with a topping with the kid’s meals. I enjoy the Culver’s Deluxe burger. Fries are okay, not outstanding. The custard is really good and the flavor of the day keeps things interesting. A good place to stop and grab a bite. Very close to the Twin Creek movie theatre.

Food: Just visited Culver’s for the first time with the family. Burgers were great; not too greasy and very filling for the price. The bun, burger, pickle, and ketch/​must all tasted very fresh. The fries were delicious and we had a salad that was great too.
Atmosphere: Restaurant was very clean and the restaurant is designed well too.
Customer Service: The cashier was very nice and informative. He made suggestions for our family to try since this was our first visit.
Conclusion: I heard they were famous for their custard, so we tried it… awesome custard! This will be our new go-​to burger restaurant in the area.

This restaurant is very similar to Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Steak ‘n Shake. That is, all three serve the same type of burgers along with an assortment of ice cream treats.
Their burgers are okay. I prefer their pork tenderloin sandwich or their fried chicken dinners. Fries are just okay too. Onion rings are pretty good. Funny enough, I don’t eat their frozen custard, so I cannot comment on it.
Outside of all that, it’s basically a fast food burger joint. So, tailor your expectations accordingly. It’s a little bit better than McDonalds or Burger King and also costs a little bit more too.

Food is pretty decent here, rate it much better than say your average fast food place. The service can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. They even hand you a number in the drive-​thru where you’ll have to pull to the side and wait.
Overall not bad, recommend it for a dinner. Burgers have a very good grilled taste. I also recommend the onion rings. They don’t fall apart or pull the onion out while you’re eating them.

Heard a bit of advertising from Culver’s ref their outstanding Cod fish sandwich and wanted to give it a try.
Service was quick at the register which provides you with a number to put on the table after which they bring out the food to your table when it is ready. Pretty fast overall.
Had the Cod fish sandwich value basket which comes with fries and a drink ($ 7+ dollars). The fish sandwich comes with tartar sauce, lettuce and shredded cheese served on a hoagie roll. Roll was fresh, but kind of thick. Fish was okay, not a whole lot of taste. Sandwich was average. Fries were crispy, but needed some additional seasoning. Also got an order of cheese curds ($ 3.49 for reg size) (really good) — course I could probably eat my weight in cheese curds.
Overall, not a bad place to eat, but nothing over the top outstanding either. Culvers also serves a variety of custard products, but still a bit too cold for that.

Love to pop in after a movie, or before sometimes. I love the fish baskets and sandwiches. I’ve tried the butterburger a couple of times. Tastes great but you can feel your arteries start to clog up with all the butter they use on the buns and burger. The staff is awesome, albeit very young.

This particular culvers is okay. It’s close to home and has great desserts! The food is good too, but sometimes a little bit on the oily side. The service is iffy, depending on what time you go there. It seems like the older people who work there are more customer friendly than the younger ones, but I guess that comes with the age group :) Great place to go after a movie since they open late!

My wife and I have been eating there for over 3 years. However, we came down with severe food poisoning; thank God our 1 year old didn’t eat what we did. The water in the Men’s room is too frigid to use in the winter. I don’t know how employees can wash their hands. Half the employees are rude or act like they don’t want to be there. If your a regular, they are annoying and make fun of you for coming so often. My family has not been there since we’ve been sick. Ice cream is good and food is food when it doesn’t make you sick.
