OMG. Even if I was offered Oprah tickets I wouldn’t step foot back in here. I brought in 3 pairs of my dad’s pants to get them altered. Couple days later I picked them up and took them back. After my dad tried them on to see if they were hemmed correctly he pointed out that his black pants had not been changed. At this point I wasn’t even slightly irritated. It just occurred to me it was probably an honest mistake. Boy, I didn’t see what was coming. I even walked in with a big ol’ smile. I politely explained to the lady at the front counter that it seemed they had forgotten to hem the black pants. She accused me of lying and trying to scam a free alteration. Smile, officially minimized. «Excuse me… what the… REALLY…#@$%» Wow. Now I still kept what was left of the smile on my face but that lady was just being straight ridiculous. I wanted to stuff my manners into one big bubble and burp it onto her face. I understand the economy going down the well and all but really… I can’t afford a pant alteration? Impossible to reason with I went back home defeated. But you see, my Papa Hwang doesn’t like rude people. Needless to say, dad came back home… with his pants altered. Take THAT lady
