On September 12th, I received my first laser treatment from Dr. O’Young with the PicoSure laser. She had previously been using the Revlite laser, and I have had pretty good results with that laser. However, my two tattoos have faded more in one treatment with the new PicoSure laser than I had seen in one treatment with the previous laser.

Dr. O’Young is always very friendly and professional. Because the treatment can be a bit painful, she took great care to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, and she checked in with me during the treatment to see if I needed a break. However, the PicoSure laser is less painful than the previous laser, and she was able to treat both of my tattoos without a break.

While i was seeing progress with the laser she was using previously, this new PicoSure laser is so much more effective, that I am excited and optimistic that these two tattoos will exist only in memory very soon. I’ll definitely be going back, and I’m eager to see how much it fades next time!

I was told that there could be blistering and peeling of my skin and I did have a small amount of blistering. The skin that peeled off actually had ink in it! I find that very encouraging.
