High Point Apartments

Okay, here’s an updated review. I’ve lived here almost 9 months now and am moving back to Florida. After spending the winter here I can say the insulation is terrible. It gets insanely cold and drafty when the temperature drops outside. But maybe I’m just too southern for Midwest winters. Also the walls are paper thin. The kids above us have two full grown boxers and they literarily shake the glasses on our tables ALL NIGHT LONG. Not good since I wake up at 3:30 am for work. But If that wasn’t bad enough, the people that just moved in next to us have two dogs, a rabbit and a cat. The cat and the rabbit are cool, but the two dogs bark nonstop. We can’t sleep for anything. I’m okay with people having dogs. But they need to be trained and you don’t need two 50 pound dogs in one apartment. I’m sure management would take care of it, but I never complained, So that’s not their fault. On a better note, the management is AWESOME. Super nice people and a pleasure to work with. If you don’t mind the noise, the price and the lack of a porch. This is a decent place to live. Oh! And did I mention how nice the management is?

Parking is a joke, 2 spaces providing your neighbor doesn’t have friends over then your screwed. People kept parking in front of my garage in the middle of the night and if I didn’t have such a tiny car I would have never got out. Management was fairly decent and attended to my problems as needed. The apartment was quiet below with the exception of being near a garage that had a motorcycle.
