Always clean and very nice food is always fresh! Can’t go wrong here they are very accommodating. Each server introduces themselves and write their name on the receipt Monday’s Veterans Day for active Veterans Andy their families! Good for al to know!!!

I was surprised at the large variety of delicious edibles at this Hometown Buffet! I don’t usually frequent Hometown Buffet but this was based off a patient’s recommendation and they’re word of mouth was on point.
Coming in, I didn’t expect much especially since the area is a little bit ghetto. However, I was proved wrong. Besides the fact that you could potentially eat yourself to death with unlimited and unsupervised portions, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the group of people I was with the the neverending selection of steaming to healthy foods.
This location had the generic salad bar along with a fruit bar. They also had an American-​style table bar and a Mexican table bar with unlimited chips, taco meat, nacho cheese, and pico de gallo! Unbelievable. That’s where they got me the most excited :)
The beef vegetable soup was pretty stellar and I loved the fact that dinner entrees were promptly served at 3:30pm. For dinner, they served a ham, roast beef, and steak that an employee gladly hand-​carved for you. Drinks included unlimited Icees, and Mexican drinks.
The dessert specials included bread pudding, salted caramel turtles, brownies, ice cream, and captain crunch rice crispy treats!
Overall, VERY friendly service from Erik and a very accomodating stay from Mina the manager :)
Love this place, will definitely come back to visit for their unlimited breakfast!

The people here are so nice and I highly recommended their breakfast. All you can eat egg Benedict and unlimited orange juice for $ 10? Sign me up anytime lol
Their breakfast is magnificent and has everything for everyone, any age. Pancakes and waffles for kids, fresh made omelettes made right to order In front of you for adults. They have these loaded hash browns that are to die for!

They do have a lot of kids running around but it is a family place and what are kids if not energizer bunnies? So it never bothered me personally but you can tell some people get irritated.

I have been to several HT Buffets in SoCal. While they were a novelty when they 1^st opened 20 years ago, they are pretty passé now. The Temple City store is full of Latino & Asian immigrants with dozens of screaming, wailing kids. Frequent smell of shit from dirty, unchanged diapers permeate some areas. The food is plain & unseasoned, probably in deference to the older crowd who can’t have salt. Always seems to be dirty & unkempt. Spills are untended for hours, trays are frequently empty. Not good…
The Bell store is the complete opposite… food is savory & tasty, staff are constantly moving, bussing tables, wiping down windows. The restaurant itself appears to be clean & orderly. I had a waitress who was delightful… pretty & helpful & courteous… her name was Chrystal. With her smarts, she’ll graduate to management if she decides to stay.
Try the Bell location… it’s gotta be the flagship if the Hometown Buffet chain! Well managed!

If you’d like to see the «eh, I’m just here for a paycheck» attitude, look no further. There was a good amount of people there yet nothing was getting restocked. The things getting restocked were mainly on salad/​entrée bar. The dessert bar was completely neglected and the more you walked by the less items there were. Eventually I went to get a soup bowl for ice cream. There was cut up meat with some tongs and a guest reached for the tongs. The older Hispanic female cook completely gave her attitude. «Please if you need anything let me know and I’ll get it for you. Don’t touch anything just let me know and I’ll get it» She just went on and on. Food was bland (which I expected) but of course as usual with a buffet there was variety. I went because my roommate has never gone and we had a coupon. If it weren’t for that I wouldn’t have gone. That’s despite the horrible service. Servers were pretty good though

hadn’t been here in a while, restrooms are filthy dirty, that’s not the worst part in my mom’s soup she found a fly; she told one of the servers and she almost claimed that my mom put it in there herself, so she told another server and she said oh no that’s little black stuff the soup comes with! WTF!!! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!! look for yourself…

I went for lunch there, it was crowded, but We decided to wait.
A girl called Kimberly helped us with a table and she was so friendly and nice.

I’m only giving this place a star cause I had to. This place SUCKS! The only meat they had was chicken of course the least expensive to serve. The side dishes tasted like they came straight from a box. Their serving dishes are always empty. Drink machine did not work, I could go on but I’m really just trying to leave this place. Totally frustrated and unsatisfied…

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. This place sucks big time!!! Came here because we got a coupon in the mail but it was a bad choice. The food sucks! They only have chicken. The side dishes taste like they were cooked 2 weeks ago and frozen. Their serving dishes are constantly empty and so are their drinks! If you read this please rethink your crazy idea to come here because it is not worth it… Not even for $ 5.99!!!

I’ve been to many hometowns before and this one was the best by far! Had a large party of 22 and we all fit confortably :) waitresses were very nice and took our plates immediately, also dirty tables were cleaned instantly.

I’ve been going to this location since I was a little girl and I’ve got to tell you all the truths. The food is good when you’re really hungry, if you aren’t hungry and are looking for really good tasting food, go somewhere else. The price sucks now. I went this past Sunday and my bf paid $ 13 for each meal plus $ 3.59 for each drink. They explained it was DINNER but it was 1:45 in the afternoon… That’s really upsetting since lunch is around $ 9. The place is not the cleanest but definitely not the dirtiest. Lots of kids there. Good deserts

Went there saturday with my family, food was ok. Bathrooms were discusting. Especially with having kids and taking them in there. ohhhh noooo. Manager was there flirting with a women, like man… clean the damm restroom or send one of your employees. will never go back

The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is a delight. The only thing is that you get full too fast. The cheesecake and tiny deserts are great.

Second time here and just noticed there are no Sugar-​Free options. Given the neighboring communities, you’d think they’d have an option for us.

One of the tastiest HomeTowns I’ve been to by far. Staff seems nice, place is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Food is fresh. Just wished they served organic, but for the 9 $ price tag for lunch, it’s excellent.

Food was great. The workers were very attentive. The only problem they run out of food to quickly and you have to wait for them to bring out more. But besides that the food is good and the deserts.

My favorite buffet restaurant it had great food and great service. Oscar was very accommodating and made the whole service worthwhile thanks guys :)

Crowded, smelly, and quality of food is so poor.
I came in for late lunch with my family and the food selection is very limited. I did not really enjoy it, I would’ve rather used what we each paid to go a different sit down restaurant.
