El Pescador

I live in San Jose and I drive 6 hours down south just to have dinner here at El Pescador! The price is reasonable for the amount of food you eat (Huge Portions!) love this place!

Still my all time favorite restaurant. Food its awesome and the ambience the best. The server are the best Roxy, Maria, Imelda, y Aracely. I go to this place every week. I highly recommend this place.

I came her once for lunch and returned for dinner within a a week!
Lunch:
Spinach Enchiladas plate
Very tasty! Just the right amount of cheese mixed in with the spinach, with the right amount of green sauce.
Rice — good.
Mixed vegetables — healthy
Loved having avocado slices.
Overall, very satisfied!
Dinner:
Fajitas plate — chicken, beef, and shrimp.
Tasty and as expected.
Also nicely prepared rice and beans.
Choice of flour or corn tortillas. Excellent.

The salmon was cooked well done and was a bit dry — maybe the expected style for this dish. I prefer moist salmon that is not cooked so much — Sushi style is best for Salmon.
Very comfortable booth.
Nice interior.
Service — GREAT. Friendly, attentive, and nice.
There is a buzzer too.
Overall the food/​service/​décor merits a 5.
OH — the alcohol drinks look fantastic!

Trying out their breakfast, ordered the chillaquilles with over easy egg. I have to say I was really disappointed and dissatisfied. The eggs came over hard, so they took the whole plate and fixed it. They could have left me the plate so the rest of the food would get cold :-(
The most disappointing thing was the beans!, they taste terrible, like they came out of a can… Disgusting! The chillaquilles had no cheese?; and they were mediocre at best. The rice was ok, it had veggies which I like, but not sure if it’s from a can as well. The coffee or (café the olla) was ok. The only reason for the two star instead of a one star was the chips and salsa, the salsa was perfect! Needless to say; I won’t be back for the Mexican food.

Food was good. Ordered a Siete Mares Soup but it costed $ 18/​NOT INCLUDING TAX. That’s CRAZY!!!

My family and I love coming here for breakfast yummy food good service yes it gets busy but worth the wait! Drinks are yummy and price is great. Most definitely a spot to have a great time with family and friends.

I’ve been to a few el pescadores and I just want to begin by saying this is one of the worse ones! I usually get the bacon and shrimp and end up not being able to finish it but at this location the shrimp were so small it did not satisfie my appetite my partner ordered agua Chile’s and he was disappointed as well his shrimp were very small, I suggest NOT ORDERING A MICHILADA they are not very good at all

This place was super good, we are from out of town. Angie our waiter was very attentive. Will be coming back every time we visit. I recommended.

Always good food as well as the service. Seated quickly, our waitress was named Amelia she was very nice and attentive. Ordered the Lobster and Shrimp plate along with a Modelo. Looking for a nice Mexican restaurant look no further than the Pescador in Bell Gardens.

Good place to have lunch on a Friday. no waiting time for us.

Don’t Eat here. It is a Chain Restaurant. I ordered the Nacho and it was disgusting. I took a few bites and had to tell management. My Friend had the Vegetarian Burrito and it has beans and I am sure they used Lard in them. And the veggies inside tasted Frozen. NEVER AGAIN! THIS NOT REAL MEXCIAN FOOD! But the staff were SUPER DUPER NICE!

First time and it was not a let down. The food is plentiful and delicious. The employees are very nice and attentive. The restaurant is big and has many beautiful Mexican art work inside. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here this morning around 10am. Very friendly staff. Their mimosas are delicious! !! Seemed like it was with freshly squeezed oranges ! :)
Food was also very good. I ordered chilaquiles w beans n rice. Salsa for the chips was perfect.

Went during lunch time on a thursday. Thankfully it was not as packed as I remember it on the weekends. We were seated fast and promptly. The staff is incredibly nice and considerate.
We order a side of guacamole which is served on a «tostada» that is bowl shaped. Tbh I would rather the authentic looking brown bowl, but it’s cool Im not going to die if they want to Americanize the look of serving guacamole like what you would find in pollo loco.
We also got the «Mar y Tierra» — «Sea and Land» which the portion was excellent because my mom and I were able to share this plate and even had leftovers. Disclaimer we may eat less compared to others. Plus let’s be honest we all get full with those chips n salsa served at the beginning (which were delicious) and they were not greedy on refilling them !
Btw their soda cups are YUGGGE! Like foreals order one and share with your s/​o hahah on the lowkey of course. Well we did but I don’t drink lots of soda because you know that anti-​gerd life.
Parking is available but take in consideration they share the lot with other businesses! And it may get busier with their popular days/​hrs.

Here for dinner cant go wrong with a tostada and a shrimp cocktail but super crowded 40min waitat 830pm and people still coming in. Music is blasting but I love this place so I guess I will wait. Late dinner with ear plugs.

I always have such an amazing time here. drinking and eating. This place is absolutely 5 star everything! I chose this place for my birthday and i will continuously choose this location because they always put a smile on my face.
They really know how to make you happy! So come and bring your friends and family!

Came to celebrate my sisters bday… had a large group of about 20 people. The wait was very short. Sat us down right away. Food was out quick and it was very good. I would definitely be coming back and will be referring friends and fam. Food drinks and mariachi! services was amazing. Thanks to everyone! See you soon.

De lo mejor
Food, drinks and service where beyond expectations, my dad took my sister and I for our birthday this past Sunday and we where extremely satisfied with EVERYTHING, mangoniada margaritas are DELISH. Our waitress was AWESOME I believe her name was Maria ‚

I was amazed on how clean the venue. From the windows, décor, floor and restrooms.

La comida es excelente el servicio por igual lo que sí está mal es que se engañe al cliente, hay una chica tomando fotos en las mesas y ofrece tomar una foto gratis lo cual ya se nos había ofrecido antes ya que somos clientes de por lo menos 3 veces por mes. Este viernes accedimos a la dichosa foto gratis y resulta que cuando las llevaron ya listas tenían un costo de $ 15.00 y $ 20.00 que sólo la postal era gratis es ahí donde existe el engaño por que no se balé que que abusen de la bondad de la gente se hace feo decirle a la chica no.
Por favor sean claros y digan cuánto cuesta el servicio de las fotos al fin y al cabo todo servicio cuesta hoy día.
