Nice people here. It was sweltering inside on the September day we visited, nothing «cool» about this spot at all. We received forks for our ice cream (they were out of spoons… an ice cream shop. Out. .of spoons.) and sadly the «salted caramel» ice cream tastes like vanilla ice cream with a slight hint of butterscotch flavor. It’s almost white, nothing salted or caramelly about it. I’m sure the owners are great folks but this shop seems to have given up, if it ever even tried at all. I’d take a pass if I were you.

Honestly, the gelato/​ice cream is mediocre. However, the person I’m assuming is the manager is one of the biggest jerks I’ve ever seen. They ran out of one of the flavors. Not the end of the world. However, he starts «looking» by throwing stuff around, cursing quite loudly, and yelling at the cashier. He could have simply offered a refund or an alternative flavor. No. Instead he decides to yell at the girl and say, «Just give them a f-​ing refund.» Everybody in the store was shocked, including a young child. Obviously, we will not be returning.

Bordered between two and three stars and went for the three because they’re the best in the area.
Maine blueberry crisp was good but pretty sweet, salted caramel was okay but not life changing, and the marscapone pistachio caramel was fantastic.
Why three stars? Only one of three flavors was really any good and their espresso was actively pretty bad. If you’re in the area in the mood for ice cream, they’re fine but make sure to taste test your flavors first and skip the espresso.

The ice cream was good, but the service was terrible. Upon entering, one of the staff members instructed us (very rudely) to «close the door because the AC is on.» Service continued to be poor, which unfortunately tainted the experience for us.

Leesburg, VA
They’re open later in the summer than advertised, so don’t be scared away by these incorrectly listed hours. My guess is that the hours change with the season.
I would like to tell you how funky and fun this little ice cream shop it, with their WiFi and their delicious homemade ice cream/​coffee. They even have board games, books, and cutesy Maine stuff. Hope you enjoy it!
