Nice intimate spot, pricing is good if you like wine. The lighting could get a little dimmer but nice place with good wine!

Our 4th visit…/Friendly, quaint place, thoroughly enjoyed the different Texas wines!!! my favorite bottle was the«Fight night» by legato. We loved the smoke Gouda dip and the meat and cheese trays… After some awesome wines we top it off with wine infused ice cream it’s a must try and take a pint home with you. The owners and operators here are great, very helpful to your palate not to anyone else, each person is different and you can see that on there recommendations. Also got to meet and talk the owner ofRed Road wines he even autograph the bottle for our friends, made it an awesome night and a great 12th anniversary for my wife and I.

This little gem is fantastic! You must stop by and enjoy some wine or wine ice cream! The staff is fantastic, dog friendly, and the cheese is yummy. What more does a girl need?!

Best place ever! Wine and wine-infused ice cream — two of my very favorite things. This place is wonderful for a girls’ night out or a special outing. The staff is very pleasant and the place is very cozy! Loved it! And I will be back!

Who knew there were wine bars in HEB, apparently not me. This place is inviting, love the staff-super friendly/layed back-cheese trays are priced fair. Wine options are very good. Next time we will try the wine icecream. Yes, i said Wine IceCream !! Cody the dog is a lover. Only drawback — there isnt a courtyard/patio. We will be back.

This is a great location to wind down with a glass of vino! It’s one of those spots that if you blink you’d definitely miss. I’ve never been a huge fan of Texas wine but Silver Dollar is quickly making me change my mind! I am so glad that they are making their presence known in Bedford. Mid cities of all areas really needs more venues like this. Love their merlot and if you want something of the lighter/sweeter variety try out the Roosevelt rosé. The tastings are a great way to check out everything they have all across the board and they also do a HH. There are cheese boards and items to snack on as well. Bring friends or even great on a low key date night! I can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu.

My experience here was true to the Unilocal reviews! I thoroughly enjoyed myself between the wine and wine ice cream that I was even more excited about. I started with a flight of sweet wines(I prefer sweet)– the first five Silver Dollar sweet wines listed on their menu. They were. ALL. SO. GOOD. Not overly sweet or heavy or syrupy, but perfect sweet wines IMO. I’ve done flights before where I may have liked 1 or 2 and the others were blah or not up my alley. This is the first time that I’ve had a flight that I liked all of the wine selections! After my flight, I got a glass of one of the wines and took a bottle of another with me. I was given samples of the wine ice cream and I chose one in particular for a full scoop. My «bartenders» Linda(?) and Colleen were awesome! They chatted us up, made us feel welcomed, just amped our experience on another level. Great wine, great company… AND we ordered the meat and cheese plate. It’s not ultra posh, gourmet meats and cheeses, but it was perfect to balance our sweet wines and our stomachs. The flavored dip and crackers. omg, I’m a total fan! Please don’t ask which wine was my favorite or which ice cream I particularly liked, just know I had an all around awesome experience and that I liked my wines so much that it nicely ruined the rest of the activities for the day, ha!

This is an intimate atmosphere place. Good service reasonable prices. We really enjoyed talking with the owner. The cheese tray was good as well. I do recommend it for a weekday evening or Sunday afternoon.

I came here on Casey’s first Unilocal party. I love this winery! Who knew Bedford could have something so cool? The winery is so adorable on the inside and is actually bigger than it looks from the outside. The atmosphere is very laid-back(as a wine bar should be) and cozy. Perfect spot for a date night or GNO. My favorite wine was the impeached wine named after Bill Clinton. It was sweet and fruity but not too sweet. I also liked the Bella Rose wine. The food was so good as well! Loved all the dips paired with crackers and veggies. I’m looking forward to making Silver Dollar Winery one of my new favorite spots!

I don’t have a lot of experience with wineries. Nor do I consider myself to be very sophisticated when it comes to wine. I have however consumed a fair amount of wine in my time, wine of all colors, though in the past few years I just stick to the reds. Which is what I did tonight. I tried tastings of the various reds and all were agreeable. I also tried a port. The port was sweet and I thought OK if you like sweet ports. I did finish with a full glass of the Silver Dollar Merlot(I forget its exact name), which was my favorite from the tastings. Silver Dollar Winery is a cute place. It has several seating areas, including a back room that seems ideal for small groups(or meetings). About the only thing missing is outdoor seating(unless I missed it, out back maybe?). The winery fronts on a rather busy street, and while it has a bit of a porch, I can’t see that as a seating option, but maybe. As I was leaving I noticed a display for wine ice cream. I see from the website it’s available«by the scoop» for $ 2, or $ 7.50 for a pint( ). Eight options to choose from. Need to keep that in mind for a future visit. Bottom line: Definitely worth a look, and a sip, especially if you are lucky enough to live nearby.

So I love my home town. I do! I really really do! I feel like we are the last little somewhat small town area left in the metroplex that isn’t touristy(like Grapevine), so I LOVE when we get a cute quaint, mom and pop owned place. ANDWHENTHATPLACEISWINE?! Holy woah, I am in HEAVENYA’LL. Silver Dollar Winery sits right next to the Bedford School House and the old Bedford water-well. My pretend country girl, old fashioned heart loves everything about it! I have driven by Silver Dollar Winery several times, but just haven’t had the chance to stop in yet. Its been around for several months now, and it is just the cutest thing ever. Its owned by Bedford residents Richard and Melanie, both of who I met yesterday. They’re friendly and welcoming, just like their little wine bar. Cindy, another bartender who helped wait on me said several times«we’re all family here», and that’s really what they treated me like. There were a couple of regulars there, who the owners knew my name, a couple having a wine tasting and using a Groupon(I’m storing that knowledge away for a rainy day!), and myself. I had good conversation, good snacks and REALLYGOOD wine! There are cute little wine barrel tables, or a bar you can sit at, WiFi if you need to work and a little boutique through out the shop that sells wine goodies– toppers, aprons, cocktail napkins, cutting boards… cutesy things! You can order wine by the glass, or taste by the flight, or take home a bottle of your favorite. ANDTHEYSELLWINEICECREAM!!! I didn’t taste it, but I just feel with wine and ice cream you cant go wrong! They also have a selection of snacks, particularly homemade dips that Melanie makes herself.(I know because I asked!) Can we just talk about the Bacon Blue Cheese dip? A smooth, super hearty cream cheese dip with blue cheese crumbles and bacon bits, served with large dipping crackers, and garnished with a mixture of grapes. I didn’t even need dinner! It was amazing. I had one glass of the Texas Legato Family Reunion… a Merlot, Malbec, Cab Sauv, Verdot, Sirah blend. Crazy huh? I went out on a limb there, thinking it might be a bit heavy for me. But it was perfect for the chilly day, and warmed me right up! I think i’ve found my new Tuesday afternoon«office»…

We’ve been trying to get by here for a month, and it was worth it! The tastings are a generous pour, and Cindy is a gem of personality. Not only did we buy a few bottles to take home, but we joined their wine club. All Texas wines and felt good to support local business.

Went there with a groupon and had a cheese/meat platter, flight of wine and wine ice cream. I really liked the ambiance, having wine barrels serve as tables is a neat idea and the wine was good. The owners and server were nice as well. Certainly will be back for another flight of wines or just a glass of wine! Now, why didn’t I give 5 stars… We tried the Riesling, sparkling and strawberry, spice and chocolate Cabernet ice cream. Spice and the strawberry ice cream were the best, but honestly none of them tasted like wine? Don’t get me wrong, they tasted good but just expected more of a wine taste. The cheese/meat plate was also not what I expected. It mentioned Genoa salami, prosciutto, port cheese etc. and the meat and cheese were sliced ham, roast beef, pastrami, pepper jack, cheddar etc. similar to what you get at any supermarket deli. You can get these meats and more special cheeses even at Aldi for a fairly cheap, so I expected a bit more here. So next time, I’ll just stick to the wine(which would be the primary reason for coming here anyway!). To the owners: Maybe consider offering complimentary crackers when tasting different wines to clean the palette :)

Such an exceptional winery. I’ve been to a lot of wineries, but this one exceeds all standards. The staff was friendly, engaging, and helpful and the wine was not only delicious, but also fairly priced. The ambience is relaxing and has a rustic charm. There was a wide selection of wines, meat/cheese treys, dips(the smoked Gouda and the raspberry chipotle dips were delicious) and not to mention the WINEINFUSEDICECREAM! Chocolate Cabernet, Cherry Merlot, Riesling, Port, Peach White Zinfandel, and Raspberry Chardonnay were just a few of their wine ice cream flavors. I strongly encourage others to visit this place and support this local business!

They have WINEICECREAM!!! The Port and Chocolate Cabernet were so delicious! The Port is more like lavender, on the subtle side and chocolate is pretty self explanatory but it was one of my favorites. We had the cheese and cracker plate with a flight of wine tastings which was great because it was during happy hour.

We were at a nearby restaurant, Café Sicilia, and found that it was a BYOB type. A friend who had visited Silver Dollar Winery said lets go get some, only a short distance down the road. We immediately headed to the Winery. What I found there was a fantastic ambience and settings. We found round tables seated with two to four persons in a seating area. Our wait was limited as the friendly staff came to us at the counter and engaged with us as we defined our needs. We did not have much time there. I did notice that pricing was reasonable for what we purchased. As we left I guaranteed that I was coming back.
