2 hrs massage — completely relaxed. Great way to end a busy work week. Never had a bad massage

Amazing service, the massage was so relaxing and there was no pressure to become a member although it was recommended. I will definitely be back! Thank you

I was a member for more than a year with 41⁄2 hours credit that they wouldn’t honor unless i contiuned paying. Make sure you understand their terms before you sign up for a membership.

Pretty disappointed with this place lately. I have been a member for a while now and usually go 1 – 2 times a month to get a massage. The last few massages I have had, I have had a few problems. First off, the massage is suppose to be «an hour» long. Well this is clearly false. When you check in, they bring you to a seating area. The therapist usually comes a few minutes after the appointment and then they bring you to the room and talk about what you want done. Then the therapist leaves so you can get unchanged. Then, the massage finally begins after about 5 – 7 minutes. Yesterday, my massage started at around 2:05 and ended up 2:50. So the massage was only 45 minutes long. I think this is ridiculous. It is pretty cheap here so I guess you are paying for the quality. Another problem is that I have an elevation and I get hot stones. The only time the therapist used the hot stones was on my back. So I am paying 20 dollars more for then to use the hot stones for 10 minutes? That’s crazy… they should use the hot stones all over my body. Lastly, I asked the therapist to do some stretches at the end. The massage was over and I asked if she could stretch me out and she goes«sorry we don’t have enough time». Well first off you ended 10 minutes early and that’s what I specifically ask. Bad customer service. I would rather go to a place that is a little more expensive but you actually get the full hour and has better service. I am thinking about deleting my membership because I am getting annoyed here. Bye bye massage heights.

I was a memeber here for over a year. paying $ 50 a month, plus $ 10 – 15 for a tip for an «hour massage.» I was always taken into the room late, and they always ended early, which resulted in a maybe 40 – 45 minutes massage. There were only a few people there like actually gave a good massage, Julie and Liz. There were so many dubs, when I would be getting a massage I would literally contemplate asking them to stop so I could just leave. I canceled my acccount with them, and OF course they said they had to bill me another month because that was the policy. I recently called to scheudle my last appointment because they charged me $ 50. They said it had expired and they emailed me to let me know. I never received an email, and I asked for a manager to call me back… which they never did. So I am out $ 50, plus hunfdred more due to poor massages. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Pay the extra 10 – 20 and go to a real spa for a relaxing or deep tissue massage.

Okay so where do I start. Christmas. For Christmas my lovely oldest daughter bought me and my fiancé each a 1 hr introductory massage with 10min hot stones, and she included $ 10.00 gratuity for each of our massage therapist. We were thrilled because we were members once before-two years ago, and have wanted to go back, but never got around to it. We were excited to have an opportunity to return. The Friday after Christmas, I made the appointment for around 1 or 2 in the afternoon of New Year’s Eve day. I gave them our full names and contact information without any problems. I hung up and was excited about our pending appointments. Unfortunately we needed to reschedule our appointments due to a conflict with a scheduled business call Tuesday late afternoon. Just as I was about to call Massage Heights on Saturday, Massage Heights called me to say we were not eligible for the introductory price because we were past members. I explained it was a gift and asked why wasn’t my daughter told when she purchased the massage packages. She gave them our names when she purchased the gifts. Each of our names were written on the envelopes of our small gift card envelopes with the words ‘1HOURINTRODUCTORYMASSAGEWITHHOTSTONETHERAPY”. The rep didn’t seem to care. She focused on trying to get me to sign up as a member again. I was told that unless we signed up as members a minimum of 50 – 60.00/month each, we would have to pay the difference for the service my daughter gifted us. I was livid. I went back and forth with the MH rep for a few minutes, and she then offered to let us have our sessions for an additional $ 20.00 each-another $ 40.00. Frustrated, furious, and disgusted, I accepted. That whole telephone exchange left a very very bad taste in my mouth, and I didn’t want to go near the place. However, because my daughter, made such a lovely gesture and financially a very generous gift to us, and my fiancé really wanted a massage, I bit my tongue and rescheduled the appointment the following Saturday after New Year’s Day. The day of the massage, I didn’t want to go. As I was sitting in the store filling out their take in sheet, I wanted to leave, but I didn’t want to disappoint my fiancé or daughter. When we were brought to our room, the room was rather cool. I remember it being much warmer when we had our massages years ago. I hated getting undressed. My massage bed took a while to warm up. Yikes more cold. And my massage therapist, although very nice, her hands were FREEZING!!! OMG! After ten minutes I almost called it quits and told her to stop. I couldn’t take it anymore. I kept hunching my shoulders from anticipating her cold hands on my back and limbs. Consequently when she applied the hot stones-YIKES!- it felt like I was being scalded by their heat. I felt like was in a Saturday Night Live skit. If Chevy Chase came in, i would have been okay and laughed it off, because the experience thus far, felt like a joke. Fifteen minutes later the room was still cool, my massage bed still luke warm and thank the heavens the hot stones warmed her hands! Nevertheless every time she peeled back the covers to massage my back, arms, or legs, I was exposed to the cool air. Thankfully after about 35minutes the massage was over. When the therapist left the room. I looked at the clock and realized we didn’t really have an hour massage. We were in our room and on the table around 15 mins after our scheduled appointment was suppose to start. When we came out of the room my massage therapist informed me, «You have very tight shoulders(All thanks to your freakishly cold hands) you need to see me for the next two months». Yeah, right. Like that was going to happen. Needless to say I couldn’t wait to get out of there. We then proceeded to the payment portion of our visit. I gave them the gift cards, hot stone certificate, and we forked over another $ 40.00 plus an additional gratuity on top of the $ 20.00 gratuity my daughter gave them when she purchased our gifts(that got eaten up in the recalculation of our non member massage cost). Once upon a time I really liked this place. We first went to Massage Envy and was bombarded with the heavy, cram it down your throat, sales pitch after your massage. The badgering undid the relaxation we got from our massage and we never went back. When Massage Heights first open it was a very peaceful and relaxing place to go to. We happily paid for a six month contract for two people. It was the complete opposite experience of Massage Envy. Now, unfortunately, Massage Envy and Massage Heights are bookends. I would never set foot in either place. I had a similar experience Stephanie S. wrote about with regards to the selected massage therapist cancelling on you, and their aggressive behavior as far as getting a dollar bill out of your pocket. I told my daughter everything and not to ever buy gift certificates from MASSAGEHEIGHTS again. We’re never going back.

This is very sad to say but I will no longer be going here. The only therapist I liked is Zach. He is wonderful. My last appt I had made I had to call early that morning because I was called into work last minute. I understand that time is valuable, however when the front desk answered and I explained my situation and called as early as possible(not an hr before)! I was told that I will be charged for this service. I did not feel this was fair and explained my situation. She told me nothing could be done and that I will be charged for the service. I understand it was only $ 30, but its the principal. She did not want to hear any explanation and as I informed her I wouldn’t be coming back she continued with her smug and unprofessional attitude. Sorry to say that they lost a client over $ 30, and when I did end the call I was immediately charged out of my acct! I work for a spa and salon myself in Boston and needed somewhere in nh to relax and we would never treat a guest like this!!!

Definitely the most professional deep tissue massage i have ever had. Highly recommend Julie, Larae and Jeff for deep tissue. Good deep tissue massages to ease sore muscles after a work out. Subsequently took mum, another massage consumer who agreed it was the best massage ever.

It has been a year now and Massage Heights still has not refunded my money. They promised to refund my money if I asked Unilocal to remove my negative review. Asked Unilocal, but still have not received my money. Was contacted by owner, though, who had a sob story. Very poor service, besides. Buyer Beware.

This place was alright. Its not like a spa, so dont expect a place to relax with s terrycloth robe and zen music and a glass of cab sav. Its a corporate business, and you do get that vibe from it. The pricing was reasonable for an hour-long massage. I’ve visited twice and enjoyed both massages. I was a bit disappointed to see my second massage end ten minutes before my hour was up — sure, I got a good rate, but it was a good rate for an hour-long massage. When you’re a single mom, every minute of having your back rubbed is golden. I will say though, I did enjoy the massage rooms themselves. Sheets seemed clean and comfy, music was good, and aromatherapy was offered, I may have returned anyway, except for they offer a membership with a monthy rate that as a single mom I just could not justify, so I politely declined joining when approached in the lobby after my massage. The woman(ahem, sales woman) absolutely would not take no for an answer and pushed me so hard to please join that I just felt too uncomfortable and annoyed to enjoy my after-massage relaxation. I think from now on I’ll just stick to the spa.

Pretty standard massage place… and, yes, this is REAL massage! My wife and I decided to go here and had a good experience, with good masseuses. Not too expensive either. We decided to join and have enjoyed a massage a month for most of the year. Would definitely recommend.
