I started taking Pilates with Rachel a month ago. She’s an excellent teacher! The studio is very nice. Live long Pilates is one of best Pilates studio in the area!

I’ve never been into classes or any group stuff but this is great! After multiple injuries and surgeries, I was looking for something to strengthen my core and get my injured limbs back in shape safely — Rachel’s class was perfect. The springs allow you to personalize the routine for your body while Rachel makes sure that you keep proper form to get the most results and don’t hurt yourself.

I had heard about the amazing benefits of Pilates for years and was always curious to try it, but I felt intimidated by the machines. After going to classes with Rachel, I wish I had started sooner! Rachel fosters a very inclusive and relaxed environment in her studio. She’s super knowledgeable and very encouraging. The classes go by really quickly — it’s actually worth getting out of bed on a Saturday morning! It’s challenging, but low impact, so you feel great afterwards.

Having just completed my 30th private session with Rachel, I cannot say enough wonderful things about her, LiveLong Pilates, and Pilates in general. I am 63 years old and feel stronger and straighter than I have in years. I am devoted to Rachel and to Pilates. She is precise, encouraging, knowledgeable, and patient. The studio is lovely and I am hooked!

I had the pleasure of taking the group reformer class with the owner, Rachel, on a wintry Saturday morning. The reformer equipment is something that requires some description to use, and Rachel is extremely adept(and funny!) at explaining the goal of each exercise, how to use the equipment, and can also make modifications to the exercised tailored specifically to your need at the time. During this particular class, I was nursing an Achilles strain, and not only did Rachel provide alternate exercises to cater to my injury, she incorporated exercises that helped stretch and felt great! As if that wasn’t good enough, since Rachel knows I am athletic, she also modified and brought up weights for exercises to ensure that I got a workout. Boy, did I get a workout! The studio itself is very clean, bright, and very inviting. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Overall, absolutely fantastic experience!

I have been doing Pilates since 1998 and have worked with Rachael at Live Long Pilates since I relocated to the Boston area. I have had a number of great instructors over the years, but she is one of the best. Every session I feel like she has worked on some body musculature that has been dormant for far too long! Each session is rigorous but safe for my body. For anyone new to the area or people that are unsatisfied with the results you are getting at group classes at areas sports clubs, I suggest you check out her classes and or her private sessions… a great way to get strong and back in shape.
