Wet Willy’s Route 43 Autowash

I was interested in a touch less car wash closer to my home. I decided to check this one out yesterday since it is directly on the route from home to my office.
One must realize the limitations of all similar car washes in that they are great for blasting salt off, but often don’t get all the dirt off the car. I typically therefore use these washes to get the worst of the salt off, then do a good hand wash at home. I’m just anal like that with my car’s paint.
With that intro stated, let’s review!
This wash is on a one-​way major road between highways. Access is thus a little tricky. Once there, the wash offers several self-​wash bays and the automatic touch less wash I was interested in. The wash accepts credit cards – a big plus for me since I almost never carry cash anymore.
The $ 10 and $ 12 washes offer chassis/​underside washes, a must for salt removal. There are cheaper options as well. I chose the $ 10 wash. They use a Water Wizard automatic touch less wash. The cycle is three minutes, then 60 seconds of drying.
I must say that the results of the wash are better than the laser wash I was using across town. Far less residue leftover in general, and that limited to the very rear, at the bottom. Dryer time is never enough at these facilities IMO as I don’t take a towel to the car immediately after, to avoid scratches.
In short, this automatic touch less wash is better than others I’ve tried and since it’s so close to home, I’ll be back.
