Worst hardware store in the area, tried to return a defective product was told it was eligible for refund /​exchange asked to speak to manager was told he couldn’t be bothered just left the defective item at the store. Will have go to Orchards they understand customer service.

I have zero idea how Home Depot does not go bankrupt, they have junk products, terrible customer service and awful install people! I bought severs items online for store pickup and they always get it wrong and I had to come back a day later, they installed dishwasher wrong, the list of disasters goes on and on with these losers!

This is your go to place if you want to DIY things to your preference. Have a little dash of confidence and skills, you’ll be able to achieve what your goal is.
They got you from hooks to even books. From wood planks to things that can be used to shank and build a bank.

Gotta love that lumbar smell as you walk into the store! Apart from that, service was friendly and helpful, and there is great product selection. I’ve always found what I’ve needed at Home Depot.

Had a poor experience with Home Depot Interiors, which was sold to me from this store.
The sales person was NOT transparent and spoke in generalities regarding price. Felt like price for remodel was based on percentage of home price and not on actual materials costs.
Getting a price breakdown was like pulling teeth. The services for counter-​tops and
new cabinetry was significantly overpriced in my opinion, and we had several issues with the installed product. I’m giving them 2 stars because they were willing to replace a granite segment that we did not like.

Super nice… found the grill cover I needed! Didn’t think they had grill accessories. An extremely helpful checker named Jess saved me from having to find those on my own and it was really easy shopping there. The only down side is that you really, really have to be careful in the parking lot… it is set up terribly and easy to get hit in.

It’s a Home Depot. Layout is fine, selection is fine, prices are ok. I’m always glad it’s there when I need it, and I’ve had some helpful staff take care of me. I don’t ever enjoy shopping there, but it is what it is and they do it well.
I’m giving them 4 stars although it’s really a 3.5 experience. I recently ordered some stuff that they will assemble and deliver. Depending on how smoothly and timely that is, I’ll keep the 4 or drop them to 3.
Have been back a couple times since. They really are super friendly and helpful here. They fully deserve 4 stars.

If you really like Hunter-​Douglas shades/​blinds but can’t afford it for your whole house, do not worry. The company makes a line called myblinds, a more affordable version of their expensive H.D. brand. And it’s exclusive at Home Depot. With a 25% off special that Home Depot has, I got 7 large windows, top down/​bottom up, semi opaque, honeycomb blinds for under $ 1500. That would’ve been $ 5k+ for H.D.

As a home improvement store home depot is great. As being a part of a large corporation, I would have hoped for better customer service as far as delivery of appliances and installation of carpet.
I had purchased carpet initially. When I found out when it came, i contacted home depot asking when it will be installed. They gave me a number for their contractor, Romanov installers, so I called them for an installation date. They could not give me anything definite. They were apparently short of carpet installers. So i called everyday asking for an installation date. I went to the store a few times to see if they could help, but only directed me to Romanov. When my carpet was finally going to be installed, Romanov/​Home depot DO NOT communicate with their installers. I had specific instructions for parking and for how to enter the property. None of my concerns were communicated from home depot/​Romanov to the actual installers.
Then my appliances. My microwave was delivered to my house just fine. When my larger appliances like fridge, stove, and dishwasher were to be delivered, they could not find my address and they could not contact me. Apparently they had the wrong phone number which i told several people to correct and confirmed with all departments what my phone number and address was. The delivery people were supposed to install my appliances but they had problem after problem and no solution.
Lesson learned, don’t use home depot of beaverton for any services.

I had a garbage disposal go out on me and I went there to get a replacement. I told the guy in plumbing what I needed and he said that my old one had a 7 year warranty which I hadn’t realized. I bought it anyway thinking it had been slightly over 7 years. I looked it up when I got home and I was two months away from it expiring! So thanks to the great employee in plumbing who knew his product, I am getting a replacement for free from the company. If he never mentioned that, I would be out over $ 300!!!

Came in for a bbq cover for my new BBQ. Not a huge selection but they had one on clearance for a great price. I would have purchased my new BBQ here but they had some on sale down the road. Big selection of grills though.

Tool rental department has this older 45+ bald headed male who talks down to customers, who ask questions. This isn’t very good thing for people who come in for help at a HARDWARE STORE. His younger associate was willing to help us out, and even in another department someone tried to help. But I feel as though just because you work in an area of expertise doesn’t give you the right to talk down to people who came into the store for help. Based solely on him (which may seem totally biased to others) I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.
There is a locally owned True Value that just opened within 2 min drive anyway and they were more than willing to help and talk about DIY projects, plus the prices were better!

Oh man where do I begin. This place sold me a used air conditioner when I paid full price! There wasn’t even all the things from the box. When I called to get an replacement, the home depot representative was very rude and did not analogize, all he did was blame other people. I then have to drive all the way back and when I got it back for a return, they didn’t make anything right, I waited forever and they didn’t make anything right. Worst place ever!

Home Depot offers everything you could possibly want for your home. In one form or another, they’ve got it.
I love buying plants when on sale — and often those plants will be 50−80% off the original price, which is great if you don’t mind planting in October/​November. I do not mind.
I really feel like they’re less competitive on price for more or less everything else. I can’t walk out of the store with a piece of tubing, a gasket, and maybe a handful of screws for less than 30 or 40 bucks. DIY is less fun when the idea of replacing a few electrical sockets turns into a noticeable monthly expense.
Customer Service at this location is excellent.
Their staff is wonderful and helpful but I truly don’t like going in knowing I’m going to have to make monthly payments on whatever it is I leave with.

It’s a Home Depot, about what you’d expect and since they allow dogs I’ll go one star up here. I do find the selection and layout a bit better at the one in Tigard but this is fine when you need a thing or two.

I go back and forth on how I feel about these big box stores. Usually when I walk through these stores I can’t find anyone to help me. But this time I actually got service.

EVERY time we have gone here we get zero help, cashiers are not friendly what so ever and while their prices are competitive the service will take me elsewhere. I just have a hard time giving my money to a company that doesn’t care about me.

I ordered carpet, vinyl tile and blinds. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Their measuring service missed an appointment and then overlooked a room and had to come back. The carpet installers didn’t keep appointments and my tenants took a lot of time off work when no one showed up to measure or install. In the nearly 30 years I’ve had this kind of work done, I’ve not had anything close to the negligence/​indifference I’ve experienced with Home Depot. To make things worse, they consider removing carpet and padding, moving furniture and installing carpet on stairs custom work which they charge additional for.
Use them at your own risk!

I came in here with a lot of questions about a washer and dryer that I was interested in. Unfortunately they weren’t properly staffed which resulted in me waiting for 15 minutes before someone could help me. The lady at the service counter was rude and short with me but the girl in the appliance section was much nicer and helpful. I felt bad that she seemed overwhelmed with phone calls and other people forming a line to ask her questions. She handled it as well as she could but people were still angry. Great prices and helpful but the wait time was ridiculous.

I spent a year remodeling my house with my husband and we practically lived at this Home Depot. It is actually my favorite location because I think it is the cleanest one, the best organized, the most reasonably sized and has the best staff. We were regulars at four different locations and honestly, we never had problems with this one yet always seemed to at the other locations.
I was reminded of that last night when I wandered here with a friend to pick up a few perennials, some spray paint and chain… I got help pretty quickly with cutting the chain — everyone was friendly while I was grabbing the plants and we were looking at lightbulbs having a really great employee taking the time out to answer our questions. Getting out the door was super easy with a friendly cashier. Nice and easy — the way it should be… save the stress for whatever project you are working on.
