Wine. Wine. Wine. This General Manager/owner knows his wines. They keep a great stock level, great prices, and seem to have passion for it. the rest of the store is OK, but step into the wines and you will find«manager» picks with the guys face on the tag. Priceless. That is passion for Wine folks! It is hard to beat their prices. I can fill a 12 slot box and be under 70 bucks! with all reds! love the reds! So give it a shot. Drop in and pick up a few bottles. You won’t be disappointed.

Friendy, helpful and always stocked with the greatest things! Prices are always lower than elsewhere and they stock a lot of organic products that are tough to find without going to a specialty store. I swear, whenever I search all over town for something like an end table, large bandaids or maybe some ice cream with the little girl scout cookies in it, I about slap myself for not going to Grocery Outlet first. It’s usually where I end up finding what I need and for less than I expected to spend. I have begun to just go there first. Very satisfied every time I shop there.

While I was working today out in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area, a friend came and took me out to lunch. On the way back to work, I realized I needed cat food, so we dropped off here for really just a quick in and out so the be-clawed one wouldn’t try any nefarious deeds(digging into my thighs with claw paws to remind of no food coming her way). I’m somewhat new to Grocery Outlet, so I was happily surprised they were having in-store wine sampling. So he and I bellied up to the bar(actually long, low, flat fold-up table) and quaffed a few samples of wine. We stuck with the reds and found some great-tasting ones that would be worth buying. I will have to buy those at my regular Grocery Outlet store on Lombard(it’s a long way out here!), but that’s keeping it in the family at least. So thanks, Tanasbourne Grocery Outlet, for turning a cat-food-buying quick trip into a bit of an adventure. I like your style!

This place isn’t fancy but you can find good deals but watch the expiration dates… That said it is clean, organized and has a friendly staff. Now if they would just bring back the Jamba frozen bars… What they carry is always changing. I have found lots of items I would not have expected like EO shampoos, like you find at New seasons but much larger bottles at much lower prices. Two words of warning: 1 watch the expiration dates because I don’t think they do and 2 I am careful buying fruit here most of it looks very ripe so you would want to eat it fast. If you have the Unilocal app, use it here as they offer a good discount on it.

I come here to buy watermelon and lindts’ s chocolate bars when they have them. Check the expiration dates. I have seen a few items that are or near expired.

For 2 years I traveled the country. One of the things I missed is the Grocery Outlet. Not only do they have some ridiculous deals on food, it’s a great place to pick up as seen on tv stuff that’s a bit older, cookware, garden stuff, vitamins, toiletries. If they have it, you’re probably going to save money on it. You do need to watch expiration dates, especially when you see really insane prices(like 4 for $ 1). They are very good about taking back stuff for any reason. I haven’t tried taking back anything without a receipt, but know that they are good otherwise. You do need to take it back to the individual store, as they’re independently operated. I’ve been to this location on a few occasions, and find the staff to be friendly, the store to be clean and well organized, and it’s just a fun place to go for a bargain shopper like me.

I’ll admit it… I love this place. Tombstone rising crust pizza for $ 2(BOGO)…$ 6.00 at Safeway. Kids will take 4 of them… cheese please. 40 count box of minute maid juice boxes for $ 7.99…$ 3.00 at Safeway for 6/ct when on sale. I’ll fill up the pantry with those too and won’t flinch when the little darlings leave a couple around house half empty…$ 0.20/per is a lot nicer than $ 0.50/per. Phineas and Ferb Kraft macaroni 3-pack for $ 1.99($ 1.69/for one-pack at Safeway)…5 year old approves of this purchase. Johnsonville brats for $ 2.49/6-pack. Grab a couple packs. With all the money I saved here I can also pick up a 6-pack of Full Sail Chainbreaker IPA… helps me deal with the kids. As long as you check dates on any heavily discounted item, you will be fine here. Watch out for the«WOW» specials… I think that stands for«weeks-old»

Great values at the Tanasbourne Grocery Outlet, and AWESOME customer service. Did you know that this store is run by a family who cares about their customers and neighborhood? It is and you can tell. If you see an extreme deal while shopping here you better grab it up quickly or it may be gone tomorrow.

I consider Grocery Outlet sort of the«dollar tree» of grocery stores. They usually have an assortment of discontinued/damaged items, or obscure food items that you normally won’t see in any mainstream grocery retail stores. I thinks it’s one of those good and bad things, depending on what you are looking for. I do find great deals on produce here from time to time. They usually have avocados for really cheap. Score! Their other produce is fairly decent priced as well, but the avocados steal the show at .50 a piece or even cheaper sometimes. Their meat selection is limited and usually a little higher priced than places like WinCo or WallyWorld, but it usually a better brand and better quality it seems. The dry food goods here are aplenty, you wont have any problem finding really cheap food items that come in a box, if that’s your thing. I do have to share my experience here the other day when getting some produce. I checked into this location using my Unilocal app and scored a hidden $ 2 off deal. When I got to the register I told the checker and she was all like«Whats Unilocal?» So I explained to her what it is and how awesome it is as she was typing in the UPC code into her register. She gets a surprised look on her face and says«Wow, my computer recognizes your coupon!» and I’m all like«Duh.» She was super impressed, and I bet you she went home that night and signed up for Unilocal;) Anyways, Grocery Outlet is pretty cool sometimes, depending on what you want. It’s worth checking out at least once, and also keep your eyes out for some really good coupons and deals in your local Sunday ads and whatnot.

I love going there to look for deals on various items. They don’t have much of a selection of produce but some of my favorites include organic chicken, corned beef(very tasty once you braise it), Chobani($ 2 vs $ 5 at full price!!) they sometimes have Dove ice cream bars for $ 1 a box. Nice place for bargain hunters.

This place was great for things like canned food, breakfast bars, and laundry detergent. I dont know about buying too much fresh food here but at the same time I didn’t really look at the fresh food. They do NOT take manufacture coupons, but they do however take«GROCERYOUTLET» coupons. Enter all of the raffles they have there. One of my friends did the survey on the receipt and won a $ 500 gift certificate. I never thought anyone actually won those! Prices are great here and my laundry detergent for a huge thing of ALL was $ 9.99 and then $ 2.00 off with a grocery outlet coupon. So $ 7.99 for what I would have paid at least $ 12.99-$ 14.99 for at another store. So I was happy!

I always like shopping at the Grocery Outlets — one can get many things at highly reduced prices, and sometimes they are unusual items not readily found elsewhere. Of course, they don’t have everything. They deal in over-runs and surplus items, though they try to keep a reasonable selection of produce, cheese, lunchmeats, frozen and canned foods, etc. stocked. If you like something and its a bargain, then stock up on it — it may not be there next time you come. Went to the store at Tanasbourne, northwest of Beaverton. Didn’t find a lot of interest but then I feel that Grocery Outlets in general are having a lull in getting in the things I would like. I did find one thing I haven’t seen elsewhere lately, and, in the front of the store they had some mixed dried fruits for 99 cents for 8 oz. I got three of them. The store itself was fairly large for a G.O.; I’ll try them another time to see how they compare with other branches.
