Interesting place. Was lookin’ for somewhere to eat with my dad a bit back, and drove past here and pops says — «That used to be a little government building, DMV or something.» I respond — «Huh. Looks like some sort of restaurant now, Korean? Let’s eat there.» So we do. Park and walk in, first thing we see is a big screen TV showing a Korean soap opera, I think. One wall is covered with Korean James Bonds movie posters. Other wall has a counter, we’re greeted by a nice lady who gives us a menu and we go to sit outside, they have some little tables out there and it’s a nice day. Nice view too — Stars Cabaret Beaverton(a strip club) across the street. Exactly what I like to see while I eat unfamiliar food. Anyway, we go ahead and order, my dad gets teriyaki chicken and I get beef bi bim bop. Cool name, I thought, and the picture looked good. And it was. Quite delicious, but just so you know I eat and like nearly everything. Ultimately, I really like this kind of place — a small family run business that simply is what it is — I really don’t like chains that much and this was about as far as you can get from a chain while still in the United States. Four stars for being authentic, at least as far as I know what authentic Korean would be like. I’ll give it five once they remove the old plywood sign that used to say something that we sat next to, and maybe it wouldn’t hurt to clean and maybe repair the bathroom once every year or two. I almost fell through the floor.
