Great coffee. I have had the Americano and he iced coffee and both have been really good. I haven’t had any of the actual Food yet but the pastry case is always bare and the pastries themselves have been dry and bland. It is really great to have a coffee shop with a drive through on this side of bull mountain.

Nice coffee. Over priced cakes and not so tasty. Nice service. Have a drive thru which is nice.

Drove passed this a few times so thought I’d check it out. Love the décor inside. Really cozy and homey feeling but still cool and minimal. Lots of rustic wood and a nice little fireplace. Spent the better part of the morning there on a Thursday and hardly anyone came in. Lame for business, but great for me because I got a ton of work done. Definitely a comfortable place to hunker-down for a few hours and read or work. They serve Stumptown Coffee but I doubt the staff have gone through the level of barista training you’d expect from a place serving Stumptown. I always order a traditional cappuccino when I go somewhere new to test their barista skills(plus a 5oz drink, consisting of espresso & finely steamed milk is just the perfect drink). What I got looked and tasted pretty comical. Basically burnt espresso in a cup with a dollop of foamy milk. It’s more like something you’d expect from Starbucks than a nice coffee house. I’ll go with black coffee next time. Food-wise though they do really well. Decent selection of bagels and pastries, and house-made breakfast sandwiches(didn’t see where they get their pastries). I had the sausage sandwich and it was super good. Apparently the bread was fresh made earlier that morning! I’d swing through there again just to pick up another one of those! I didn’t get lunch there, but saw they were making some tasty looking paninis. All in all, nice place to sit and hang-out or work for a while; even grab a bite to eat. Downside, they could really up their coffee-game. I’m a bit of a spoiled hipster though, so if you’re used to suburban coffee you’ll probably be really happy!

Coffee is ok but the scone I had was hard as a rock and all dried out– DAYSOLD. Juices and other items are overpriced– and NO gluten free options– none! I won’t be back.

This is such a lovely little café. There is a fireplace, the food is really good and there are healthy options. I would highly recommend it for breakfast or lunch or a quick cup of coffee.

This shop is located on the corner of barrows and Scholls ferry. It has a modern and copies the style of bend, or. this place gets a low revise because the coffee was weak, the service was less than gracious, and they didn’t have bread for the braeakfast sandwiches(should.not be an. issue just after opening). They do supply my favorite bakery, Beaverton, and that was delicious. In all, I wasn’t impressed and disappointed as they have a drive thrum which would be highly convenient as none of the others in that area do. Big bummer.

Gluten Free Options! Just about the only place on the westside that has them, plus good coffee. And a cozy atmosphere. They just need to get some signage on Scholls Ferry Road, so more people can know this place exists!

Love the environment, it was very cozy and relaxing. Also the breakfast sandwiches, with their homemade focaccia bread, are delicious. There coffee is good, and if you are like me and enjoy a good hot chocolate, their hot chocolate is very good. Great place to hangout or work.

I am someone who has always believed that you should never serve anyone anything that you yourself would not want to eat and I expect others to do the same. I’ll come back to this later… I was out in the area with a friend and I had her check Unilocal and she decided we should try Press Café because she was in the mood for soup and she saw they had sandwiches with beautiful grill marks on them from the pictures on Unilocal! When we walked in it had a relaxed coffee shop vibe to it and it was very clean. We noticed there were several people with laptops at the tables drinking coffee and working. We looked at the menu and it is small but there were enough options for us to both find something we wanted. My friend wanted the soup and salad and I chose the Traveler sandwich. We were told that there was«no soup» today, which was what my friend really wanted more than the salad so she chose the Cobb salad. I chose the Traveler sandwich. It comes with mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, tomatoes and an aioli spread. My friend went and sat down but I stayed at the counter and was watching the guy prepare my sandwich. He took out a roll that was already grilled. I was thinking from the pictures that the sandwiches were actually grilled, but sadly that is not the case. When he took the tomato and put it on my sandwich I thought I was going to be sick. It was dripping of slime and nasty and there was absolutely no way I was going to eat it. I stopped him and said, «Excuse me, but I think that tomato is not fresh.» He replied«Really?» I told him that it looked slimy and then he took that tomato off the sandwich and threw it out. He then grabbed another slimy tomato and was going to put that on my sandwich until I told him that it looked like all of the tomatoes were slimy. He then said he would get more tomatoes. I figured he might just run in the back and get some more tomatoes but we actually had to wait for some guy from outside the store to drive up and come into the shop with a small metal container with more tomatoes! If I knew that was the case I would have just ordered something else instead of waiting. Now that he had tomatoes he took the fresh tomato and put it on the same bread that had nasty slime on it from the previous tomato! I was not going to get upset nor even attempt to explain to him that he should have thrown out the bread too and got a fresh piece of bread! I just let him make the sandwich and I paid for it and that was that. I chose my chips and sat down. It is not my job to have to explain to anyone preparing food what you should and should not do. The person working should know all these facts and if food does not look fresh you should not serve it! And if you place a slimy tomato on bread and then remove the tomato, there is still nasty slime on the bread! Why would anyone want to eat that? The mozarella on the sandwich looked beautiful and the basil was also fresh, but I was not going to eat the sandwich. The Cobb salad was actually good and I shared it with my friend and the chips were good too. I will not be going back, nor will my friend who lives in the area.

I sincerely wish this place was on my way to work. I discovered it when I was early for a haircut appointment and wanted breakfast, but not from Biscuits Café. I had the bacon gouda sandwich and an espresso. The sandwich tasted amazing– far better than Starbucks’ version. The barista was friendly and checked to make sure I knew where the napkins etc. were. I may have to run errands down this way more often just to come in for the Stumptown coffee!

Just happened to stop in for a coffee break and was taken back by how nice it was inside. The staff was super friendly and the coffee was perfect I’ll be back to try the food if you are looking for somewhere to meet or just want to try to order a coffee in ounces no names this is the place! I figured when I saw the drive thru it would be so so just a cup of coffee but it was excellent great find!

Serving Stumptown coffee may just do it for most coffee shops, but this place has higher ambitions. Delicious homemade foccacia-laced sandwiches and other options(milkshakes!) gracing breakfast and lunch hours takes Press over the top. Thoughtfully curated décor and pleasant furniture doesn’t hurt either. Keep it up!

Only the best coffee in town… STUMPTOWN! With their own breakfast sandwiches and pastries from LAPROVINCIA down the road… Parking is great too. Family owned and OPERATED which I like because you can trust them to do everything to the best of their ability not just be punching the clock trading time for dollars! I am very excited to make this my new go to coffee house! Will update the rating as I visit…

DIALED spot with Uriel and the crew adding to the welcoming vibe. Food was very fair cost for the great quality. Coffee, press sandwich and soup were on point!

I have gone to Press Café a few times now. My last few experiences have been great. The gentleman in the drive-thru window is always very nice and polite. I think he normally works during the week. Definitely worth going during the week! However, if you visit Press Café on the weekend be prepared to wait 25 minutes for a cold breakfast sandwich and sub par coffee served by two ditzy young girls who clearly have no idea what they’re doing. Please train these girls or find someone else! I don’t plan on recommending if this continues.

Wonderful atmosphere! Cozy meets pottery barn. The owners are friendly and happy to be doing what they are doing. Sit by the cozy fire and sip your Stumptown coffee… Or sit at the bar and plug in your device for free WiFi. We had The Press and The BIG Roast sandwiches… Great!

Great place to meet friends /clients! Love the drive thru and interior. Very cozy! I meet my clients at Press Café and enjoy the fireplace and open light. Offering real food is a huge plus to the great coffee. I have used this space a few times to work from and is quite accommodating. I see a bright caffeinated future for the residents of this neighborhood!

Very nice/modern atmosphere. Décor(and fireplace) are well done. Serving Stumptown Coffee(is a HUGE asset), and their espresso equipment is on point(i.e. La Marzocco Linea, Mazzer grinders). Staff is friendly. Sure hope the neighborhood supports this new/aspiring café.

Stumptown coffee in a drive thru? Yes and thank you! My husband and I ordered breakfast sandwiches. I asked for egg with the sausage and cheese and they happily accommodated. I was amazed how fast they got the food out to us in the drive thru. Well done. I will be back and hope other locals support this shop!

This is the only coffee place I know that has a fireplace inside, which is exactly what you want when you are trying to warm up with a delicious cup of coffee. Lots of seating compared to the last ownership. Very clean, everyone working there enthusiastic and happy to be serving customers their caffeine needs. The person who helped me was Eric, he was very friendly and made an extra effort to make sure I was taken care of, even after I ordered. Now that’s what I call great service! I don’t remember the last time I experienced that at a coffee shop. I also tried their breakfast sandwich, and it was on a delicious focaccia bread with sausage that has a great flavor you don’t find at most places. Oh and did I mention they have a drive thru? Great coffee, excellent customer service, tasty breakfast sandwiches, a fireplace and drive thru, what else could someone ask for!
