Plaid Pantry Markets

I never thought I’d be giving a 5-​star review to a Plaid Pantry but the tall kid with the glasses who works here is the nicest convenience store clerk I’ve ever seen. Always friendly and smiling. A few months ago, I even saw a guy, who was clearly inebriated, come in to try to purchase alcohol. When he did not have any ID to show, the man started acting hostile and making crude remarks to this clerk. He still calmly explained the store policy, still held his ground and was still polite and friendly although I would not have blamed him for yelling back at this drunken jerk. Amazing.
Besides the excellent service, the store is always clean and well stocked. They even had ketchup when I was too lazy to drive to Safeway to pick some up and saved my breakfast haha. Now I sound like I may be bordering on hyperbole but I mean every word. This is one top notch establishment!

This is one of the best of the Plaid Pantry’s in the Portland area. It is alwayd clean and tidy and the store has plenty of room to move around unlike some of the stores in the PDX area. This store also has a gas station so it is truly convieniant.

Nice Plaid Pantry part of a cheap Arco gas station! And hey we are all looking for the cheap gas nowadays. The guy at the counter was super cool too! I was a bit shocked by the $ 10 scratchers and said that seemed pretty optimistic then he told me that someone had won $ 700 off of a $ 20 scratcher earlier that day. I don’t think I’d ever spend $ 20 on a scratcher but it’s interesting. Oh my god so much snack food and so little time! They have icys too! And a sale on snapples. They have huge vitamin water too. Great store.
