They closed the Lake Oswego location, so now I am forced to drive out to Beaverton to get cheap bread. But it’s worth it! Today I picked up 5 packages of English muffins, a loaf of thick cut french bread, and 2 boxes of Entenmann’s donuts(for the kid, I swear!) for $ 6.15. Yes, that’s right, $ 6. I freeze the english muffins so they stay fresh til I need them. The deals here are great if you need bread and don’t mind it being close to the sell-by date. Just freeze it and you’ll be fine. The ladies who work here are abnormally cheery — they seem to like their jobs, which is great. Lots of seniors shop here, so watch out in the small parking lot. The shop itself is pretty small and when busy, it’s pretty crowded in there. It’s worth the drive for me, considering how much money I can save. Why pay full price for bread, you know?
