Definitely not the best. Has good pricing on the food but bad quality. The restaurant was playing loud Mexican music(excessively loud) music a little overwhelming while I had my taco date with my husband. I asked the lady who took out order and she said it was from the bar right next to it. I Would not recommend the food here

ROACHESROACHESROACHES!!! If I could rate this place a 0 star I would’ve. First off I got a very sweet older lady as my order taker no complains. It’s the skinny younger one. She came to my table and took condiments off my table for other customers probably because they come in often and this was my first time. The tacos that you see on display outside for $ 1 tacos is false. They ended up charging me almost 2 dollars for one little baby taco that didn’t even come with 2 tortillas usually you get two but I’m not complaining just saying. Second they took 30mins to cook 4 tacos!!! I was late for my lunch for 4 tacos!!! Little tacos the size of a 3 year olds fist. I corrected the younger looking lady when she told me my total and she said with the smartest mouth, um I’m pretty sure the machine knows how to count!!! And I do too, you told me how much it cost per taco and the total came up to $ 7 lastly when I went to the back to pay in the little room because they just forgot about me and didn’t bring me my check??? Some ppl came after me and left before and they just threw there cash for the food on the table didn’t even directly hand the money to the waitress just left it and walked out. Anyways so I went back there, the kitchen was just dirty and hideous and there were cockroaches crawling on the bottom near the frying pans I asked her about it and the younger lady completely told me to leave and was in my face cursing in Spanish in pretty sure I have called osha!!! This restaurant will get what they deserve especially when they treat customers like crap!!!

It’s not the fanciest place and the service can take a long time to put your order in and then get your food. The server is also the cook and is usually in the kitchen and doesn’t notice you right away. I’m giving it 4 stars because the food actually is really good. The prices are really good and you can’t beat $ 1.00 Tacos and $ 5.00 Burritos. Carne Asada, Al Pastor are flavorful and the Carnitas are moist. They usually make the tacos on handmade tortillas. They are small, but bery delicious.

Ridiculously cheap for some delicious tacos! This is a go-to place on the way home for some quick to-go lengua in this area.

$ 1 tacos in 2015, enough said. Well seasoned, not the best in the area, but great bang for your buck. Just order like 20 to go and live off them for a couple days. Al pastor was superior to carne asada. Some confusion with the order, I didn’t get a Pacifico I wanted(but didn’t get charged) and the bill took awhile to arrive. Just some slight but understandable hiccups with service, no big deal really.

The food is decent. I got a carne asada burrito for 5 dollars, which is a good price. It came with rice, beans and meat in it. I took a couple stars off because the section of the restaurant I ordered the take out from has a stronger cleaner smell. If I were to try and eat the food in the restaurant, I would have gotten sick. Overall, good food and a reasonable price. The ambiance is not good at all.

This little hole in the wall place is legit. Best Mexican food I’ve found in a long time. No frills, just simple and delicious. The tacos are $ 1. They’re small but tasty and authentic. $ 5 for a burrito that always fills my gut nicely. Sometimes the bar side can get rocking really freaking loud, but it’s a small price to pay for food this fresh and delicious. Everything is made to order by one person, so it might take a short while to get your food, but well worth it. The décor is a little lacking… I think you can seat maybe 30 people in the restaurant area, but I’ve never had a problem getting a table. Seriously, if you’re looking for the most legit carnitas burrito or lengua tacos, go here. Now.

5 stars for the tacos & sope we ate, however the atmosphere left something to be desired. Service was fast & friendly… felt like being on the streets of Mexico but WITHOUTthe 2 for 1 happy hours:(you probably wouldn’t be playing video poker either in Mexico lol! I would go back for sure!

Really good tacos. One of my new favorites. The tacos de lengua were very delicious. They are incredibly tender, moist and flavorful. If you’ve never tried them, and are a bit adventurous… you’ve got to taste them. As the other review stated, the staff can sometimes disappear so don’t be shy about getting up to look for them if you need something. They were super friendly when they came around.

I’ve grown very selective of the Mexican places that I frequent and this is one of them. The décor leaves much to be desired and it is the food that you should really focus on. It is one of the best places for sopes in town. The caldo warms my stomach and heart(although they sometimes run out). And the finest handmade tortillas that you can get to go! Everything is reasonably priced. The staff has a tendency to disappear into the back but patient they will return.

Their burritos are huge, and the one that we purchased was fairly good(Burrito de carnitas is what we got)… But their enchiladas are mediocre at best. And when we told the woman that was helping us that we were finished she disappeared for like 20 minutes, only to pop in again and ask if we were finished. We didn’t enter the bar section of the restaurant, but as for the food, I’ve had much better, and the service was abysmal. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
