Car Stereo City

I see some bad reviews on here about this place. Let me start off by saying they beat out there competition up the street by a lot. I have a Cadillac deville, Anyone who knows about these cars know its well beyond a basic installation. I came in and talked to the manager about parts I needed to do the installation myself. After talking to him for a while and him explaining what I had to do and was going to need, I knew I was in over my head. He was still willing to get me the parts, no pushy sale at all. I ended up letting these guy do the installation and got a new deck all for a better price then everyone else just for the installation. It’s been like 4 or 5 months now and everything still hits like it should. Good job guys! You have a customer here for life!

I went in there looking to get quoted on both an amp/​sub combo and also HiD lighting. The guy who helped me was very cordial, helpful and knew that I wasn’t hip on the newest Technology (I hadn’t put a system in my car since I was in highschool) He gave me quotes and his name and said to give him a call when I’m ready. Can’t ask for anything more then that.
He even knew I wasn’t going to purchase anything right there and still gave me a lot of help.

Bad customer service!
I bought an hid kit for my car and the job was done great.
The reason why only 2 stars is because after having my car in a shop, the headlights didn’t work, I drove by there and ask them if they can check them, the guy on the counter seemed uninterested and told me in about an hour he’ll have one of the guys in the shop look at it. I told him it could be something simple yet he said they were all busy so I waited.
15 minutes later a guy came with an F150 and had some issue with his hid and the guy behind he counter jumped and went outside to help him with a super awesome smile while I was being ignored. 40 minutes later the same guy told me to come back in 30 minutes and they’ll get it fix, I left and took it to another shop that sells hid in Beaverton, even thou I didn’t buy them there they fix it for free without an appointment just so they could gain a potential future customer.

Called just for questions and a price quote, the guy was a jerk, very rude and acted like a know it all. Not everyone who calls for info is an idiot. Stop trying to get over on people and be polite or ull drive away business

Coming back with a third car left me pleasantly surprised how willing the management here is willing to keep the customer happy. I had sort of a confusing order of ripping a cd unit from one car and placing it in another, and also changing the bulb color on my HID’s. We were able to schedule an appt for two days out for all the work to be done. They charged me hundreds less than their competition Stereo King down the street for the exact same job.
Once again the work is top notch and I fully support this local business and will continue to be a return customer.

I stopped in the other day to check pricing on the HID headlight kits they advertise. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a very friendly staff who answered all my questions, gave me a price quote and offered to install them right then and there. Their customer service is excellent. I looked around the store, they have a lot of woofers and boxes but was disappointed with the low selection of head units. I think there were less than 10 on display and they were pretty much all the same. I’m guessing they use the showroom as the warehouse too. It’s pretty cluttered with sub boxes. Not just ones on display but all the stocked ones. They desperately need to vacuum the floor. But I’d still check them out for stereo needs and they did a fast job installing my HID’s which look great.

I went in with an appointment at 3:30 to have an aux input installed in my car and was told it would take about an hour. Although the guys were very friendly, they didn’t get my car in to be worked on until about 4:45 and my car done until about 5:45. I assumed they would go through CD but what they actually did was just an FM transmitter with an aux port built in. I could’ve just bought that at best buy for $ 50. For what they did it was a quality job and they even went above and beyond to fix a fuse in my cigarette lighter, just be sure to go in with a clear plan of what you want done and extra time on your hands.

Didn’t actually end up buying anything. I know little about car stereos and the owner seemed irritable and did not want to answer a few basic questions. I left frustrated and was willing to pay more money to buy somewhere else just to not support this business.

I have been to this place a few times and their prices are real good! I bought my subs and amp here for a pretty good price and installation is cheaper then anywhere else! The guys there are pretty cool and really helpful too.

Excellent prices and service! I purchased and am having installed a stereo & speakers at a much higher quality than I could afford when I got a price quote from Car Toys and Best Buy. Very knowledgable and friendly staff. They will even install purchases made outside of their shop at a very reasonable price. I’m so happy I drove just a couple miles down TV Hwy. to check this store out before spending way too much at another store!
