I like this restaurant chain. The food is not quite as amazing as a person in my past suggested, but it is pretty good and locally sourced, to boot. The stores are always clean and look like 50s diners, which is a cliché, but it works for me. Today I had the pull pork sandwich special, which was great except for the fact that it is a special and won’t be available after June ’16. Drag.

There was mold on the tomato in my salad. The manager seemed concerned, offered me a new salad. I guess I expected a little more. I guess it is fast food, what should expect.

From out of town but I had access to the Chinook app. Only came because of the coupon I had. I will be back when im. back in the area. This place is awesome. I had the Tillamook Cheeseburger with added onions and a side of rosemary fries. My only complaint would be the pricing… paid $ 2.35 for a regular fry and there wasn’t a lot in the order. Other than that I will be back for more.

My office ordered lots of cheeseburgers and fries. Nobody I know liked it. The fries were extremely raw. The cheeseburger was worse than Mcdonalds. Never again.

I probably shouldn’t have chosen this location for lunch, as there was no open seating and I ended up having to eat in my car. However, it speaks volumes about a place when it’s so busy during the lunch hour that there’s a significant to-go order wait, even with all the tables being full. I got one of the basic/classic burgers, a small fry and a small drink, and it was just the right amount of food. Think I’ll try this location again during a less busy time and see how I like the ambiance, as I wasn’t in there long.

The food is always above par at Bergerville, however this particular location houses some of the most rude employees I’ve ever seen

Ordered the bacon cheeseburger, fries(malt vinegar yesss), and a root beer. Side of spread. The spread is a yellow mustardy/deviled-egg type relish business and is pretty good. The burger was decent, but when I go out for burgers — maybe its just me — I want something indulgent. This was the opposite, which I should have known from all the sustainability signs in the restaurant. It was not deserving of the grease/topping-catching wax wrapper it was served in. I was still hungry afterwards so I ordered a small cheeseburger, which was honestly better than the big guy. Wife had a similar experience, but she got a pumpkin shake too. That was fair, but loaded with so much Chai I felt like I was eating a bush. Good prices, but I will probably not return.

I love this Burgerville! The staff are friendly and welcoming with an attitude of service. These folks like to make people smile and they did it with me. I got the veggie burger and it was delightful, large and spicey which is how I like it. I also got the Cherry-Chocolate shake and that was also amazing. Best shake I ever had, the sweet potato fries were also delicious. I have been to other Burgerville locations here and the last one had rude service and cold food but this one was perfect and I will return no doubt!

Poor customer service(sometimes). I almost feel uncomfortable. You can hate your job and at least TRY to muster a smile. After leaving though, I saw their marquee saying they’re hiring customer service oriented people. Makes sense.

I haven’t been here in years. Mostly because they are about 5 miles from me and if I wanted a great burger, 5 Guys is 3 miles from me. So I’m at Trader Joe’s accross the street and it’s 9pm and it’s still 85 degrees outside. What the hell, I’ll grab one of their seasonal milkshakes. The place was, I’d say, moderately busy at best and there was about 1 person behind the counter for every person in the dining room. There didn’t appear to be a method to the madness. Just kids wandering around back there. One kid walked from behind the counter to address who I assume is his girlfreind in the front where people are ordering, or at least I hope teenagers haven’t devolved to the point where they just see eachother and proceed to make out. But this is going on while other people are waiting on their food. So I order and expect my shake to be made in, oh, about 8 seconds. Or at least that’s what I’m used to at Dairy Queen. Whatever, people watching. With pretty much every order that comes up that they bring out to the diners, they bring to the wrong area of the restaraunt, then walk to the far other side after asking 3 other people if they ordered what they are carrying. My order was no different. The whole time I’m thinking of the whole $ 15 an hour thing… Sorry, but ¾ of you are losing your jobs. There’s already too many of ya’ll back there and your efficiency is that of a three legged turtle. With all the conversation and the passing dances that people are doing with eachother, half as many people could be just as productive. I ordered a big shake to take home and share with the wife. The locally sourced fresh blackberry milkshake is fantastic. I kind of imagine that crack cocane feels how this tastes. I’d also imagine the comedown being the same, with symptoms like headache, dissiness, nausea, irratable mood, upset stomach, diahrrea, etc. I took a guess at 45 grams of sugar and 15 grams of fat. Boy howdy was I wrong! The big size has a whopping 161 grams of sugar and 62 grams of fat. Am I wrong in that it kinda feels like you’re cheating at a delicious product when that much fat and sugar would make cement mix taste just as good? Came home and the wife’s asleep so I finished the whole thing. Now I kinda feel like I need a nap, an asprin and a shot of insulin. Think I’ll leave a note in the tips section. Don’t try the big one alone unless you’re trying out to take over Man Vs. Food.

If this branch of Burgerville seems different its because this is one of the older stores. This location opened in 1969 just eight years after the original location on Mill Plain in Vancouver. This location is different than the ones that followed. It has a small seating area and no Drive-thru. Still the food is the same here. Like all Burgervilles they like to locally source when they can which leads to lots of seasonal specials like Walla Walla Onion rings and Strawberry Shortcake(which is good, great when they berries are freshest). For the regular menu I like to get the double cheeseburger combo. The burgers all come with their signature sauce. The fries could use some work though(if the rosemary fries are in season get them instead, much better). I am also a fan of the chicken strips basket. The best thing they make all year is the Chocolate Hazelnut shake usually around the first of the year. It is great and I always look forward to it, The fresh strawberry shakes are really good also. The worst thing I have had there is the Pumpkin shake, I really I had high hopes but there was so much spice I couldn’t taste the pumpkin, I last had it a couple of years ago and still remember it, it was that bad. You are warned! I would be tempted to give it a fifth star but the prices seem a bit high, Though I apriciate that they treat their staff well(I had an acquaintance who worked here, she got health insurance way before it was the law.) If you haven’t been to Burgerville you really should. It is a locally owned chain with history in the area. This branch is one of my favorites as it feels old school and the staff are always friendly here.

I have yet to have them get an order right. Today I got home with no fries. First thing on the receipt is fries. The food is good though, since it’s Burgerville. Otherwise I would give one star.

This is an adequate burger place. I had the Tillamook cheeseburger and added onions. A little heavy on the mayo but compared favorably with a whopper – not really better. The fries were crummy, to use a technical term. Limp and thin and fairly tasteless. Strawberry shake was good.

I just can’t find decent burgers in Oregon. Sorry if this makes me a snob(I’ve tasted GREAT burgers, ok?!), but OR just don’t have good burger and sushi places. The fries here are way too greasy and soggy. The burger meat is flavored nicely but the whole thing is just too greasy! Parking spaces for this location is ridiculous too.

Three strikes — you are out. I’ve taken friends to other locations where the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The menu items looked interesting, especially the seasonal fires. So I thought if I ever get a craving for this kind of food I would check it out. I gave them a shot, actually, I gave them 3 — in case it was just bad staff or an off day. Every time I had to wait an inordinate amount of time for my order while people who came long after me were served first. I did not come in when they were slammed, I ordered directly off the menu with no modifications, and no one said any of my items needed more time. I wondered if they had lost my order. ALL3TIMES. The food was bland and overpriced. Seriously over $ 5 for a bad bean burger on a cheap white bun with a little mayo? $ 4.99 for a tiny piece of fish thrown on a cheap white bun with a lettuce leaf and smidge of tartar sauce? The food is supposed to cost more because it is local but the quality is so low they cannot really justify the prices. The Red Robin directly across the street is quicker, has better customer service, and for what I ordered it is actually cheaper. What’s really sad is that in the fight to get fast food workers a liveable wage, this place represents all the reasons I keep hearing about why they don’t deserve it.

I honestly don’t get the hype around this place. I ordered the deluxe chicken sandwhich and it was so terrible that I only took a couple of bites and then just couldn’t finish it. The chicken was greasy, lettuce oversized, bacon was a joke(2 mini pieces about an inch long) and it was smothered in cold bbq sauce that was just way too much for the sandwich. I don’t mind a messy meal, but it tasted like I was just eating straight bbq sauce. My boyfriend got the pepper bacon burger and it was pretty mediocre also. The fries were decent but nothing special. The ice cream and shake options looked good but it won’t be enough to bring us back again.

It has been several months since I have been to this particular location. My experiences have always been pleasant. The service is good. The order comes out right. The food is delicious. This particular location is right on the busy Canyon Road and is a rectangular building with no drive thru. It is dine in or order to take out. You have to ask the one of the Burgerville employees for the bathroom key because its outside. Last night we stopped here for a late dinner on the way into Portland. It was probably the best experience that we’ve had at any of the Burgervilles in and around town. Everyone was nice and friendly from start to finish. Our fries were fresh and hot. There was an extra cheeseburger for free because they made one too many. Sweet. They even apologized for making us wait but I didn’t think there was anything usually long about the wait time. It was still appreciated. All in all, I love Burgervile. The food is always good. I really like the fries here.

I have to say most, if not all Burgerville’s taste about the same. I had just fasted for about 15 hours and had an Endoscopy done when my mom drove by this location and I yelled in the car«TURNINTHATPARKINGLOT!». Needless to say, I was jonesing for a cheeseburger, bad! So this was my mom’s first Burgerville experience. It was on the way home to my apartment so we grabbed the food to-go, this location is not a very eat-in friendly type. My cheeseburger was so good, I don’t know if it was because I was starved or what, but I scarfed that thing down. The fries were totally cold by the time we got to my place, its ok though… actually, now that I think about it, its not ok because that shit was expensive! I still love me some Burgerville though. I cant really hate. There was no line, the service was fast and our burgers were good.

Dirty, crowded and got my order wrong. I love the brand, but not this location. I’ll head to Scholls Ferry & Allen next time I’m craving a Tillamook Cheese Burger.

$ 27.00 for 2 smallish cheeseburgers, with onion rings and shakes? The quality should have been FARBETTER than what it was for that price. It’s a very small step up from what you would get and expect from Burger King, except 3 times as expensive. The seasonal raspberry shake was the best part of the order, and even that wasn’t exceptional. Oh, and for the reviewers comparing this place to In-N-Out… you’ve got to be kidding me. It’s not even close, and I’m not the biggest fan of their burgers, either. But, In-N-Out runs circles around this joint. I won’t be back, cheap fast food quality at high prices.
