Artisan Salon

My wife and I have been a BIG fan of Momo (Manicures/​Pedicures) for years and followed her over here to Artisan when she moved.
Momo is very skilled at her craft; has excellent attention to detail, my wife says a large selection of polishes, and she is very personable. She is very easy to get along with and always has the client in mind. Her prices are reasonable, set at or below normal Portland market rates.
Unlike most hair/​nail salons, this one has NO polish or remover smell to it (something I’m very sensitive to). The salon is roomy, comfortably furnished and has complimentary coffee/​tea. XM radio plays gently in the background.
Need a haircut or waxing? In addition to Momo’s excellent Mani/​pedi/​polish work, you can also find salon owner Michiko to cut and style your hair or Cosmetologist Chloe to cut and style your hair and/​or waxing.
For the men: My guess is about 70% of the clients are female, but you don’t feel intimidated or uncomfortable here like some of the other salons. There are no loud «catty» issues here. These ladies have a loyal following, both male and female.
On the fence/​not sure? Don’t procrastinate! These ladies are very good at what they do and while they are always willing to take on more clients, they sometimes book up pretty quickly.

I recently had a pedicure and detox treatment at Artisan Salon and I couldn’t be happier! My feet have never looked or felt better! The salon is stylish, quiet, and most importantly, clean. It’s a great place to relax and get refreshed. The ladies that work here are fun, friendly, and professional. It was worth every penny. If you’re looking for a world class mani/​pedi, ask for Momo!

For everyone that has complemented my hair… this is the place where I get my haircut by the owner Michiko. Seriously… it only takes me 2 minutes to style it. Best part is the shoulder/​scalp massage after.
