Came here on Easter and had a great time. All of the meals were good and they were really accommodating. ALL of the desserts were amazing and I highly recommend the soufflés.

Absolutely wonderful meal! We went to Splendido for my birthday dinner last night and were treated so well. Our waiter was warm, knowledgable and accommodating. The sommelier was so helpful at finding the wine we wanted and ensuring that we got the last bottle. The crab cake and arugula salad were delicious, we had the sole and black cod as entrees both of which were delicious. Dessert was a chocolate soufflé with vanilla sauce – what an enjoyable meal. We are still smiling about our delightful evening.

We tried the hamachi with the red curry and coconut cream which was fantastic. Then we tried the crab cakes. My partner loved his but I thought the lemon sauce a bit over powering and would’ve like a little less sauce so I could taste the fresh crab. The crab cake was swimming in sauce. It really was a great crab cake with virtually no bread binding, just crab. Why smother a great thing? My partner had the lobster soup which he said was good but not great. It did have nice pieces of lobster but too much sherry for his taste. I had the rack of lamb which I ordered med rare. It was on the rare side but was still tasty and tender. It came with a mint carrot purée which I absolutely loved and wish more of it was on my plate. On top of the purée were plain cooked carrots which I could’ve done without. Also it came with a feta tart. The feta didn’t go with the strong taste of lamb, just absolutely didn’t. Maybe it would’ve been better if it was a goat cheese or a Gouda tart. I topped off my meal with a Lemon Soufflé that was awesome and cookies All in all, it was a yummy meal. Almost perfect. We had a waiter named Matt who was perfect. He was helpful, cheerful, charming and made our dinner even more enjoyable. Why can’t all waiters be like him?

I’m torn. We visited Splendito tonight and the location couldn’t be more beautiful(especially on a heavy powder night). The valet and hostess offered excellent service and were very kind. The restaurant was also very inviting. As we walked in, we decided to change our reservation to sit at the bar to enjoy the pianist. I started with a lovely glass of Frank Family Vineyards Cab and was all set for nice evening. There were not other guests at the bar when we arrived which usually lends to amazing service. Yet, this may have have been the worst service we’ve ever had, especially for this caliber of dining. The bartender was not engaging and we were mostly ignored after ordering. I had to kindly ask another gentleman to clear our plates twenty minutes after finishing. It then took another 20 min to order dessert and the bar was not very busy at the time. Once finished, we had to ask for the check. This is expected at most clubs and bars but not at a fine restaurant. The food was good, but was overshadowed.

I loved this restaurant! I got the kids menu I highly recommend the crab cakes!!! The kids menu even had starters. I had the shrimp cocktail. The service was good I would say in 10 minutes you would get a appetizer and 20 minutes after that you will get dinner. After that me and my sister shared the Boston cream pie. It isn’t that big

Love this place. The atmosphere is elegant but comfortable. The scotch and bourbon selections are excellent is the bar service. The dinner menu is varied with regional options and whatever you select, the chef will prepare to your liking. I’ll never return to Beaver Creek and not dine at Splendido.

We were at Splendido last night I’m beaver creek. Our service was good. Our food was cold. The saddest part is that two people in our party were sick by midnight. Those two had the chocolate soufflé which was complimentary BC our food was cold. This used to be our favorite place but I will say, we are not going back. If your food is cold you would think you would get a fresh dish but no it was zapped. Disappointed.

What a pleasant dining experience. We chose Splendido to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, and arrived early(around 5) to enjoy a few drinks on the patio. The bartender was friendly, and the owner, David, came out to congratulate us and hook us up with a complementary round for our anniversary. :-) We sat at our table and were served by Robert, who made the experience such a treat. Between thoughtful recommendations and cheerful banter, Robert was the man. The bread and olives were great for nibblers, and we started with oysters(husband said they were the best he had ever had) and a crab cake(so fresh! Lots of meat). My husband had the lamb which came highly recommended, and I had the duck with apricots. Both were great — the sauces that came with the duck were amazing. I had mashed potatoes which were the creamiest, butteriest potatoes ever! We were also served salads which were so good they were almost the star of the meal! For dessert, the pastry chef’s rendition of a s’mores dessert was phenomenal. The chocolate soufflé was AWESOME as well. A beautiful place, amazing service, friendly staff — a great experience.

Is there another star rating for out of this world? Seriously… if I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. We have been here on a couple of occasions that have brought us up to the mountains and every visit has been spectacular. The wait staff is friendly, the ambiance is amazing and the food is incredible. I’ve never been disappointed and neither has anyone in our group. I have to say, my family is currently up in Beaver Creek and I am stuck at work in Denver but I had to write this review thinking of how jealous I am of them as they are going here tonight for my father’s birthday. So jealous!

This was one of the top dining experiences I’ve ever had. The attention to detail surpassed anything of any other restaurant I’ve been to. Despite Colorado being very inland, the seafood platter was out of this world. Everything tasted fresh, and was served at an excellent temperature. The sashimi tuna surpassed that of extremely high-end sushi restaurants. I got the buffalo dish — while expensive, it was an eclectic and incredibly well-rounded dish. The carrots that came with it had a flavor I have never tasted in a vegetable before, thanks to their brick oven in the back. Lastly, Matt gave us a tour of the kitchen, explaining every station to the last detail — including what type of granite they used on their countertop. I have never been to a restaurant that so openly showed their process as Splendido did. Matt proved to be a charismatic and well educated member of the Spledido staff. The dining experience was completely unforgettable. Everything was top-notch, from the food, to every member of the staff. Though expensive, Splendido is not to be overlooked.

Whoa. This was one of our top five dining experiences and rivals 3-star Michelin restaurants. We were served by Pat the Sommelier and Robert. Pat offered a tasting and pairing, which we gladly accepted. It started out as a 6 course but ended up being an 8 course meal. Some notable items were their Hamachi yellow fin tuna, octopus salad, foie gras, and lamb. First the food. The lamb dish was hands down the best lamb we have eaten, anywhere. Every single item they brought to us was beautifully prepared and the flavors were exceptional. He opened a bottle of Les Trois Argiles Vouvray and wow, I loved it. We also had a beautiful moscato and a cab from Nickel and Nickel, along with a few others(sorry I can’t remember). He paired all of the items perfectly. The service was also second to none. All of the important details were not missed such as filling water, bringing new silverware between each course, presentation, quick cleaning, and most of all, we felt like rock stars with the attention we received. We ended up cancelling all other«fine dining» in Beaver Creek because we knew it would not come close to measuring up to this experience. Bravo gentlemen and thank you for a memorable and top notch dining experience.

Although I’m on a strict-ish eating plan, I couldn’t help but voraciously wolf down some game meat after a full day of boarding. The seared foie gras was delicious and most importantly, sizable, which pleased my insatiable craving. Of course, I HAD to try the Colorado lamb rack, which was one of the top lamb dishes I’ve tasted. The elk tenderloin was also impressive, although I ordered it sans bacon, so my opinion of it may not be the most accurate. Our server recommended the cheesecake dessert, which was unique and the perfect ending to our calorie-laden meal. Boohoo. So much for my diet. I’ll probably be featured on «My 600-lb Life» before I become a sexy bikini model.

Came highly recommended by Ritz concierge. Expected a fine dining experience – left disappointed. From the appetizers through the entrees nothing stood out. The salad was close to flavorless. The cote de bouef same deal. The service was friendly but not very attentive, mostly catering to the large tables, of which there were many. About half way through dinner asked the server if I should put in order for their signature soufflé and was told no because it takes only 13 minutes, I said go ahead and put it in for me, about 20 minutes later flagged down our server who said sorry your soufflé dropped so they just put you in another one-so had I not said anything would have been waiting about 30 minutes without anyone ever telling us anything. Too add insult to injury, during the time we were waiting they must have hauled out at least 20 souffles to other tables. At no time were we asked if we wanted coffee or an after dinner drink. Since we cancelled the soufflé they were kind enough to give us a slab of their passion fruit ice cream, although it wasn’t very good.

This is the best restaurant in the Beaver Creek area! Simply a wonderful experience from beginning to end. After eating at several high end restaurants in the area, this one clearly rose to the top. Our service was wonderful, food was prepared perfectly, and the pianist in the lobby area just set the mood perfectly for a romantic dinner. I will absolutely return here one next visit to Beaver Creek…

After coming for many years, I wonder if my latest experience was just the result of the arrogance of past success. The ambiance and food are superb, but pale in comparison with the unapologetic attitude of the staff and management when it comes to customer service, speed of service and friendly attitude. They seem to be colorblind to the needs of families with minors.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, but the speed of service ruins it for me. The food was above par, but nothing I would write home about. It took forever between each course to receive our food and we were literally the only two people in the entire restaurant.

The food tonight was once again excellent and thanks to Kyle the service was too! The oysters were fresh and tasty and the crab appetizer was excellent. The lobster with mash potatoes!!! The soufflés were divine! Great deal if seated tonight by six … twenty five percent off! Great food and even better friends made for an excellent evening! Drinks out on the patio before sundown was well worth arriving by 5:30 pm!

Visiting Beaver Creek for the first time and heard a lot of good reviews. This place was definitely one of our favorites. The crisp pork belly was one of the best I’ve had. The balsamic glazed black cod was very moist and tender. My favorite was the New York Strip. It was even better than the Cote de Boeuf with more flavor. They also have a great kids menu. My son really enjoyed the yogurt with honey, granola, and berries.

I have been speaking to Kathleen Ellis, Splendido’s special events coordinator, for months about planning our WEDDING there. She was the most unprofessional and unorganized woman I have spoken to in my entire life. It would take her WEEKS to return my call, and then she would tell me something different than she had told me previously. I have tried many times to get a commitment from her, even just a simple contract with a deposit, and she never got back to me with one(which she said I would have within a week, which was months ago). I’ve never seen a business being run so poorly. The last e-mail I sent to her was one month ago, never got a response, so I called her today, she says she can’t remember my e-mail. She is extremely rude and I could only imagine how hard it would be to try to go through the wedding process with her, if she is this horrible from the very start. Needless to say we will not be planning our wedding at Splendido, nor will we entertain our guests there during our stay. I voiced my concern and was under the impression that she would be relieved of her position because so many others had the same experience with her, but unfortunately she has not yet. This is very disappointing and I expected so much more from Splendido. My advice: DONOTDEALWITHKATHLEENELLIS.

I’ve been hesitant to write this review because the food we had was very, very good. The service however was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. There is no other way to put it: our waiter was a pretentious douche bag. For some reason he thought he was better than us because he was waiting on us at Splendido. It took him close to 15 minutes to take our drink orders after waiting 15 minutes over our reservation time to be seated. He took our drink orders and then SNATCHED the wine list/cocktail menus from our hands and literally HUFFED as he walked away. I was with my in-laws and they DONOT order cheap drinks so I don’t know what his deal was. After we got our drinks he took our order and made the hand motion to «hurry up» when we were asking him questions about the food. My husband and I were so embarrassed by his behavior and were hoping that our parents didn’t notice. We received our appetizers, and they were delicious. I had an heirloom tomato salad, and the tomatoes were some of the best I have ever eaten. My FIL claimed his crab cake was«the best appetizer» he’s ever had. He was contemplating ordering another one, but our server never came around to ask how things were. Our entrees were just as tasty. My husband ordered the coq au vin and immediately demanded I learn how to make it as good as they do. I ordered a bison filet– it was perfectly cooked and I practically licked my plate clean. My in-laws both ordered fish and both were blown-away with how good the food was. In all this time our server didn’t check on us once. We ordered a few bottles of wine from some other random guy, and food runners brought out our appetizers and entrees. We were never asked how our food was or if they could get us anything else. The icing on the cake was when we asked our server for the dessert menu. We ordered a few desserts to share and my MIL inquired about their decaffeinated tea selection. Our server was the rudest jerk ever. He listed some of them and my MIL said, «I’ll have the peppermint, since it’s decaf right?» And the server sighed and clicked his tongue like a petulant teenage girl and responded with, «All tea has caffeine in it, that’s why it’s called TEA» and again SNATCHED the menus from our hands. Well, asshole, HERBALINFUSIONS, DONOTHAVETEAINTHEM. THEREFORENOCAFFEINE. I turned beet red and was SO embarrassed that I was the one who decided on this restaurant and made the reservation. Luckily, we all had more than enough to drink, so I don’t think my in-laws noticed. Our server dropped off the bill when we were still eating dessert, no offer to refill coffees or ask if we needed anything else. When you are dropping $ 150 per head at a restaurant, you are paying not only for the food, but for the experience. Our server ruined what could have been a very positive and memorable evening. I wrote the restaurant an email the next day and told them what awful service we received. I got a half-ass apology email a week later and was told, «the appropriate course of action has been taken with the staff.» I didn’t describe our server in the email I sent, and I also didn’t tell them what section we were seated in, so how they knew who I was talking about is anyone’s guess. It also wasn’t the«staff» that I had an issue with. It was the ONE particular server who we were unlucky enough to have that night. And what action did they take? What is considered appropriate? Side note: My MIL saw the chef(or sous chef) hanging at the bar and went to compliment him on her dish. He went into the kitchen and got her some of the spice mix they used on her fish for her to take home, which was very sweet of him.
