I usually go here because there’s not that many Chinese place nearby and this one is the closest. The staff usually all sits in a corner and waits for you to order which makes me uncomfortable. I prefer you not stare at me while I’m ordering and eating my food. My plate was dirty so I had to ask for a clean one and they gave me Coke instead of Dr. Pepper. The orange chicken isn’t great but I love the sweat and sour chicken. It has a perfect crisp to it.

I give one star for customer service, three for the food. I’ve been going to JoJo’s for about a year now. I’m a regular who tips reasonably but no matter how many times they get the order wrong the front of the house acts like it’s my fault. There’s poor communication between the front of the house and the back of the house and no, there aren’t any language barriers to pardon. The wait-staff are rude and often the food is okay but occasionally I receive poor quality food like over dry rice, burnt or greasy entrees, and even once I was refused tea because they’d already washed their teapots. The more I frequented JoJo’s the worse the service was hence this review and my pledge that I will no longer return.

Visiting family in Beaumont, and had a taste for Chinese food, so our family ordered take-out. We ordered about 7 different items from the menu, and surprisingly all were good except for the egg rolls

Went there for lunch amd it was pretty good. Most lunch items are $ 6.29 and you get a lot of food. I would go there again. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. You get the entrée, two big scoops of fried rice or steamed rice, an egg roll, and a choice of soup.

Jojos has great food. That being said, one more than one occasion i have ordered delivery from them and tipped the driver well. The next day the charge on my card is 10 – 15 dollars over what I approved. I tipped you, it is not okay to also tip yourself. I will never go there or order from them again.

Jojo’s has good, authentic Chinese food(though we did have to ask for chopsticks). Yesterday we had lunch there; we showed up around 11:30a and it was pretty empty. By the time we left, the place was pretty packed. We ordered: –Special Wonton Soup — was good, but needed some hot chili added. The wonton were stuffed with chicken(I usually prefer pork/shrimp) and the soup also had napa cabbage and white meat chicken as accents. Very fresh tasting. –Mapo Tofu(with pork) — delicious but, again, needed some chili paste added. The bean paste sauce was very nice. Next time I’d ask for it «hot» and see what happens. –Mongolian Three Delight — the sauce was a bit sweet, but it was a really good dish. –Family Style Tofu — I didn’t love this dish, as I don’t like fried tofu, but my mom really enjoyed it. This was her favorite. The broccoli in it was perfectly cooked. Good stuff, and the place was really clean, including the ladies room.
