sadly, one of the worst chinese places i’ve ever tried. also seems like the cook smokes as you can taste it in the food. not worth the price or taste.

We eat here fairly often and we have never been unhappy with our choice. It is a much needed change from the Chinese buffets. The food is cooked to order so it is always piping hot and fresh. I really don’t have a favorite here because everything I have ever had was very good.

Had General Tso’s Chicken today. They used to be so much better. The pieces of chicken were very thin and I’d have to say 75% batter and up to 25% chicken. Don’t know what’s happened to them. I’ll be sticking to safe things if I go there again that can’t hide awfulness under batter. yeah, the eggrolls are pretty good, Jack-​in-​the-​Box is better for those in Beaumont though.
Here in the last few months what used to be wonderful food has taken a nose dive and I just hope they regain their sense of dignity and quality, otherwise. forget it.

Best egg rolls ever. The combination rice is fresh and delicious. This is my favorite fast food Chinese drive thru in Houston and Beaumont. If you want amazing Chinese, try PF Chang’s at most major cities.

I won’t be eating here again. Got their shrimp and steak special with an Egg Drop Soup and everything tasted like a frozen dinner. The soup was way bland. The egg roll was just okay, and the «steak» was slimy and chewy. Yucko!

I used to live a 2 – 3 minute drive from this place, and they’re probably a pretty good reason why I’m overweight! Their portions are huge, it’s cooked to order and very quickly at that, and they have a drive-​thru! What more could you ask for!

General Wok is your average Wok type restaurant. All of the menu items are cooked fresh and its a great place for a cheap meal fast. The best thing to get here is the C14 which isn’t actually on the menu. The menu stops at C13, the C14 however is the combination Lo-​Mein so you get beef shrimp chicken and a little bit of everything else and you get a heaping portion. Another great Item is the sweet and sour pork I swear the pork here is cooked exactly like my grandpa does it and its great to dip in the sweet and sour sauce.
