I love both locations but I went here today cause I needed soup cause I was little under the weather. I ordered wonton soup with rice noodle. It’s very good. Next time I will get it without pork… Great flavor

Stopped by for lunch today at 2:30 and was refused service because they hadn’t had a table in an hour. WOW you finally get one and refuse them service… really? This is the 2nd bad experience we’ve had here so needless to say we will not be back to give you a 3rd chance. SHAMEONYOU!

My absolute FAVORITE place to go in Beaumont. I love all of the food and drinks that I’ve tried. The atmosphere is beautiful and clean. I typically have wonderful service. Perfect place for a date or even just a casual lunch alone.

Oh man what can I say I love this place. Me and the guys from work here maybe once or twice a week. It’s one of my go-to spots on the regular. The food is always good I’ve never had anything bad. I like trying different dishes that they have in so far my favorite has been the drunken noodle. Pineapple curry would be my number two favorite dish they have. If you like it hot then tell them to bump it up to a level 5 or 6 and really get the heat kicking. This just might be my favorite restaurant in Beaumont.

I love this place! They cook their tofu very well, which is always a good sign to me. They are also very accommodating when it comes to spicyness level, substitutions and menu questions. My favorite is their fresh garden spring rolls — always a winner! They have wonderful curry, especially the panang curry. And can’t forget the favorite of pad woon sen. I have only ever had Thai food in the local area so no idea how authentic it is, but I have zero complaints! Side note: They just got a new menu and had a warning that prices increased, but I didn’t notice. The only thing I saw new was a charge for extras(like extra curry or a side of veggies, things I know they didn’t charge extra for before). Their prices are still great and I don’t mind paying a little extra for extras!

I love the duck curry sauce, though sometimes the duck is overly fatty and sometimes has bones. The rice noodles and pad kee mao and drunkin noodle shrimp are great. Prawn rolls are tasty. Service is usually friendly and fast. Delivery is a bonus.

Boo hiss. This use to be our favorite Thai place in Boremont when visiting family. Now it’s gone down hill to the dogs :( Tom Kai soup was horrible and no where near what it is supposed to taste like. The waitress tried to even argue with me and tell me that I must have mistaken it for another soup even though I explained to her that I’ve eaten Thai food around the world and am very knowledgable and cultured as Thai food goes. Finally I just had to put my foot down and say that I didn’t not want or like it. My girl ordered the Pad Thai. In the past this has been their king shit dish. Now it’s missing the king. Noodles were over looked terribly to the point that they gummed up into a ball and made chewing them very unpleasant to say the least. So sad. We will NOT be returning. Where we live in Austin and Houston, Thai places are everywhere, offer excellent lunch prices, and are amazing! Unfortunately this place is the only game in Boremont. What a shame. Just a reflection on the culture here.

Mmmm I just finished my papaya salad and tofu in eggplant spicy sauce. I got number 8 spicy and it was still not thattttt spicy. Delicious nonetheless. My goto place in Beaumont. Very slim pickings here in Beaumont. The restaurant looks pretty on the inside. Might be a good date spot!

Well, it’s hard to rate this place since it’s the only Thai Restaurant in Beaumont. The food is okay, nothing special. The wait staff has been good every time I was there. The portions aren’t big for the price they charge. Overall, it’s okay. I would recommended the Lad Na(however you spell it), Pad Thai and the Duck Curry. Those are the dishes I normally order.

I thought this place was great. 1st time try prawn«spring rolls»… They were friend but damn good. Had pineapple chicken curry for an entrée… They offered 1 – 8 levels for spice. I chose a 6. To me I would have called it a level 4. That was the 1st time I’ve seen large chunks of tomato in the curry. I quite enjoyed that detail. I’ll come back.

first time eating here and I must say, food was good but service was just horrendous. I have a minor food allergen so I asked to substitute the shrimp for pork, the waiter took my order but when I received my plate, I HADSHRIMP.

Great food, excellent service, comfortable seating and a quiet restaurant. I think this is the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. I had the Tod Mun(fish cakes) appetizer first, and they were lightly fried, juicy and served with a deliciously complex dipping sauce. For my entrée I had drunken noodles with shrimp. So tasty, and the shrimp were large and succulent. The service was efficient and personable.

The food is outstanding. Hot, fresh, and great tasting. The look of the place on the outside isn’t much, but the inside is very trendy and nice. The main ding is the wait staff. It takes about 3 min to get greeted at your table by the waiter or waitress. Then the personalities are very odd. Overall it just seems as though there is a lack of management on the floor. Having said that, I would still continue to visit the place because the food is so good.

I’ve been coming to Chaba for years. First couple of times was at the Lucas location, but ever since this location opened my family has come here whenever we have a Thai craving. Their food is excellent and their service is great. What more could you ask? I usually get Thai tea, prawn rolls, and chicken Panaang curry, which has a red peanut sauce with bell peppers and broccoli. Also, they have a section of the restaurant that has low tables surrounded by «trenches» that allow you to sit on the floor without being cross-legged. Never tried it, but it looks cool! In short, I’ve never had a bad experience here, and I doubt you will either.

Chaba is phenomenal. My favorite place in the town hands down. It’s a palette pleasing frenzy every visit. Great cuisine, lovely ambience, & wonderful staff. Plus they have THEBEST cocktails in town.

Chaba is a nice little place to break up the monotony of Beaumont Texas. The interior is nice and well decorated but far from upscale, though its not claiming to be upscale by any means. The staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and on point with service. The food is «Good». Not very good but for sure above average. And to be clear not good like Waffle House or Chilis good. The food was well prepared and cooked to perfection though they overcooked my dates meal by just a tad. Still no complaints. This restaurant can hang with most places in SETX but unfortunately, and this is my opinion, it does not compare remotely to the original Chaba on Lucas. Yes this location is bigger, newer and nicer but the food lacks something. Neither dish tasted as good as the original. Maybe its mental, but I wasn’t still drooling when they took my plate away. Plus the portions are nearly cut in half at this newer location. On its own, Chaba is great place to sit down and eat, but think about the original and its not as appealing.
