We were a group of six. Except the hot and sour soup, we loved everything we ordered. The cilantro dumplings were surprisingly good. We also got the snap peas, the mushroom, spinach and shrimp dumplings, pork and shrimp shumai, scallion pancakes(a little on the thick side but very good), bok choy(garlicky and delicious!), egg drop soup and seasame balls. The entrees were less exciting than the dim sum with the exception of a chive stir-fry(which was mmmm)! This place has a vast selection for vegetarians. If this place weren’t so far from the city, it would be our goto place for dimsum. This place has a sister branch in Chinatown. But, food wise, this location is still the much prettier sister.

I’m shocked that this location is closed. Even though I went there once, the restaurant was virtually identical to the Chinatown location. It was a great meal and I’m sad that it’s gone. I guess it WAS only made to last in Manhattan.

Surly service– waited for about 4 minutes before we were greeted, food bland and not great. Served weird rolls with the Peking Duck not the usual pancakes. Never refilled the water. The fried food tasted like old oil. No one smiled at us once! We won’t be returning. Also, the cook was smoking on the stoop as we left! Yuck!

We have been to this restaurant a number of times and it seems each time we go it gets a little bit worse. Here is the breakdown: Food: bland, unsatisfying Service: not attentive and almost annoyed we are there and asking questions and need more water! which he should have noticed on his own. We will not be returning.

Have been here many times. Love the dim sum options, it allows a groups to try lots of different things. They have the best fried rice! The waitstaff is nice and very attentive.

The food here is awesome. But there are 2 other tables and we’ve been waiting 40 minutes for dumplings. Something has to change. We’ve been to their spot in the city several times no issues. No idea what the problem is here.

Shark Fin anything is bad. IT was on the menu at Dim Sum Go GO. The shark population is being decimated by horrible practices that cut the fins off sharks and then let them drown by dumping them back in the ocean alive. This is so ignoble and wrong I can’t believe anyone would support this heinous method. There are news repots all over the place to end this put its persists. DONOTSUPPORTTHISDONOTEATORBUYSHARKFIN Unethical practices by restaurants will cause these necessary animals to become endangered besides the fact that they suffer terribly. Why on earth would you support that?

I was craving Chinese food last week so I decided to check this place out. Options were good but portions were not. I ordered general tso chicken and I left very hungry. Service wasn’t that great either. The servers seemed to favor me and my boyfriend and not our female friend who was with us. We left saying that next time we would rather order food from a different Chinese take out venue.

I had the egg drop soup which was good and the vegetarian dim sum platter all were good but most of them Stuck to the paper that they where placed on and stuck. Some of them fell apart and that makes it hard to eat with chopsticks?

Came here for a light lunch and thought the dumplings were good. Mushroom dumplings — best of the 3 we sampled. The filling was very flavorful. Snow pea dumplings — these were pretty good too. A little less flavorful than the mushroom ones. Spinach dumplings — my least favorite. The filling was a little bland. The restaurant is pretty open and stroller friendly. Outdoor seating in the warmer months.

Everything here was delicious. Loved the roast pork buns, spare rib tips, and the shrimp crêpe. Will definitely be back again.

I have never had dim sum before, and enjoyed what I ordered. But we ordered mostly vegetarian, and I was underwhelmed by everything except the crepes and the potstickers(meat). The best part, however, was the wonton soup. I am thinking this is a better Chinese restaurant than Dim Sum. Or maybe vegetarian dim sum just isn’t that flavorful? Staff was really nice and helpful!

Any dim sum or entrée that includes Chinese eggplant is a must order. Dim Sum is equal to or better than NYC〰 Chinatown or Flushing. Try the politically correct fish maw soup(close to Shark fin without the guilt). Only regrets… no snails in black bean sauce.

Okay, so I’m full Chinese and born in the US, but I’ve lived(and ate) in Hong Kong for 3 years and I have a Chinese mother who’s very critical about food, especially Chinese food. So trust me when I say that this restaurant is pretty awesome and close to Cantonese food we can get back in HK. We ordered Peking duck, braised Japanese tofu(special), mango beef(special), and broiled grouper fillet with bean curd. The atmosphere was really nice and it’s really cool that they use the old bank vault for their wine cellar. The decorations are nice and it’s very like upscale Chinese restaurants back in HK. The Peking duck was not bad. $ 40 for a full, $ 22 for a half. Only bad thing was that there wasn’t as much taste as there could have been. That usually happens because the duck wasn’t fat enough. Comparable to Peking duck we can get in Chinatown, NYC.(Duck too lean, but the buns it comes with were really good) 3⁄5 The braised Japanese tofu was yummy. The tofu was really good, lots of broccoli, some garlic, and slices of pork. 5⁄5 The mango beef, the only complaint we’d have would be that the beef pieces were too small and thin. I personally thought the mango in it was funny and strange. It tasted good though! 3.5÷5 The grouper was really good. The fish was nicely cooked and texture perfect. The tofu was good but I preferred the other tofu more. 4.5÷5 The only reason I knocked off a star was for the bubble milk tea. The milk tea was very sweet and the tapioca was kind of mushy and just not what good tapioca would be! And the size was quite small for the price… Anyways, overall the place was nice and definitely would go back to try their other food!

I figured I made a mistake when the majority of the staff was not Chinese and the one guy that was spoke perfect English. No cart service, which wasn’t too surprising considering the name, but the dim sum menu was limited to just the staples and you had to order them individually. It’s very nice for a dim sum place. Probably because it’s located in such a hipster neighborhood. Prices were higher than other dim sum places, but I’m guessing it’s the only one in the area. And what kind of dim sum place charges for tea? Dim sum/yum cha is all about the tea. The food itself was OK. Slightly different that what I’d get in Chinatown. Har gow was very sticky, it stuck to the steamer. Shumai was sour for some reason. And the pork spare ribs had a different sauce. Taro and pork dumplings and lo mai gai were kinda bland. But the steamed pork buns and chicken feet were on point. The soy sauce was sweet instead of salty too. Strange. Food wasn’t terrible, but not really what I was looking for.

Unexpectedly, and happily more Asian than i thought it would be. If you’re into experimentation and trying new things, Go go has plenty of enticing options to keep you coming back. After my pan-fried eggplant and chicken wings, at least that’s what I’ll be doing. Service was great, ambiance was casual/upscale, and the outdoor patio was a welcome break from the norm.

Stopped by to get some dim sum to go. The dim sum menu is a bit limited, but we ordered chive dumplings and roasted pork buns. Generous portions, 3 with each order, for a very reasonable $ 3.75. It was a bit of a wait, but I see this as a good thing, everything freshly made to order. The roasted pork buns were perfect, a bit of sweetness and a good amount of BBQ flavored pork inside. Dumplings also very tasty. Won’t hesitate to come back for a sit down meal!

I all honesty, I wasn’t planning on Dim Sum today. I drove through Beacon to visit some other place. I made a wrong turn and drove past a store I’ve been meaning to go to for quite some time. Parked the car… CLOSED on Tuesday. Really? So I turned myself around(that’s what it’s all about) and drove to #1 destination. CLOSED on Tuesday! Beacon, what’s up with that? By now I’m starving and what do I see? Dim Sum Go Go. I didn’t expect a real Dim Sum parlor in Beacon. To be fair, they don’t push around carts with Dim Sum like I’ve seen in Chinatown, but they have a real variety. I had a great time and had some things I haven’t had in years.
