Love, love, love this comic book shop! The owners are super nice and know their stuff. They remember you and treat you like a friend and not just a patron. Usually can’t help myself and spend a long time chatting when browsing. Huge selection of sculptures and busts. Great collectibles. And if there is anything you need help finding or getting, just ask. Tip: Pay with cash. ;)

Great Store. The amount of Statues and Busts is astounding. People are very friendly and willing to help but not in your face. Great place for a collector or people who just love comics. There comics collection is vast. They have everything here. I live in Toms River and so far the best Comic Store I have been too. And I have been to the one in Red Bank the big Tape in Howell a few in Toms River, Newark, South jersey. This is by far the best around here.

I would say that I am a «novice» comic book nerd. I was really into the Marvel Comics of the 90’s and then I had kids and, unfortunately, grew up! When I realized that I had made a terrible mistake, I was so happy that Conquest Comics was there to help.
I had given away-​yes, not even sold-​my entire collection of Generation X comics. I work at a local game store (which does not have any comics), and a mutual customer of our store and Conquest had told me that they probably had a few «entire collections» and that all I had to do was ask and I would receive! So, I did!
I messaged Conquest on Facebook, and they promptly replied that they would see what they could dredge up. In the meantime, I was checking around to see what I could expect to spend, but realizing that I was going to be support a small, local business, gave up on that whole idea and honestly would have paid them whatever they wanted due to the labor that must have went into digging through their HUGE collection of comics to find what I needed.
It wound up taking me almost 2 weeks to pick up my items, and while I am sure they were ready to ban me for life for taking so long, they were still very VERY patient and understanding, and held the collection for me anyway. When I came in, ALL the comics were in perfect order, AND they had included special editions, too! This was well beyond my expectations. I was throughly impressed.
When I went to the store, it was full of POP Vinyl Figures (which include a really cool claw machine, btw) t-​shirts and so many toys, it was like Heaven on earth.
I know now, if I ever have a need that I can’t fill in my own store, Conquest is my new go-​to. Patient, friendly, and wonderful staff, along with a truly amazing store.

If you are looking to buy collectibles, this place is definitely for you. They have extensive collection of standard and exclusive action figures, Pop Funko’s, statues and many other items. In terms of comics they have many classic and original copies, back issues, graded CGC and new issues available. The graphic novel section is well organized and seemingly always up to date and in stock (Most comic shops seem to be missing volumes from a collection) and if they are missing anything in the store they offer to order it for you. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable as well. As a collector and reader, this is easily my favorite comic book store in NJ.

I have gone to many different stores from NY, NJ, PA, DE and this is my favorite. When I started reading comics this was first place I went and these guys where awesome to me. Honestly, I was nervous to go into the store or any store not knowing anything. I braved it and I was welcomed with open arms.
Now I go there just about every week and I can’t ask for better experience.
Their trade paper selection is very nice wide variety. They also have a huge old floppy collection, it’s massive. Of course the new collection is just like any store.
Really the best about this store is the service the two owners are down to earth nice dudes just like comic store should be. Twice I under calculated my purchase and they’ve let me slide on the tax. Which is just something they do not have to do, ever. To me that shows how much they care about the customer and what they do.

Nice place. I’ve been in a couple of times. I live in NYC and my parents live in Ocean County so this place is my back up I guess to get things from if I’m not around my spot.
They have a great selection of new stuff, haven’t really looked at the back issues, but where this place really shines is the figures and statues. I’m not so much into that stuff, but looking at it brings back memories and I still think it’s cool.
