Nor-Bell Service Station

I won’t give them even a penny to this F place again. I live in this area. That why I went there. But! One time they want me spent $ 1000 for a/​c, I went other place, only because a small part. Another time, my tire loosing air, they said no flat and only change new tire, I went other place, only $ 10 for flat, my tire no problem. This place charged me $ 17 for check the Fuing tire… These Fuing people robbing customer … Don’t go there!!!

Went in Friday, 11÷13÷15, to have my alternator replaced. While checking over the engine, they found that my powersteering hose was going bad and possibly leaking. He showed me the hose and I said ok. The owner looked up all parts and prices, showed them to me and I chose which item to be put on the car. I appreciated their honesty and integrity with their customers. Took about 2 – 3 hours to get everything done. If anything else goes wrong, I will definitely take it back to them!

I always come here for service. The staff is so friendly, professional, and honest (especially Sal)!!
I never feel ripped off and I really like that they will make recommendations without selling me crap I don’t need. Highly recommend these guys!

I will never going to this F place again very bad ! And don’t do the inspection there, they just want collect the money from you!
They tell me number of the thing field the inspection, and need to paid $ 800 to fix it.
Something funny is I going to the other place at same day everything is ok! I don’t need spend anything, I pass the inspection.

Never again will I give business to this place after they gave bad service. I’d rather go out of my way to my usual spot instead than give this place any of my business.

I’ve been dealing with these guys for years. They’re caring, knowledgeable and reasonable. A decent mechanic is a hard asset to find and I truly lucked out with Nor Bel.

I love this place. Any time I need an oil change or minor maintenance, I just drop the car off without ever needing an appointment. An oil change is usually done within the hour. They just found and fixed a leak in my car’s tire pressure sensor for very cheap. Also fixed a squeaky brake pedal for nothing. I won’t go anywhere else.

This auto care center is part of Mobil gas station right by Northern Blvd and Bell Blvd. I always come here for oil change and light maintenance works. I try to avoid going to car dealer because I always end up getting more works done on my cars than necessary. So far I have not experienced any problem. Just dropped my car off at 5:20 PM for oil change and the car was ready right before 6 PM. They close at 6 PM. So, perfect timing.

They were alright the first two times I went in for an oil change. About 2 months ago, I went to get my car’s inspection: worst experience. The mechanic said it’d take half an hour. I went to the cashier to check my car in, they told me an hour to hour and a half. I told them that was fine since I’ll be at the gym, so I’ll be back in about 2 hours. I called them when I got out, they told me it’s not ready and it should take another hour. Fine. I give them an hour and a half, then go to the place to see if my car’s ready, but they tell me they’re still working on it. It takes about another 30 minutes. When I finally get to the cashier, and ask them why it took so long, they said «there were 20 cars ahead of you.» THEY COULDN’T TELL ME THIS WHEN I WAS DROPPING IT OFF?! Even worse, they failed my inspection, told me I needed to replace two tires that were $ 150 each. I left there, went to another auto shop afterwards. My car passed the inspection there; the tires passed the state requirement, so I didnt need to change it.
I told my friends about what happened, and they told me «DO NOT GO THERE! THEY RIP EVERYONE OFF!»

It’s never fun when someone rams into your new car!
Came here to get pictures taken for my insurance company as well as to get a flat fixed!
$ 17 to plug a hole in my tire (and it took only 10 minutes!!! Fastest patch ever!!) and the guy took the insurance pictures and saw us pretty quickly. We were in and out (with tire patching) within 30 minutes!
Hopefully won’t ever need these services again but if I ever do won’t hesitate to come here.

These guys sell on fear. I had my wife get an inspection there and the manager said «for your family’s sake you should change your tires». My tire had 10K mile on them. I wont even go there for gas. I rather travel than deal with these guys.

Ladies, you know when you bring your car into a service station, you always worry that they will take advantage of your lack of knowledge. Well, worry no more! These guys are terrific and honest. I had some work done several months ago and paid a reasonable price at the time. Six months later, my car just wasn’t right, so I brought it back to them. Without hesitation, they fixed the car immediately and did it gratis — Thats right — NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Needless to say, I am a very happy camper. Don’ t think twice about trusting them to do any work on your vehicle. They are one of a kind — I am happy to have found them.

I would not recommend this place at all. I brought my car in for an inspection and they failed me b/​c of windshield wipers and a sideview mirror that they claim would cost $ 200 to fix. the sideview mirror was cracked on the upper corner, but was still working and functioning fully. I called Geico and the sideview mirror was covered under my insurance policy and it cost NOTHING. i have been there 4 times — every time they try to get me for a $ 800 repair. I fell for it once but never again. Everytime I talk to someone from Bayside they all tell me about the bad experiences they had at NorBell. Don’t go there.
