Best Western

We were in town for 6 nights for a funeral and to close out an apartment and did not want to spend a fortune for two hotel rooms when it was just someplace to sleep. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We got every service and amenity that we would have expected from a much more expensive hotel.

Stayed overnight on new years eve 2015, prices were really high but that’s expected and this hotel actually offered cheapest rooms I could find in all of Queens and most of Nassau county. Paid 208 for 1 night. Arrived to find a very poorly designed parking lot with not much maneuverability especially when crowded. Checked in around 5 pm quick easy pleasant encounter with staff. Room was on 1^st floor room 112 right off of the elevator. Hallways are a bit dated. Room was really good, not big but not small. It’s a standard queen room. 2 small lamps with energy efficiency bulbs took long to get bright. Light was far away from mirror. Thankfully there is a lamp by the door with a mirror albeit its hung a bit too low. Placement of outlets seemed odd. No outlets in bathroom. Bathroom modern. Walls were a bit on the thin side. Room bed and bathroom were very clean. No complaints. Would stay again.

Stayed for two nights, conveniently located off the highway. Free parking is a plus and breakfast was included. Housekeeping was very nice and the front desk was helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. Elevator is very slow.

Free parking, free continental breakfast nothing special about this place I checked in at 6pm so can’t comment on previous reviewers claim. I was in town for business so not bad. Bed was comfy rooms are dated but clean asked for a later check out of noon and got it without being a member of their rewards club

Assuming one can and should receive a star for niceness and general cleanliness, this is deserving. Beyond that, this place should be avoided at all costs. Rooms not ready at check in time. Registration stunningly slow. Rooms very dated, very small. No staff available to discuss the incessant internal noise — not from other guests, or external traffic, but apparently from internal pipe. No one objectively could at any time over the past 6 hours stand, sit, or attempt to sleep in room 115 and not hear the constant and I mean constant rattle of pipes or structure settlement. Astounding, and simply wrong — and for almost $ 200, but for the roof, bed and pillow, bordering on abject theft
