I went to Bell Family Jewelers to fix my diamond bracelet.
Harry the owner was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant.
Not only that he fixed my bracelet in a timely manner, but he also polished it and made it look like new.
I live in the neighborhood and it’s great to know that I don’t have to go far for any jewelry repairs and a friendly service.

It’s unfortunate that I posted a review and it was reported. I had a horrible experience at this establishment. It was an uncomfortable experience– I felt as if they tolerated my questions, not knowing I was prepared to pay cash for a particular item. They interrupted my questions with other customers that appeared to be prepared to spend significant amount of $, not knowing I was about to myself… Lest I get reported again, I will leave a user friendly review and say this. I will never return to this business again!

Came here after work around 5:30pm on a Wednesday and the place only had one customer. I rang the bell and the guy who I assume is Steve just stares at me from behind the counter not letting me in. Harry eventually buzzed me in and greets me. I came in hoping to find a Gabriel & Co engagement mount I’ve been searching for and amazingly they had a knockoff version. I asked the pricing of it in platinum and he said he’d get back to me next business day with the exact price but quickly gave me an estimate for $ 2200, which would have been the best price I’ve been quoted for this style but the original version was only $ 100 more online so no huge savings there. The first 10 minutes, Harry complained about all the engagement ring customers and how many he was getting as well as the constant calls, I was tempted to ask if I should leave but instead commented «isn’t that a good thing? It means you have a lot of business» to which he didn’t respond.
I had already picked out a loose stone but haven’t purchased it yet, so I asked Harry what loose diamonds he might have. He asked what I was looking for and I showed him the stone I was planning on getting along with the price. He asked if i was a gemologist and I answered him honestly saying no. Immediately the guy goes to the back and shows me a lab created I color SI1 and brags about how it looks to the eye. Not wanting to be rude, I agreed that it looked good on the table, meanwhile he had it under direct fluorescent light so of course it was hard to see any imperfections. He sets it on one of those gem sticks and I was able to look at it more closely, immediately I saw carbon inclusions (3) and what looked like an internal crack around the entire lower girdle. I told him about the inclusions and he pulled out his loupe and looked, immediately quipping that I must have great eyes. Honestly with the amount of inclusions I think it should have been an SI2. I mentioned that I used to work at Kays for a short period so I had a little bit of knowledge but also understood that Kays was a mass producer so the products were different, Harry smirked and would later mention it to Steve who scoffed at my past experience when he quoted me another lab created stone G color SI1 1.3ct for $ 6500, another rip off.
So I’m on business day 2 and I have a feeling Harry won’t be calling me back with the mount quote which is fine by me. Even if it was cheaper I wouldn’t buy from such arrogant, rude, obnoxious people.
Update: A day after posting the review the business called me twice in a row. I have since blocked those numbers. :)

I once went in here asking if they could repair my mothers ring and they were extremely rude to me. I am a young woman in my 20s, and somehow they thought that meant they could talk to me like I am an idiot. I was extremely polite too. A few minutes later, my dad walks in after parking the car, and their tones immediately changed. They explained to him the difficulty of fixing it, but in a very gracious and polite manner. My dad was in disbelief when I later told him how they treated me because of how differently they acted to him. Go to Lee’s across the street! They fixed it perfectly, with no grief, affordably.

Steve and Harry are very helpful. Steve helped me design my wedding ring and gave me exactly what I want.

I am a retired jeweler’s daughter, so I’m very picky and hesitant about buying jewelry from a non-​family connection. However, I can’t tell you how happy I am to have walked into Bell Family Jewelers. My fiancé and I decided to get married in a week’s time and we needed beautiful weddings bands fast. I first walked into the store solo to check out their rings and was greeted by two really and warm jewelry experts. Later, I returned with my fiancé.
What struck me most was their honesty! They could have easily told me to go with 18k white gold or platinum, but instead they gave me a few options that actually helped me and my fiancé SAVE MONEY. I couldn’t believe it!
They’re highly knowledgeable and are eager to give you as much or little info was you want to help you make the best purchasing decision according to your wants, needs, and budget.
It’s a place that’s friendly and never pushy. I can’t tell you how many jewelry stores I’ve been to where the minute I walk in I’m immediately see dollar signs in their eyes. Bell Family is NOT at all like that. The truth is that they don’t need to be. They know what their doing, they offer high-​quality pieces at really fair and competitive price points –trust me I did a ton of research and even asked retired jewelers in my family.
They’re quick and flexible. Because we were so short on time, Bell Family worked with us to give us the rings we want before our wedding date. So many other jewelry stores said it was impossible or tacked on ridiculously expensive rush delivery or sizing fees.

Nice enough staff. They called and followed-​up on an piece of jewelry I was looking for. Nothing special in terms of what they offer for gold prices.

Very disappointed! Went there for the first time as my husband gave me a gift card, specifically to buy a new watch band. I told the clerk and showed her the gift card as soon as I walked in. They did not have a band in my size, but searched to find something that would work. Finally found something that matched, but had to wait awhile as they had another customer. No problem, that was fine with me. They gave me the watch and I pointed to the gift card on the counter for payment. The jeweler rushed over, angry and pointed out the fine print — could only use with a $ 150.00 purchase! So I paid in cash, but I know my husband did not know about the fine print when he got me the gift card. I went to put on the watch, but the watch band was too small. I just wanted out of that place, and left with the too small band and a useless gift card. Won’t be back!

These guys are professional and help you out with anything you need. They also craft their own rings. I really appreciated the great job they did on my wife’s ring.
