This place is great. I would recommend. It takes complete perfection for 5 stars, but this place is very close. Good food and friendly service.

I was NOT guacing this mole! I came in here looking for a chicken taco, but came out convinced that I had eaten turtle!

Try this place for the first time. Had a Mexican platter(don’t remember what’s called). In fact it was like eating a naked taco. It was excellent! Had the plantains and washed down with pineapple soda. I would go here again. ‘Nuff said.

The food is good but I have 2 complaints. 1– there’s a definite communication barrier. 2– the service when you get here is not so good.

Never had a bad experience here. It’s consistently good. I try to go every time I’m in the area.

New to the area but I’ve had my fair share of Mexican cuisine. After reading the reviews, I was anxious to try it out but after I did, I am a bit reluctant to go back. I had ordered the quesadilla with a side of guacamole and it wasn’t really much to write home about. Also with the minuscule amount of salsa I had, I was forced to ration my meal between the $ 3 side of guacamole and the giant quesadilla. Thumbs down Tacos Guacamole, thumbs down…

The state of this my once favorite place to eat is in despair. Been there about 6 times in the past 3 months and it just keeps getting worse. I tried over and over again to give it another chance but it just is not the same. So sad because it was basically the best Mexican food in the area. :/

It has been disappointing lately but that seems to be the trend with my fellow Unilocalers. It’s a shame since they have such opportunity with Taco Bell across the street. If they get the quality back up, they can really take a lot of business from Taco Bell. Until then, it’s so-so food.

I’m new to he area so I’m not sure how this place was in the past. But I like it. Far better than Taco Bell for sure! It’s a takeout place tho I tend to dine in from time to time. I like it as much as that other burrito place in Islip. Except here, it’s not packed all the time. The people have been polite. Not up for small talk but that’s ok. I’m there for the food. My faves are the chicken and chili tacos. The rest of the family like the burritos.

I’m from California and im mexican and I have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. This isn’t the best Mexican place. Not much flavor and the hot sauce/salsa isn’t all that authentic. I had the chicken enchiladas and the chicken wasn’t shredded it was chunks. I’ve also never had a «beef burrito. There was ground beef in the burrito. Usually the only meat in a burrito or taco from an authentic place is carne Asada, pollo Asada, and el pastor. I eat here every once and a while with friends and always am frustrated because its not what I expected.

Serves pretty-good steak burritos/tacos. This is the place to go if you can’t wait on the line at Bubba’s Burrito Bar and don’t want the fake Mexican that is Taco Bell across the street.

Came in here on a mission to find the best burrito on LI. Let’s just say I’m still looking… The burrito looked like what I would make if you gave me all the ingredients and told me to make it myself. Just a sloppy mish-mosh collection of mexican condiments with some steak. Nothing really came together right. The place was also hotter than a sauna inside(this was before the current heatwave). I grabbed some nachos too and they were simply ‘bleh’. 2-stars bc it was OK(far from great) and my meal was under $ 10(rare). If you’re not on a burrito fact finding mission like I was, I would skip this place. Tip: Try the cheesesteak. Someone has to.

AWFUL! Looks like it would be good.(Love dank dirty places). The beef and chicken are mushy and no flavor. The food looks like You would get sick from eating it. STAYAWAY! Locals love it… I Do Not!

Not impressed. They don’t make their own tortilla chips, the salsa tastes like it comes from a jar, the shrimp is stringy and not deveined, and the beef is tough. The guac is decent, but the fajita seasonings are a bit overwhelming. It’s a great, cheap deal and quick service by nice people, but at the end of the day, not authentic.

I’ve had much better Mexican food made at Chinese restaurants by Chinese people then by these frauds. They should be ashamed of themselves! The enchiladas were low quality, the guacamole sucked, the rice and beans were atrocious, and they’re not good at math(2oz guac $ 1 and 4oz guac for $ 2.50).

SICK! I am a 3x a week regular at this place! They are always sweet and quick. They are great fast alternative to icky places like Taco Bell. Not a sit down restaurant, but that is not generally what I’m looking for anyway. My favorites are: Bean Burrito Enchiladas w/rice and beans Quesadillas You are missing out by not going here. Love them!

Sub par Mexican food. Burritos are bland quesadillas are paper thin. Pass.
