Gilbert Jacobson, DDS

Let me start by saying I seriously despise going to the dentist. I would rather spend two days at the gyno than get my teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, in this case I needed to get a bone graft and a tooth yanked due to a root canal gone bad from a year ago. Enter Dr. Jacobson, the sweetest, nicest man I have met in a white coat in a long time. He was gentle, funny, smart as understanding. He assuaged my fears and help me make it through a procedure with no pain. I was shocked at how well it went. I mean I knew he was good but he managed to do with no pain during the procedure just some pressure. Now, that’s not to say there wasn’t some pain after the operation but hey I had a bone graft and Dr. Jacobson made sure I had the right medications to deal with it. I am a super nervous dental patient and he dealt with my anxiety calmy but firmly without the patronizing attitude that other periodontist I have been to have used towards me. It has been my pleasure to finally be able to draft a review for a fabulous periodontist in MIami whose mannerisms are more Midwest than MIami. Turns out Dr. J is from Cleveland. He even gave me his cell Number to call the night before the procedure and didnt even mind when I called him twice on it. PleaseDo yourself a favor and go here. It is worth it. Haven’t dad that nice of an experience In a doc’s office In a while. Also, his price are very reasonable and since the surgery Dr. Jacobson has called me twice a day to see how I am doing./feeling not staff from his office (although they have called too) but Dr. Jacobson himself.
